  4. I offered free prem for many first-prem players when GV was a real server. At that time, new accounts got a referral and 5s, and prem was 10s, so it was a wash for me. So the program was a little different from today. I accessed their account thru a temporary passwords, which they set before I took control and changed back when we were done. There was never a problem with account theft, mainly because they were newb accounts and no reason to take them. Common sense makes this a viable program, and certainly beneficial to players and the game. Good Luck OL
  5. Tried. Failed. Looked interesting when played ob a 6x6 square screen. Any attempts to enlarged the screen resulted in a crash after about 2 minutes.

  13. ok..I'll try to simplify. It was my perimeter. He came over to help me, but couldn't, until I made him an ally. Once allied, he could help me build. I'm not asking about getting more rights to the perimeter. On the contrary, I'm asking if there could be a way that the mayor could ease the restrictions that are hard coded on the perimeter to stop non-allies from building, etc. Even of it's as simple as being able to add his village into the roles, like you can an allied village. Or, simply put...What Theodis said.
  14. Currently, you can only build as a guest on an allies perimeter. If you are not an allie, you can not build on his perimeter, even if you hoid the writ.. I allied with him, and was able to get the house finished The first two responses missed my point entirely. I am not asking for perimeters to have special permissions, as much as for the mayor to be able to limit the restrictions hard coded into the perimeter to protect him. This particular house could not be deeded due to proximity of neighbor's perimeter and this deeds minimum.

  16. I don't see why they couldn't be repaired.. at least you'd know someone was looking after them. I have a feeling that those aren't the boats that are the problem tho. as for boat bridges and fishing markers..., they'd simply have to be maintained
  17. It would be nice if settings for perimeters could be set to mirror the deed. Even better if it was an option within "settings". I recently had a neighbor helping me build a house that was on my perimeter. Even with him holding the writ, he could not continue on the house, even though he could continue on a house that is on deed.
  18. Boats can be parked on the owner's deed. I agree with this. I have several boats on or around my deed that I know the owners have been gone 6 months or so. If nothing else, maybe mooring ropes could decay fast if not pulled up within 30 days or on deed. In 4 months, the boat could be free to be pushed away.
  19. I would never buy from anyone who can't photoshop seamlessly. kidding.. I've trade with grizzlyadams and have never had a problem. However..... anyone who would pay $120 for goods bought in game from another player, regardless of reputation, without seeing the product first, gets what they deserve. There are several ways to verify what you are getting. My favorite is to show them in a trade window. IMO, calling someone a thief by insinuating that, because they copy/pasted the list of items form their inventory so as to fit it on 1 frame, they are a scammer, is inexcusable, and at the very least, deserves an apology on the same thread it was posted on.
