  1. I can empathize with Jakeriver's point here. I've not done this myself but can see the defeat not needed. Perhaps some compromise if not as he suggested, be able to use lore to know in advance whether added x woodscrap gives vinegar or wine..
  2. Every feel like a fresh look, a nip n tuck, a new you? Sometimes you want to be a redhead, maybe the acne face cleared up or that axe scare across the nose healed. I'd like to have the hand mirror for sale on game npc trader for 1-2 silver to change your to reflect your mood or feel today. This does not give any crafting advantage or inherently change the toon identity for purpose of reputation etc. It does not conflict with the spirit of the game where you build your world though freedom of choice and skill building. It's simply a vanity change through a micro transaction. I'd think this would be widely popular and add extra coin into king's coffers. I call upon the Devs to consider placing it in game as mentioned above, i'd also like to hear thoughts from fellow wurmians

  4. All amazing new offerings, truly each can stand alone as a thing to be excited/happy about. I'm still holding out hope something special will happen and dappling grey is in the game as some highly randomized possibility, i'm also still holding out for snowy mammoths and dolphin chariots. I prayed hard and wished fervently for saddlebags, look what happened. There is hope and yes virginia there is a santa clause.

  6. +1, i miss the gift wrapped ability. perhaps there is a way to bring back the mechanic that overrides/fixes previous issues with them so we can enjoy celebrating our fellow wurmians again with something thoughtful and handcrafted.

  9. I'm impressed i see you have stairclimbers for fitness and building better glutes on the unis. The "cold branding" technique definately sold me. Should i need to retire my ebony black foal "raidtich", i know where to send my courier pigeons for inquiry. Perhaps if Ever After Pastures is chosen, a gm dirigible will airlift her for a grand vista view on her Journey.

  11. having problem logging into server again, getting just water no landscape. this has been happening from time to time in recent month and only wurm. no other website. did trace route here is findings, appears a hetzner problem not sure what you can or can't control here. I've deleted ip info on top hops for privacy yet show once past comcast. you can see the timing out at hetzner. I report this to be helpful but also to state this is NOT a one off, but happens on some basis over the last few months only.   13. A glimmer of light lives on, I have a new foal "Raidtich" I have a feeling it will love to ride up and down the vast roadways of wurm. Infact I live near one she herself worked on rather recently. It'll be the foals first canter when old enough.

Please don't bring kingdom bias into discuss, it's about balance of mechanics and more to do with how out of balance it is. perhaps because so few had before it's not seen for the op imbalance it is was part of my point. if you felt it was a problem before , wish you had made a suggestion post. i had hoped this wouldn't debase down into kingdom politics , we've been able to bypass that before in what has become a big driving factor for all the changes we've seen taking place in pvp. It's better for all when we don't act out of self interest or kingdom politics to further then balance and quality of pvp.
  15. over time Devs have responded to coding of mechanics by an upward or downward adjustment in the name of balance. Somethings aren't noticed as imbalanced when not heavily used, but once they become so, the imbalance is highlighted in an obvious way not seen prior. Until the crazy of personal goals and realization about them to win tomes, sorcery was a rather small aspect to the game often shrouded in mystery and with few players using and having them. Now they are ubiquitous. Which brings me to my request for Devs to review the karma spell true strike for potential adjustment. The spell becomes quite op when even the strongest player is multi targeted with this casted spell, well beyond any OP artifact of the past type dmg. Other than noticing or knowing a player has casted true strike for themselves going into battle to hit someone and thusly dispelling, there aren't effective ways to negate this, to which often results in extremely fast death. My thought or suggest for change is the following: To limit true strike hit on a player to only one successfully being able to be landed no matter how many have been casted and being used on a single player and once hit with it, you will have a debuff immunity for a cool down timer of say minute to minute and half. All have been affected by this whether as receiver or punisher dealing the deadly hit. I myself have this tome on a few of my own characters, so this is not out of self interst as it would lesson a benefit that i currently enjoy. This suggestion is meant more for a balance in pvp skirmishing. The Dev team is keenly aware of imbalances across many aspects of pvp and working endlessly of recent to overhaul many aspects from armor , to priests, to combat. I'm quite sure there would be value and interest to review this as well while having such focus on pvp mechanics to adjust. Thank you Bloodscythe
  16. i'm truly bereft. Tich worked endlessly and gave so so much to this game in technical brilliance. I will greatly miss you and i can only hope you are continuing on a wonderful journey and perhaps building castles in the sky, build a bridge for me to get there someday

  18. +1 i'd also like to piggyback on this and ask that we have and easier quick glance way to know which tomes have been used on a character other than cross referencing the buffs or checking existing karma spells .
