  1. Premium time till June.

    Currently Libila Priest, Toon has not gone back to freedom since the change was made where you were forced to choose your freedom deity or chaos, If gm's would still allow the change to go back this toon would be reverted to 82 or 84 faith vynora follower on freedom. Prior to this change this toon was used as a priest of both faiths, Libila on chaos and Vynora on freedom.

  2. Many of you that are debating or trying to make it clear that its 3 slots per god are clearly not seeing the balance point of this issue. It has nothing at all to do with how many slots there are per god, this was never an issue because when champs were made there were only 3 kingdoms, the problem persist now because 1 change was made allowing PMKs without a full look over the entire system that follows. So long story short this is a mistake no matter how you want to try and justify it. It has just never been caught till now about 1 year or so after the birth of PMK's, which is only logical as it takes a while to build from the ground up.


     


    When big changes, or heck even any changes are made the entire mechanics of every other aspect should be looked at to figure out what will be affected in the long run. It turns out that now there has been an imbalance created regardless how you care to view it if you dont see any fault in the way it currently is. No one here is really crying foul about JK or MR, but simply the overall system in place and imbalance it now creates.


     


    A very simple fix to this situation is very simple just allow each kingdom 3 slots of the god they follow. We already cannot ally anymore since that system was removed, so there would be no way to take advantage of splits happening of kingdoms for champ slots, as the kingdoms would read enemy towards each other and bad moves would end up being costly in a pvp engagement, it would just create a way for new kingdoms to actually stand a chance in growing, as well as perhaps bring a bit more life into pvp.



  3. And then you remember Epic has base kingdoms and pmks as well so the issue still remains for WL as well ;)

     

    But seriously, the WL vs BL thing has to go, it's not even close to that considering they are enemy kingdoms

     

    This really has nothing at all to do with WL vs BL, or math for that matter.

     

    Its quite obvious as to how Wurm has grown with time that problems like this arise simply due to changes made to the game such as the whole PMK allowed to be made but no real thought process going through all that would be affected. This is how wurm has been played for as long as i can remember, when an issue like this ends up seeing light it is because it has reached a point where there is clearly an imbalance.

     

    The Issue at hand is not that WL have 6 champs, because WL should not be looked at as a whole, since they are actually at war with each other one believing in following Vyn and Fo while the other believing in Mag.(I am trying to be nice about it and make the war about lore regardless if the real reason is that each side believes the other side should die a horrible death IRL). So being that 2 kingdoms who happen to be WL are able to have 3 champs each because of the god they each follow while 3 BL kingdoms have to share 3 slots TOTAL.  As of right now that is very much an imbalance between kingdoms, not to mention what happens if another real WL PMK were to be made... Lets say hypothetically speaking if half or JK or MR were to split up for whatever reason, and a new kingdom was made, now there are 3 or even 4 WL kingdoms now sharing 3 champ slots as well. 

     

    Now some of you will try and make the argument that well you can kill a champ 3 times and then take the slot for yourself... Well that would be a pretty extremely hard thing to do as its about pure advantage. Fact is Champ slots should meant to be an ability all Kingdoms should have their own slots in. It does not need more GODs to follow, we just need to have a real balanced format which gives every single opportunity to each and every single PMK that is tried to succeed in the lands of chaos.


  4. Perfectly prepared to be flamed but hear me out.

    The number of new players who start on Chaos without knowing anything about it and complain in GL about Valrei spawns, etc, is absurd. For 90+% of these players, they are too new to just sail over to another server to learn the game, and are thus getting stuck and for the most part quitting because they can't get started.

     

    My proposal is simple. Disallow access to Chaos from the tutorial, meaning players are able to start on other Freedom servers, safe from Valrei spawns, but in return implement a unidirectional one use only teleport from Freedom to Chaos (toon only, no items). This would mean new players would start in a less harsh environment and be able to learn the game before being harassed by Nogumps, and wouldn't inconvenience any veteran players as they could still use their transport to get to Chaos regardless, would really just block new players making an uneducated decision and having to suffer for it later.

     

    How would cutting off players who want to join a pvp server be a good thing?


  5. I'm reading the post again. with what the village has and I could swear it said there was a trader. But now I'm not seeing anything about a trader being on deed? Did I possibly make a mistake while reading multiple threads.
