  2. I like how he is going to use the one that nobody has heard of or recommended...
  3. I've used Avast and AVG. Both are good. I currently use AVG and would recommend that.
  4. Gratz, MW!! Jooo still got it! ;D
  5. Portals coming up

Wait? Gold should be in your bank on Wild too. Sure about that?
  6. Portals coming up

So I can't take my items that I brought to Freedom back to wild with me? I'd have to abandon a drake set, 1.3 gold, 18 leet enchanted swords, tools, and other stuff on a server I don't want to play on. Only 10 silver to transfer eh? hmm GG -edit- I'd like to add that I appreciate Rolf giving people the option to transfer now, but... ouch man.
  7. Portals coming up

Me too! He clearly meant to type Caesar. Typos happen sometimes..

Well at least you aren't overreacting about this, Tony... It is great that the home server people trapped on wild will finally be able to go back to a home server type setting. This will be good for Freedom as the numbers have dwindled greatly since it opened. Will be nice as well for the few (and I repeat, FEW) people who have changed their minds and would like to return to wild. Of course, that is if Rolf implements that. I myself would most likely (not 100% sure) transfer back to wild given the opportunity. It's too bad I probably won't be able to bring the drake set I took to Freedom back with me, but oh well. Never really had the guts to wear it around much on Wild anyway. As for items, I think it is only right that people should be allowed to bring their possessions with them. I can understand things like scale and drake, even if I don't necessarily see it as a big problem. But if the problem people are worried about is economics, then Rolf just has to implement a way to limit the travel back and forth effectively. Like I've said before, I have no problem with items going between servers, but it seems many do. I probably wouldn't have my drake set if someone didn't bring it from the JK home server to wild, but meh.. I digress. FS nerf: meh. Hunting on Freedom is unproductive, IMO. A huge percentage of the Freedom maps consists of large mountains. The terrain is a major pain to get around and makes it difficult. After my 72fs got nerfed on wild (thanks Gavin ), I got it up very quickly on wild while playing very infrequently. Just happened to find a good spawn. I've gained very little skill on Freedom in comparison with Wild since the nerf, considering time invested. But of course this involves factors like spawn types available and general map location I guess. If anyone thinks there are tons of aggro critters on Freedom to kill compared with Wild, they are sorely mistaken from what I've seen. I hunted around Freedom for a few hours last night, and gained practically no fs. Having been on wild for 2 years, I understand the potential for PVP hindering their skill grind, but I think it's minor. People are overreacting about that, IMO. Just gotta find the right spots. Needless to say, I don't support a skill nerf. [/rambling]

We had 8k aggro out of 32k before the fix Would be interesting to know how many of those were well out of reach as well.. up on the million mountains of Freedom. Are we really going over this again? ughhhhhhh *slams head on keyboard* ;ladkjgn;lasdkg'kfj

Freedom spawns were broken just as the wild spawns were. I hope someone from Freedom can post and back me up on this. Tony, you must have a lot of enemies out to get ya. It's as they say about real war, 99% of my time on wild was pure boredom and 1% pure chaos.

Explain to me what was a mistake. I personally had no issue with it. In my opinion, the only thing that was somewhat unfair about JK having a home server from the start of the map was a means from which to recruit players easily. Yea, they could go hunt over there and kill unique mobs for rare armors and such, but meh.. didn't bother me. I was originally JK and trained on wild without ever once taking my character to home. I'm just saying that enforcing a skill nerf will turn off most people from transfering over to wild, imo. I know I wouldn't personally. So why bother implementing the ability to transfer if most won't bother using it. I don't understand the opposition against this, and they don't understand my stance, it seems. I guess we will have to agree to disagree.
  13. message to rolf

Many of those are probably out of reach up on the many (waaay too many imo) mountains. My homestead is at the base of a small mountain and the same 5-6 lava spiders have been sitting up on the cliffside since I came to the server. Havn't moved an inch from what I can tell.
  14. message to rolf

Are you just assuming the Freedom server was full of mobs to kill? If so, you are wrong. There was next to nothing to kill for a long time, just as on wild. When the mobs started showing up on wild within the last week or so.. same happened on Freedom. Something was fixed and/or changed to populate the maps with mobs again.
  15. message to rolf

It boggles my mind that people who were able to train on and travel to and from home servers freely for a very long time are calling for skill nerfs. Maybe we should make it so that any JK or MR person who engages a BLer in PVP should have their skills nerfed for the fight since BLers didn't have a home server to take advantage of. I want those people calling for these nerfs to start listing reasons why this is necessary. Give me solid reason why this is needed because I havn't read any yet.
  16. That would be retarded. I couldn't go explore on Freedom like I have wanted to without having to pay an extra 10 euro. then have a seperate fightskill for each server. fightskill should not be coming into wild from freedom. that would be retarded. It would also be retarded to allow other skills to come over to wild from freedom as well because grinding when no raids or skirmishes are happening outside your deed allows that person to spend all their time on wurm grinding said skill with no interruptions. Bank items and inventory/body items would need to not transfer over along with a skill reset to some degree. Why don't you want more people on wild? People won't transfer if ridiculous skill nerfs are enforced as you suggest. What are you so scared of? You could train freely on JKH without "raids or skirmishes". And could transfer all items back and forth. What is the friggin harm? I just don't understand some peoples stance on this.
  17. Ahh so you decided you would like to switch servers and had that option to do so? Sweet idea. We should suggest this to Rolf.
  18. Bet you were glad to have the opportunity to utilize the JK home server like that without penalty eh? The irony is thick.
  19. converted

Lol, you beat Ohh Yeah? Gotta say very nice, Ohh Yeah is good. He is clearly trolling!! I say HOTS should welcome PTO and the others. Me and my Fort Mole homies experienced a similar reaction, although at a lesser extent because we weren't PTO, the diehard JKer.. or Fev, the noob murderer. ;D (I just kid) Sometimes you need a change of scenery to create some new fun in the game. That's why we converted and it was well worth it. I think if these guys convert their JK alts to HOTS as well, maybe current HOTS members would be more convinced (if they havn't done that already). Anyway, it's not a bad thing. HOTS should be happy about their added strength. It will just take some time to establish trust, which is justified.
  20. Why, yes. yes there is. You seem to be forgetting that the reason that freedom was created wasn't just the raiding problems. It was also due to people on wild complaining about people who'd go to the home servers to train fightskill and craft stuff for wild in relative safety. Allowing people to change, even if it cost a convert, would practically allow that again (i could see people going to freedom fora month to hunt non stop to gain skill. i could see people using alts to go to freedom, buy/sell great tools and return back again. etc). So no, the only transfer i'd like to see is for people who were automatically moved to wild due to being inactive. I guess I don't see any harm in it. If someone wants to burn 2 converts to go to freedom to skill up or sell some stuff then convert back, so be it. Why would I care if some dude switches servers to sell stuff that is already readily available on that server? If someone wants to pay RL money to send alts back and forth to make in-game money.. that is their own issue. I'm sure Rolf wouldn't mind. Anyway.. I just think it would be wise to allow people to change servers. Maybe some GVers that went premium and to the Freedom server eventually want to try their hand at the PVP thing. Otherwise they may get bored and just quit. Or some dude on wild is tired of the pvp dram dramz and would rather just hang out in the chill environment of the Freedom server. Not to mention the characters from JKH and MRH that were inactive when their servers shut down and are now stuck on wild.. maybe they would pay and play if they could go to Freedom without having to start from scratch. Peeps need options, bro! Ya feel meh?
