When you switch into 3rd person view from first person., it seems like your first person view is locked at whatever position it was when you switched to 3rd person and no longer updates or a slight alternative theory is in 3rd person the direction is based off the direction your feet are pointing not your head. Locate soul, Locate artifact and also pendulums seem to break because of this in 3rd person, its very noticeable when doing locates or pendulum on a horse as you are often facing backwards or directly to the side.While the text you receive is based off your feet or horse direction. This also effects the visual direction another player seems to be looking. if you sit next to an alt for example and you look to the left and right, without moving your feet, in 1st person the alt sees your head move in each direction, in 3rd person you dont appear to move.
  2. +1 moon metal should be available to everyone or nobody. At this point I dont see why its not added back to pvp also.
  3. all I hear is WAAAA I want to play on freedum but want all the pvp perks without the risk, freedom has already been given 99% of the things that used to be unique on pvp servers, you can manage with your freedom wagons IMO. -200 IQ
  4. It would be cool if the random meteors gave a reward like moonmetal, it was fun to chase these down on a WU server i played on. the pet meta sucks in pvp, i wouldnt mind it just being removed entirely.
  5. Unless the following two things change it will always be optimal to grind skils on pve server, regardless of what other perks you get on pvp. 1. Being a priest in pvp makes you significantly stronger in all pvp engagements, +CR + damage passives alone are enough to justify it, then add spells. But you cant grind body stats easily as a priest, because you cant Improve anything so you are stuck with Mining/digging as the best way. 2. On Pve you can still get level 11 Meditation for + skill gain including body stats. Where you cant on pvp.

Can we have 1h spears, there are already two 2h spears in the game, "long spear" is the same damage as a med maul can you make this a 1h weapon instead of 2h, easy fix Long spear Polearms Piercing Two-handed 2.7kg 8.0 5.0s 1.600 6% 7 100% 0 Spear Polearms Piercing Two-handed 3.7kg 9.0 5.0s 1.800 6% 7 100% 0

I think the chance to block needs some sort of minimum, getting those first 10-15 points is way harder than getting ticks after that. with low FS, low QL shield and no skill you just dont block at all. This would also help noobs if there was some min block chance. Ultimately I think going out and hunting with a 1h and shield needs to get you enough shield skill that it makes using cheesy shield training tactics not really worth it.
  8. Wouldnt a much simplier solution be:- make max favor X3 Faith make it so you cant use more than your faith number of favor on a single spell.
  9. This would have been a okish idea if it was implemented before the launch so we could use existing characters on north freedom just starting over with no skills, doesnt fix the problem that everyone now has two characters.
  10. -1 Navigation in wurm during PvP is a skill, not one you see in your skills tab but a skill non the less. It's not an easy one to master, but for those that do it's rewarding so I don't agree on adding things that make the game easier for people who haven't mastered navigation in PvP.
  11. It should be related to numbers somehow, maybe mayors get a bonus based an players in village
  12. You have to uncheck the faithful button on the menu button bar, that lets you go against the will of your god, so you can bury the corpse
  13. Forges or ovens inside a boat, lets you see the imp icon. Plus if you roll a rare its a win. Else just imp a handful of grindstones.
  14. i made a sugetion post to track this as I feel strongly on this subject and is lost in this thread which is mostly about channeling changes.
  15. In the last patch notes This change removes many fun game play aspects including being able to play a priest on pvp and craft on pve. It also forces all pvp hots players to be lib on pve preventing them being vyn for the skill gain bonus for example. I am suggesting to NOT make this change and leave things as they are, If you agree to keep things the way they are +1 this post if you want the change please post why,
  16. Xallo covered most of it, for years I have hated the fact you have to be a priest to pvp, yet you cant build your character body stats and cant craft as a priest. This feature is one of the main reasons I returned and started playing the new servers, finally I could be a priest in pvp and still build my skills and craft on the pve server. I also made alts and started working on them based on his feature for example my pvp server crafter is also my fo priest on pve, if this changes goes in I will have to rethink my alts and basicly start over. if this feature was never put in place then having linked faith is fine, as people could have planned accordingly but it has too big of an impact to change a month or into release and I still dont even see a valid reason to why this is getting changed, you cant take items between pve and pvp so having two faiths doesnt matter. If you are pro linking faith please post here explaining why, as far as I can see I dont see any valid reason for the change unless there is some bug people are abusing that cant be fixed a better way.
  17. Pretty sure Libila followers are generally less successful when taming animals. Is not longer correct, I am fairly sure it was actually members of a HOTS template kingdom regardless of what god they followed. However I think this was actually removed a few years ago.
  18. On pvp you have to tame it to equip, brand doesn't do anything on pvp
  19. This is still a problem and reders the new UI unless on a pvp server.
  20. This is a client side bug with the new UI not server side. I noticed this on the first day or two and posted here

Also unless you are going to put everyone back to 40 channeling that used a bunch of alts and links the links change should also be reverted, its been this way since i started playing wurm, The problem with changing it now is you have people already at 90 channeling this isnt fair to those that have not yet got around to grinding it
