  1. 81CoC 75WoA Carving knife to Rodriguez please.
  2. And i'll take the last one to Rodriguez please.
  3. +1 Even if they're just camps, either spawned or static.
  4. More customization is the key, so the 2 wall types of wood and stone are completely adequate in your opinion Jeixi and Martynas5? Yes there may be a 3rd wall type in the pipeline. But I would expect Flamingos or Flying Unicorns to be added before that. I appreciate what you're saying there Torgrim, potentially we could have the option for higher level crafters to be able to produce any of the lower designed items out of choice? This topic was mostly about expanding the selection of options in regards to buildings and trying to come up with a way to suggest implementation of that. I'm wondering why this wasn't a higher priority considering building a home is the one of the biggest selling points of the game? My house just looks like your house, his deed just looks like her's.... and so on.
  5. It seems alot of people have a wide variety of ideas to what they believe to be the best situation. I feel as though most of the ideas could be covered. In having one cluster, people are very spread out at the moment. And the majority of the population appears to be on the newer Pristine and Release. Why were these never previously linked to the main cluster with Independence?
  6. It's a positive idea. I would prefer to see one large deed act as a starting town. Where new players will be allowed building privs on a 2x2 / 3x3 plot for a limited time. I think alot of newbies quit just struggling to find somewhere to build a house! In regards to your trader idea, the trader could potentially give small quests to newbies for a small period of time after starting. Such as collecting 20 planks, 10 nails or whatever. Not necessarily to earn cash, but potentially for some personal reward, sleep bonus? something similar. Rodriguez
  7. Carrying animals on boats in nice. Then why isn't the suggestion of transporting animals nice?! Please elaborate, especially when you have given -1. I appreciate the current obstacles such as this. But saying something just simply can't happen isn't constructive or even useful. An animal cap could be adjusted to contain such a buffer. Or other alternatives to the problem can surely be found.
  8. Yes bp19086, thus adding something such as a Moose would be a relatively small job compared to something like Sheep where alot of thinking needs to go behind it, associated items/crafts etc. New to the table would be a new animal.. a moose. More is surely better here?
  9. I disagree entirely, Over the past year and a half this is the 3rd time for me coming back. People around me have disappeared left right and centre, my rl friends quit after a short time. I feel the lack of diversity to be a bigger issue than having too much. Progression is the key to sandbox I feel, very much in a personal sense to keep newbies interested. Adding further customization would do no harm to the current player turnover. In regards to the armour, that was a further suggestion which happened to be along the same vein. And hadn't been thought out too well. Umbranik, I appreciate your point, but I'm sure PVPers will still go for the best they can get. If RP PvPers were to use lower QL armour because of it's more shoddy design, then surely that's a good thing? Once again, being different is my point here. Silvirwolfe, People would rarely build a wall to let it decay only to have a hole in it. So really there is no variation, apart from players who have left, or the few who would use such an implement for decoration. Thus you think it's fine for a 20% Mason who started a small number of days ago, to produce a wall of exactly the same quality (by appearence) as a 90% Mason who had potentially been playing for a year or more? If the designs were done well it could also add a requirement for items created by lower skilled crafters based on people's aesthetic requirements. Rodriguez
  10. Just thought i'd put an idea out there, i'll apologise in advance if this has already been suggested. What about the idea of having a different (potentially more detailed) model based on an items QL. This could be primarily used to create different styles of housing. At worst there could be 2 models for a wooden wall with a new design at a QL of 50, or be as great as a different model per 10QL. Or a neater stone wall, and a uneven one. It could not only cover structure walls, but could potentially extend to many items including armour and such. Is this a conversation that's been had previously, behind closed doors or otherwise? I appreciate the workload to be a stumbling block, but are there any further limitations on such an idea? Regards, Rodriguez
