I would prefer if polls were anonymous. If I vote in a poll, I read the thread carefully and give my decision some thought but would want my decision to be private. If the voter wanted to let his/her vote be known or expand on the idea / proposal they can do this in the forum thread.

I would support the idea of a micro-deed or even buying a spawn point as Alec suggested. There is always the safe option of the 'status quo' where nothing that is established changes (I am probably as guilty of this as anyone) but ideas like these are surely worthy of discussion minus the vitriol?

Sorry, no- With this idea you are sailing very close to implying the use of illicit substances and that of course is going completely against your Wurm code of conduct.

Good to see that new ideas are being formulated and discussed with players, however, I cannot imagine Wurm with flying in it.

I am sure that we are all grateful for any Christmas gift from the developers. It must be almost impossible to come up with something that all players could use and does not negatively affect people who have bought from traders. I like your idea Kegan. Possibly in the same vein, what about a first aid kit that could be used on wounds with a specific number of uses- 99q reducing by 1q each use? Or would this spoil the PvP experience?

I think we need to fill up some of the existing servers before another is discovered. However, if there was to be one soon, I would suggest that it should be original in concept, challenge and style such as extreme topography- but it still needs to have the basic Wurm concept.

I have 3 premium accounts and find it difficult to use the sleep-bonus up as I am a casual player. I know that sleep-bonus as a form of compensation is valued by many, but, to be honest I do not believe that we should expect compensation for server-downtime unless it is something major. It happens and it is annoying but that is the real world- you cannot go through life expecting compensation for every little problem or setback.

As a person who plays with characters on both clusters, it really does not bother me whether the two areas are combined. I would imagine that it would be (is) more of an issue for those players who have a 'business' developing on the Pristine/Release cluster and who are concerned that they could lose their status. I would agree with the point that Rolf did mention that the intention was for both clusters to be linked. I would therefore suggest that the most important thing is not whether they should be joined but HOW they are to be joined so that the 'world' becomes more spherical and less linear.

I have been following LIF for a long time now and I wish Bobik luck. There is one big difference between Wurm and LIF and that is the fact that Wurm exists, is established and has a loyal core of players. I see nothing wrong with the development of new 'sandbox' games and in many ways this could lead to a more rapid development/evolution of Wurm as it continues to be challenged by these new kids on the block. Incidently, Xsyon has just announced a PvE only server as part of its evolution.
