  1. yeah but it would be nice to have a type of vehicle that travels across land, that carrys more than 3 players, as for example, me and my village needed to move about 10 minutes of walking, and we needed more seats, but didn't wish to take more animals, so some of us had to walk, which delayed us quite a bit.
  2. well then they would move to a shrub somewhere, or hide in a hole, and i dont believe there are big deserts.... and if it cant find a place to sleep it probably move until it finds a tree, most likely Rolf would add "findnearest_tree" and make it head over in that direction, or findnearest_bush, and etc...
  3. or new idea, if a player believes in what gods there is in WURM(i only know what there is one called FO and valnora or something) the gods will make the boat lower a anchor and stay in place until the owner logs back in, or finds there boat, instead of drifting.
  4. since were talking about this, i think some mobs should react to the players around it, move back if it needs to, avoids fences, walls etc... im not reading the 30 posts, but if someone stated what i just said, sorry, also if it finds itself enclosed it may get angry and bash a wall until it gets out.
  5. 1: is already suggested, look at other topics. 2: giving names is to be honest stupid, for example, thats like owning a shop, a person comes in and asks for a job, and you say to him, your new name is bob frank. doesent make that much sense now does it. but giving them names wouldn't be to bad but still, truely i dislike these suggestions. 3: ehh i dont understand what exactly you mean.
  6. why a cloth tile? why not a actual rug tile, that will connect like lego's along the ground, so instead of 2 rugs placed next to each other, it could be a long rug.
  7. the main purpose of this topic was its kinda stupid that the only ways to travel are boat, animal, or a brown woody, chipped looking cart.(not trying to be rude to the maker of the cart, its nice and all but it is kinda annoying only to see 1 type of transportation that can hold players on land...)
  8. Snow

we have a sport here, you may see it on TV when you see Americans go to Canada, basically you go into a hot tub in your shorts, and run outside and see who lasts the longest, my personal best is 8 minutes. and the basic WURM player is already clothed. and basically a player would probably already have maybe some worn out boots, ragged pants and shirt, and maybe a stretched cap. as that is a terrible thing to wear outside obviously but its something to shield you from the wind. players may cover it up with some rags, and insulate it with cotton. and i believe a WURM week is 23 irl hours, and down in lower Manitoba it snows for 2-3 months if its a hot summer, 1-2 months if it was a OK heated summer.(i used to live in lower Manitoba until i was 11ish) so basically 3-4 irl days of winter. and about 1 irl day would be a storm. and here are some things that some people may not realise: DeFects: -this would require a whole new load of textures, roofs, tree leaves, base of a tree, horses and bulls would require to be moved down to a lower elevation due to the fact that all the heat goes down, not up. so people who have animals on hills would sadly have a chance of there animals freezing to death. -players would move 8% slower, 15% uphill, and about 40% if in deep deep snow... (<-- hate it, also could be avoided if snowshoes were added to the game, snow would decrease your speed maybe 3%?im just putting these in % as its probably easier for you to understand...) benefits of this: -meat can be dropped on a snow tile, and reduces decay rate by 3x -rats and spiders would be less common -bears would be in caves or do not even spawned.
  9. just curious but could you give us the program you are useing to make these player models? and maybe have the community assist in making player models and all the snazy stuff required to make them.
  10. Snow

only got about a week and a half playtime, and i live in canada, and i know how to deal with dam frostbite... churchhill ftw. it snows all months of the year except june for 2 weeks.
  11. same but i prefer wurm for a better graphics based game, i use minecraft to blow stuff up all its good for atm
  12. title basically, build stairs, requires the whole building to get support beams(about 4 per tile) and stairs and basically everything for a basic house.
  13. Snow

title explains it, 30% of frostbite, cured by right clicking a heat source and clicking "Warm Up" or carrying a torch, lantern, or a candle(<not sure if it exists XD) torch warms up faster than lantern as a lantern is in a metal encasing i believe.
  14. people who choose minecraft over wurm are people honestly, dumb. all i gotta say is think about it.
  15. Idea 1: Carages Would Be A Alternate Transportation In Wurm, Instead Of Always Taking Large Carts, Or Riding On The Back Of A Horse, I Felt We Should Get Some Style Into Wurm, So I Thought Carages. Types: Photo 1: Iron Carage Photo 2: Traveling Carage(Like a large cart, but holds 6 people and 4 felled tree's. (exclude driver) Photo 3: Royal Carage(Doesen't Have To Be Added, But Would Be A Goal, Require More Than A Cog) Idea 2: Well Signs Just Arn't Cutting It For Me, So I Suggest Papers On The Wall That Can Hold A Paragraph's Worth Of Text
  16. im not sure if this has been suggested, and ive yet to find a tab where i can change my keyboard controls, so imma just say it here, i think we should get to change our controls, i don't have a f3 butten, i got it but i have to press right shift, left alt and 3. and its very sickening doing it 90 times in 20 minutes, i just want a panel where i can change my control settings from f3 to 3 and etc...
