  1. Are we still talking about traders? They got nerfed. Trader owners get over it. Trader owner haters rejoice, you won. Now you get money from the game for no reason. The only complaint I have is: I don't hunt or forage or dig. I play the same game as the rest of you but the things I like doing don't get me free money. Where do I complain to get my free money? I'm being sarcastic, but only to point out that one unbalanced mechanic has been replaced by another.
  2. Buying 75s, send offers via PM please.
  3. To staff, what do recommend i do considering I cannot log in properly due to connection issues on Wurm's end, and many of my deeds are about to expire very soon (today, tomorrow)?
  4. This is ridiculous on so many levels. It's as if whoever (-ahem-) came up with this "redistribution" scheme has never been exposed to an economic system. Pro-tip: Developer, sleep with an economy book as a pillow, you may gain some knowledge through osmosis. Preferably an Adam Smith one, because the system you're attempting to implement has failed everywhere in the world to date. Everybody is on welfare now, nice. Except me because I don't hunt or botanize, only craft, but that is secondary to the real issue of a working economy. Want to 'start' fixing the economy? Solution: Allow players to setup an inexpensive shop. Or a shop that takes a portion of profit without a startup cost. Allow players a mechanic to craft unique 'skins' for items at low skill. Example, clothes patterns, hat designs etc. Not the shape, the 'skin' so there is no conflict with programming. Essentially be able to craft non-game impacting skins to existing items or creation mechanics that are unique but only cosmetic. THAT type of freedom creates a true economy. The welfare system implemented at this moment only serves to devalue silver (making your CC shop purchases even less appealing). In turn making it less of an incentive for high level crafters to produce, but again, that is of secondary importance.
  5. Traders presently return 'practically' nothing on average anymore. I personally know of village traders returning 2s a month. All this means is I'll be making my own stuff and hiring less. I don't think this game is expensive, but I do think developers should worry less about squeezing the ingame economy and focus more on marketing for the game and programming servers that don't crash with 500 players. Also, want to make money from us richer players? Have an artist make clothing templates purchasable from traders, we don't mind you making money while we wear nice hats. The best money sinks come from players being able to express their style individuality. I'd pay for a tattoo also. Once you have templates, it's easy to bring out new bling every month.
  6. Apologies to the OP since most of the posts had nothing to do with your question. That having already been addressed I'll interject all others and derail some more Most perspectives shared above about shop/player coin is flawed. I'll explain: Rolf produces all silver "virtually" Sold at shop or by player gets used in game for a "virtual" service. He decides how much is released into the game for balance. He only releases coin at a profit. If you buy from the shop Rolf gets paid directly. If you buy from a player, Rolf gets paid indirectly. This even applies in relation to traders. If you do not recognize this you may not properly understand Wurm mechanics or economic models. Last but not least... Rolf is not broke after 10 years, the model works reasonably well as is.
  7. PM me with your availability for pickup.
  8. not sure if Nomads edit counts, if it does then buyout.
  9. @fatboy, yes I took those points into account. I believe it is ready to cast. It's an easy way for 3-5 Mags to make 3-5 silver each. I might pay more depending how fast it's cast.
  10. Willing to pay for this service on Indy. The sooner the higher value it is for me (and in turn you). I've converted my village to Mag influence, but can't keep it like that for too long (Vyn casters on deed). PM me when cast is completed for payment (must be reasonably soon). I'll pay 10s if it's done within 24 hours.
