  8. Hello fellow Wurmians I just wanted to show you some developer presence. Many points of which Sunswortex brought up are true, people are still returning from vacation and thats why there has not been much interaction. Firstly, to be a bit fair to Rolf, he is newer fully of work and pops into the office and sorts out crashes even though he is supposedly on vacation. He is not however available for all his functions during this time, as it should be. I am working on opening up the interaction and also communication between us at the company and the players. Exactly how this will be handled best is still debatable as I am currently looking over forums, blogs, social media, devdiarys and irc channels to name some. Lets find a way to group players up behind important things and getting short, to the point questions/ information over to me, the forum moderators or GMs. Also there is the matter of who is going to go through it and categorize it all. I am going to look into this and post it once solved. Once staff get back, I think you will find that more technical/ bug related questions will be handled better again. Hope this will put you at ease for the moment Sincerely /RedBaron
  9. Hey all One of our fine forum moderators tipped me on this thread. All I can help you with at the moment, as this is also news to me, is this link: http://blog.paysafecardgroup.com/e-money-in-germany-changes-for-paysafecard/ Your troubles with payment via this method is not something that is related to Wurm specifically. And from what I can see it should only concern Germany. I hope you can find another way to sort this out so you can continue enjoying wurm in Germany! Sincerely /RedBaron
  10. Hello sunsvortex Thank you for you response and great feedback, it is appreciated. I agree with what you are saying and that a more frequent and transparent communication is needed between the company and players. If we are more open and straight with the overall news and videos, then if we chose to make material that is a bit "Mickey Mouse" in between, maybe wont feel so wrong. And hopefully be taken for what it is. A bit of playfulness and creativity from the developers. Rest assured that I am going to address this in the upcoming month as I am planning for a more "news cast" type of video update. As many people at the office are on their last weeks of vacations, enjoying our short Swedish summer. I am going to bring up some of the points you presented as they get back. I am not at liberty to openly discuss all of what has been said internally, but getting me involved in the company is about more then marketing. CodeClub wants to evolve and address its communication to its players in a meaningful way. Thanks again for you taking the time to comment and share your thoughts. Sencerely /RedBaron
  11. Hello Ruger and thank you for your response. We are definitely going to be cowering major updates and anticipated work in progress in the future. We do not however want to limit ourselves only communicating technical features, though it is going to be the focus for the most part. Sincerely /RedBaron
  12. Hello fellow Wurmians I am Johan "RedBaron" Svensson, newest staff member of WurmOnline. My main role at the company is Communications with production responsibility. I just wanted to thank you for all of the great feedback, both good and bad. All is taken into consideration for the next developer diary and it is certainly not our intention to offend anyones intelect. It makes me happy that the general reception is positive and that you seem to want more. Then I am happy too keep making this a priority going forward. When I started out here and got to know the crew, I was quite charmed by their modest and cheerful attitude. Thats why I had the idea of making a developer diary so that the players could also enjoy the lighthearted nature of these hardworking developers. It is a collaboration here at the company, and each one of us handles several types of roles and tasks. My time is divided between tasks working to further Wurm Onlines communication both to players, marketeers and the press. So I am still finding my pace and balance on how much time I can put in pure production work. As I have a background as a media producer and working as a visual artist for Funcom, I love doing production work. So you can count on me prioritizing getting allot of videos into my working schedule. I hope you will bear with me as I will take your comments to heart and find even better and more ways to to give you insight into the minds and news of WurmOnline. If you like the videos, please like, share and subscribe to our youtube channel. Thank you for your time! /RedBaron
