It seems odd to me that there's a known system that has (with a little bit of lead up work) known hype, something that can be announced on press websites easily, and generates ongoing excitement and replayability being left to gather dust. I understand that in the devs timeframes it might not be something they want to pick up immediately, but Krister should be very enthusiastic about launching a new Jackal round purely for noteworthiness
  2. The new map experience and hype was part of the appeal of jackal, I’d love to see that come back as a repeating event to get that exploration kick every few months
  3. There's been no new endgame armour for a while, I'd not be looking at this as a majorly hot topic given it's not changed.
  4. It's new as a rare metal from the holy sites, and now small chance when mining a meteor. It's okay, you're still forever a noob, but not here haha
  5. Fully agree, it sucks. Enki has been a backbone of this game for so long, and has brought so much of the wurm magic to the game, from his random ENKounters, to his Knights of Seris quest chain (what a mammoth task) the game is worse off without him. I do sincerely hope GCG give him an event coordinator role where he can bring more fun and whimsy to the game.

Honestly even just raising the cap from 10% to 20% would bring a ton of flexibility into the system Steel kind of set the benchmark of what was the best option, and then everything had to be built around that, but not being better than steel means you get tiny bonuses that ultimately don't do a lot more.
  7. 100% The game was built on the idea every action should have a skill attatched, but so many are unnecessarily shallow. The food system is broad, but not deep once you identify a few key OP recipes (full house pizzas are a mistake) that you can't really change without upsetting everyone. I think limiting the affinity timer from foods would give better flexibility but that's for another thread. At the end of the day, I think the affinity system is broad enough and the skills existing need sharpening to get better before there's any worries about expansion, but out of curiosity, what skills would you like to see added, and how would it be deep?

  10. It's already happened with cartography and archaeology, there's ways and means to join skills together and it's a far easier process than mapping out a whole new range of skills! There's also other skills far less used, and titles arent connected to skill in the sense that if the skill was removed the title would disappear

  12. I think the better option would be to actually remove some skills if new ones come in. Shields for example has 7 skills attached to it, that could be 1-2 at most (wood, metal) There's no huge need for hundreds more skills, I'd rather see existing skills deepened than new ones added.

  14. Impalongs are great for meeting people! Treasure hunting and archaeology are absolutely not late game, their goal was to be accessible from the start. don't worry too much about the tumultuous time, there's concerns about branding and the like but ownership hasn't changed, just the CEO, but everyone is anxious as you said, shouldn't impact your play though

Honestly not really, I get it feels that way, but it likely takes time to collate the feedback and have a solution, given the amount of feedback there needs to be a solid response and not just "I understand how you feel, we'll get back to you with a response" because ultimately it's a non-answer. Krister should be speaking with the dev team and organising proper collection of feedback before posting anything, so don';t worry too much!
