  1. I explained. Stop spinning circles. Conversation is over with me at this point. Period.
  2. If you have paid attention to CAHelp which you frequent and have asked these question and participated in... QL of the shovel factors in how fast you dig.. COC changes how much experience you get. WOA changes how fast your action with said tool is... Your current skill factors in ALL of this. You are asking questions you already know answers to. I am done playing the Question answer portion of your game.. Have a Nice Day!
  3. I don't suggest reproducing any "experiment". I am simply giving my input as you asked. Information YOU provided btw.
  4. "Normal" terraforming is relative. Most people don't spend all their time on it. Ofc you can gain skill in something that you do day after day. However... There are factors that you could change in there, such as the QL of the shovel and the WOA/COC and it would change that. Is an excellent question. These are things that maybe some people didn't know.. But if you make a few comments on your time doing it and possibly even saying you aren't grinding ( anyone that spends their days doing what they love, eventually grinds.. especially when they announce progress in GL.. We have all done it.) You are looking for feedback.
  5. Is this character a part of the same deed? If not, then you can get a timer longer than 0. Also, you don't necessarily have to be in full combat mode to trigger the timer. You could be in the same area that someone else could be say- moving a hell horse that attacks or what not, and still have to wait the 5 mins. My priests that hold other deeds and actually reside at mine always have a timer logging out. It is never instant.
  6. Looks that way. It's being worked on!
  7. I played Everquest starting in 2000.. I picked this name originally for an woodelf druid, Silvirwolfe Darkmoon as it seemed to fit with her at the time. I had also recreated her on a different server as a barbie shaman. This name (and a few others that I now have as alts in Wurm) have traveled across many games. From pen and paper dnd, to EQ2, DND online, LoTRO, WoW... She's seen a lot in her lifetime. (Also, anyone that knows me well, knows that I am a fan of wolves and anything silver, as my collection of horses in game will show)
  8. I tried that before, but it didn't seem to want to work. I will try again though. Thanks LionIX! EDIT: Second time worked like a charm. Thank you again!
  9. Is there a way to rotate objects you place? I can't seem to find a way to do so.
  10. Rabbid Raker Scratching The Surface Crop Detangler Extraordinaire

  12. What made my Wurm start difficult.. Well, first off... Was watching my husband play this insane game with so many menus, so many right clicks for EVERYTHING. It took him 3 months to convince me to even TRY to play. Even at that, everyone was in green... You stood on a cart... There were no quests to complete. He finally got me to sit down and complete a couple walls on his first house for him while he went to take a shower. Then he told me about the beautifully colored unicorns. I caved. Made an account.. Then struggled through right clicking every action, making a halfway presentable deed for us, 20ql chain armor... 20 ql iron long swords. Then our neighbor to the south, she was sweet, would give us advise and such, but then her friend, Miss Goth legend herself, Pomona, would show up and dazzle me with her different clothing and edgy ways. Lost my gear hunting with some of our first alliance.. No maps, just a general direction and apparently an angry troll. No worries though.. I got my stuff back and we put that troll in it's place. Even if it took 6 of us.
  13. There is an expandable list on this page that tells you how much dye you would need
  14. With the new update, the sails on the sailing boats seem to have lost their color. All other boats are unaffected.
  15. Yeah, I figured as much. Especially with 1 post. Still said what was on my mind though.
  16. Well.. I was born in 77.. I can't even take half of this seriously. I've played Wurm since 2011. I have never looked at this game at a cash cow and if you are- you need to find another profession. Games were meant to be challenging and to have fun. Is this game a grind? Yes.. It's always been a grind. It's so much easier now than it was. At the comment that games die around the 7 yr mark, there are games out there that have been around for 20yrs.. That still have a fan base. That still get subs and put out expansions. If you have suggestions for the game, you are more than welcome to post them in the proper place, the suggestions forum. You've been around long enough to know how forums work. I know I have. EDIT: In case you can't find it...
  17. Sometimes has you longing for home. http://
  18. And I could quote the whole damn thing, cause you are right, but I am correct too... I can hop on WoW and have a 120 within a week if I so wanted. They are handed easy mode to grind and be on the top tier for insta gratification. I mean, just look at minecraft. Even they caved and catered to a creative mode so if all you wanted to do is build, you can build. In a sense, Wurm catered to that as well with WU. As an "older" player, I do laugh at those that complain that it is hard... The game really isn't. Sorry you have to work on things, sorry you have to play past the freebie 20 point to experience what you really want to.. Both times I came back after a break, I did so for the community and the game play. I like seeing what I can accomplish with a blank space. Even years later when I change up what is already there. Fun is subjective, everyone can have a different opinion on it.
  19. It's not even that though. So many new players are so used to everything being handed to them in other games that they can't appreciate what Wurm actually gives. What's the point in gaming if you are decked out right from the start?? What keeps you there? What makes you want to stay long term? If you already have it all in the beginning, what's the point? Change is good, but if I have to present you with a key to your own prefabricated deed, a full premium package for the price of nothing and 100 skill... What's the point? Just buy someone's character.
