  1. Awesome, thanks for the answer. I'll definitely make sure to use openings instead of stairs then - I've decided I'm going to do it either way. I don't think it'll be too much of a problem if I can't use wagons - if need be, it's not too far to just go around the mountain with a road. However, the main reason I want a route to the other side of the mountain is that there's a large section of steppe there which is always really full of horses, bison, and other tamable animals. Is it possible to lead animals through a multi-storey building?
  2. So I have a 600-700 slope high cliff at one end of my deed, which leads to a saddle-pass I'd like to open a route to. Because of the way it's laid out, a dirt ramp would be really difficult to achieve - the cliff curves out around the edges of the pass, so the points where I'd want to put in switchbacks are the steepest. Instead, I had the idea of creating 2x2 platforms with multi-storey towers on them, each with a bridge connecting the top of one tower to the bottom of the next. I've got marble and slate on-deed, so I could make it all look realy cool. However, I have an inkling that I'd not be able to do some stuff with this setup that I otherwise would. The wiki mentions hauling large carts up to higher storeys with a rope, but I couldn't find anything about moving through multi-storey buildings with hitched carts, wagons, led or ridden animals, etc. Does anyone know whether these things are posible, or if there any other downsides to this method? I'm on my own server in WU, so I don't need to worry about highways or anything.
  3. I'm loving the mod so far, especially the customisable drop chances. How difficult would it be to make gem drop odds customisable in the same way?
