    I just wiped windows off my harddrive and installed Linux Mint.  I used it years ago and don't remember having this much problem.

    I am completely unable to launch the wurm client.  Is there a step by step guide somewhere?\

     

    I downloaded the WurmLauncher.tar.gz from the website, extracted it to my home/user/Wurm folder i created it and get the 'jcef-natives' 'linux64' folders, then client_live.jar, depfiles, hs_err_pid25461.log then the WurmLauncher

     

    clicking on client_live.jar brings up

    "The file '/home/hardreboot/Wurm/wurm-launcher/client_live.jar' is not marked as executable.  If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run.  For more details, read about the executable bit."

     

    clicking on client_live.jar does absolutely nothing

    Bridges weren't implemented when they said they would've been?  Who ever would have thought THAT would happen...  :rolleyes:


     


    Honestly, I'm just fed up with the whole thing.  In 6 years, you can't figure out bridges?  Who cares about masks?  Who cares about another server, let alone a PvP one.  Fix the game and make it look like it's actually a game that's currently played, not one that was competing with Space Invaders back in the day.  Oh, and quit making false promises.

    I have a 4x2 area I'd like to turn into a zen garden type area.  Also, I'd like to have a plaza/courtyard area in the middle of my homestead.  Anyone willing to share ideas, designs or their own?  Size is really no matter on the plaza.

    Round world system is not ideal, it creates problems for further expansion, and we all know that that will happen, no point in saying we dont need it.

     

    Having the option to choose multiple servers to cross to from a border would work better. but having limited choices on each border. Ie North of chaos could be Indi  or Xanadu, east Deli or Exo, West Pristine or Release, South Celebration etc. The same would happen for all servers of course. So exo would have multiple border options allowing for one server travel from all servers.

     

    This is not probably the most practical layout from chaos, but is just to illustrate a method.

    Why not a compromise on this? This suggestion^ but make chaos an option from every PvE server and make each side of chaos connect to a group of PvE servers? Honestly, now, does it really have to be a set globe/planet? We have portals to another dimension, for crying out loud.
