  4. Confirmed, I have the same issue recently: the animals randomly stops following and disappear, nowhere to be found. I managed to recover some tamed ones, by going back to the bridge and give some moving order to the animal then it reappears on the bridge... This may be related to some recent "bug fixes" regarding leading animals (which actually introduce more bugs).

  8. This is a well-known bug, and it has never been fixed (I guess WurmLauncher loads too fast and something crashed). You just need to pop up the client selector to slow down the loading and it should be fine: Use a text editor to create a text file WurmLauncher.desktop and put the following content: [Desktop Entry] GenericName=Wurm Launcher Type=Application Version=1.0 Name=Wurm Launcher Exec=./WurmLauncher -c Terminal=false Categories=Games Comment=Run Wurm Launcher with client selection Click to run the file and it will popup the client selector, just click Cancel to launch the default client and WurmLauncher will not crash. Alternatively, if you do not use a Desktop manager (like XFCE/KDE/GNOME), then you can just run WurmLauncher from the command line with option -c: ./WurmLauncher -c

  15. You can try the test server if you like, there is that Archaeology balance if I am correct. Just run WurmLauncher with option "-c" to popup the server choices.

  17. Hey Quad, they are favor items for Lib priests so quite useful actually. Also it is kind of make sense that bones last way longer than flesh... The only issue is that gob skulls are heavy so people do not collect those, although I have seen some people use them to decorate their tar tiles ; )
  18. Any idea where to try? If you remove the Examine the map for check location, please at least some alternative feedback mechanism and/or disable the "Dig for treasures" everywhere unless it is close enough to the location. Currently I can swim and Dig for treasure in middle of the ocean with a shovel...
  19. I did few test runs. The map seems unfit for testing the features: some terrains were made artificially high, clue maps are often not accurate (show water body that people already removed) or mostly clueless. The most effective way so far to hunt treasure on the map is moving around like a ping-pong ball and spam Examine the parchment... The interesting things about the Test map is sometimes you find some weird artifacts. About the rewards: they are not very useful currently. Some guaranteed star gems (even low ql) or funny recipes could be nice (cf. on the Live servers, the only ways got get a fantastic recipe is to slap a lot of trolls and goblins). Regarding the methods of obtaining the features: running around is fine, but digging and slapping creatures sound a little bit boring (and dangerous like some said). Have you thought about: Treasures at sea that requires sailing and dredging, and/or fishing. Integrating items that use lurker spells. I am quite enjoying doing missions occasionally use the lurker spell items, except it seems Lurker in Dark is nerfed (actions fail atm) for PvP reason (the nerf supposes to target Enemy player search, not creatures). Integrating the Track skill, and possibly using some animals like dogs for the purpose etc.

  21. Nice update! But will the jar decay along with the skin applied to it? Last time I checked, most of pottery items are not maintainable using repairing/improving, so they just wither away. Well, except for the forge/oven, can I apply the skin to a forge to make it look like a pottery flower instead? ๐Ÿ˜†
  22. Cacao pod and coffee cherries taking from the food bin still weight 0.05kg. Related weights that still need to be fixed (if I remember): coconut weight when made is smaller than the one stored in food bin; cocoa bean weight from planter pot is like half the weight of those found by forage/botanize.
