Just to avoid missunderstandings, my post isnt realy about taming dragon (what i personaly would like) or having a certain number of beasts as followers. Its intended is more general suggestions for possible skill mechanics that - as i think - can make the animal interaction in wurm much more interesting. So please discuss, make sugestions and generate attention for this thread in hope it will come to the eyes of rolf the allmighty

Dear Deliverance players and visitors on saturday the 5th July a Rite of Spring will take place at Deliverance Stadium. Following priests have confirmed to participate: - Odynn's Vyn competence team - Seara's Vyn competence team - Bloodcry (not 100% sure) - Evi (probably) Further priests are welcome to join. The Deliverance Stadium is located 2 minutes east of the starter deed Green Dog, L15 on the ingame map, 21x/24y on the forum map.

In order to make animal related skills more attractive i suggest the following: - Animal Husbandry -- Rare traits for a higher speed bonus and others for fighting related values of animals. These traits should be rare, hard to breed to other animals and add a significant improvement in their domain. - Animal taming -- Allow tamers to have more than one pet by introducing a point system. For example, a lv 99 tamer has 99 taming points and a cat consumes 5 points while a dragon consumes 99 points. So the tamer can have 19 cats or 1 dragon tamed at the same time. (this has been allready suggested by somebody else) - Animal training (a new skill) -- Allows to train animals to give them even better charachteristics besides the one they get from taming -- Allows to domesticate wild animals so they turn into non aggro mobs and can be given to other players. Guards and Templars do not atac domesticated mobs owned by players from the same kingdom. In order to avoid overpopulation a player should be restricted to as many domesticated animals as he can care for.
