hmm, i have gained way more exp under the new system than the old. i like the new system better really. @ ohlol, its actually fairly easy to grind up fighting IMO nowadays. as for crap exp, remember this young<ado<mature etc in terms of exp as well as special types IE raging etc

Lets keep this on topic or i will have to remove it entirely.

Let's take this as an example. Armour: Not required at all. Just a little added bonus for an enemy you are likely to never meet. Swords: Minimally required. More than the armor, but still useless since you can make them after you settle anyway. Carving knife: Required. Definitely. Butcher knife: Not required, you can botanize/forage for food to eat or use in stews. Flint/steed: Required for making fires. Waterskin: Minimally required. If you're so worried about dying of thirst, settle next to a lake - you can get fish there, too! Spyglass: Totally unrequired. 10 onion: Again, unrequired. Forage/botanize. Pick: Required for cutting trees and mining. Bok: Unrequred. lets see.... the way the topic came across to me.... what of MY personal gear would i take if i had to sstart all over again. all this forage / botting is fine, but i'd much rather take the extra .65 KG and hit the gound running with 5 fields growing and 5 meals cooking while i remake all my tools etc as to my unrequired spyglass and bok..... spyglass for scouting and planning and creature avoidance. bok for storing keys teeth and carving knife / butcher knife hate to die and lose all that too......... o wait, thats what the armour and swords are for
