    yes, i have to agree. i feel chain takes way too much damage from decay. I can leave a 70 ql set alone for 2 days, and come back to 1-3 damage on it. a low ql set i could see, but a 70+ ql set?

    defense of chain is good tho, and current speed penalty is small. i'll have to start paying more attention to spam mode.

    It's such a pain in the butt to actually raise even one tile a decent amount in a lake. Any tile below the water line should be removed of the 40 tile steep rule. We can't flat raise it when it's in water cause it's too deep so make it so we can dig in water or remove the 40 steep rule in water.

    dirt underwater should IMO take twice as much to raise, to account for the non compacting that happens when FILLING IN A LAKE. dirt actually slides even worse when your trying to build in water.

    not at all. some people like to know these things, so they can plan other things around em.

    the 99 ql cheeses came from the easter eggs. (still got about 4 myself)

    not the highest in game i'm sure, but my personal highest is 80 ql chainmail  ;)

    in 35 years when i get to 90 i'll sell my 80 ql set  :)

    I agree with Raloc, a lot of CMs either are friends with the person spamming or go with what they say. Also, I have witnessed people being muted by CMa to be quiet in kingdom, even though they might say a funny joke that they didn't think was funny, or along those lines.

    I say, get rid of kingdom chat.

    as i am not on wild i cannot speak for alot of it, but i can assure you that i have muted my 'friends' with just the same impunity as others, even more so, since they should know better.

    What are you going to do, mute people for casual talk or a cheap laugh?  This is really stupid, Wurm is becoming some big dumb politically correct robot, the CM's now really do a terrible a job, with their arbitrary rulings and deciding whats wrong and what isn't (since all of the CM's seem to have been raised in a catholic family away from civilization in the dark depths of amishville this is a problem) and they do have rules to go by (which they don't follow, i.e. "I want kingdom chat silent, because I said so" and taking personal vendettas against people)

    Make a better censoring system (because the CM's think it's cool to mute people who say words that are already censored by the optional censor), an anti-spam system and get rid of half the CM's, most of these tools are in place already with the censoring filter and /ignore, CM's have an irrelevant job (more like privilege since they get to alter the chat as they see fit)

    first, we don't mute people for casual talk or cheap laughs. we do exactly as was laid out to us by those above us. if you have issues with the current system, bring them up to rolf, it's his choice for the rules.

    yea, we definately think its soooo cool to sit and babysit people like you all day who feel the rules don't apply.

    it's actually rather simple. you agreed to the rules when you signed up to play, don't like it, send a letter to the management.

You guys aren't helping anything, it's really more of a bother now.

    sorry thats the way YOU feel, but tough crap. if you feel we are bothering your gameplay because you can't spout off nonsense all day, so sad.. moving on. as to MR being so awesome with only one CM, i've seen the crap that goes on there. it's only awesome because it looks like a locker room. it toilet humor and cursing is what gets you by during the day, fine, keep it in village. the rest of us don't need to be bothered with your pointless drizzle about your imaginary e-peen size.

    Today wurm is fine in the age group. Mainly 14+ are playing so chat and gameplay stays at a "Mature" Level. What happens when advertiseing begins? The second the 10 year olds see images of the game and such they will flock over and destroy the game. Not Physically but imagine JK chat with all of them plus the massive amount of greifing from immature 10 year olds because they didn't get accepted to a village. Yes they can be banned but what does that do when theres another hundred or two hundred out there doing the same crap. Think of what the CM's and GM's will have  to deal with in the chats. You'd need a larger CM group and even Pacer agrees that the chat would be out of control.

    yes, i did agree with this statement. with our current situation, its a bit unwieldy at times to mute bunches of people. this is however being addressed in the near future, so we should be in prime position to handle the expected influx of customers

    I already see JK as an unlikely place to have a serious conversation, but this is home and I know most younger players will go home. But I'm saying that right now, chat isn't at a mature level, and it's not the "kiddies" fault.

    I log in JK and I see nothing but foolishness, most of the time; There are some good players. But if any of you have ever tried to get a simple answer like "What do you get when you melt iron ore?" You may get reply's like

    "Santa Claus" "An egg" "Poop" and others.

    Problem won't go away, just increase.

    i agree here poppy.  there are many foolish games that go on it chat all day like this. same with the forums. nonstop garbage spattered with usefull information that you have to pick thru.  its a rather 2 edged sword in chat though. do i mute them all and be done with the retardedness, or give them a bit of slack? if you mute, then your too hard ( :'( :'( :'( ) and if you cut any slack they push further.

    personally i think a gm cm cant be biased if they actually play wurm and not have a an unbiased decision even worse

    they can check ips so kyara or hf will never have a spy in there village.

    but it is fare if you dont have a gm in your village to check these things.

    im not mentioning names or pointing the finger but if a gm plays there can never be an unbiased decision.

    all the above is my opinion.

    so basically to sum this up........

    because you would do it if you had the power, hence all GM's and CM's are corrupt, and abuse their power daily.

    Has anyone ever stopped to even think what kind of checks and balances we have on each other?

    " To not interfere with the play of the game"  thats what i hear alot and that's what all GM's live by. they are given these positions for a reason, not just any schmo gets 'teh wand'.
