  1. I am basically saying this tax should not apply to me. Who is ignorant now? As I said already, we are not paying in cash. Each PayPal payment has enough info to identify the payer's country. You can even check my IP to be sure the product (service rather) left EU
  2. Get over it. Exporting to countries outside the EU HMRC uses the term 'exports' to mean exporting goods to countries outside the EU. As VAT is only a Europe-wide thing, you zero-rate goods going outside the EU.
  3. Maybe. I checked www.wurmonline.com itself. Was too lazy to start the game and check the game server.
  4. Heh I don't ask to save me any bucks, I just don't like to pay taxes for anybody but myself. After all it was Rolf, not me, who said only EU citizens must pay it.
  5. Did you really read the email he sent? "This means that instead of assuming everyone is not from the EU, everyone henceforth will be considered to be from within the EU unless we can prove that they aren't. We usually can't do that since we don't keep any personal information about you on file". My point is, I am not from EU and it can be easily seen from the payment (imho).
  6. Your sarcasm is appreciated, but you are utterly wrong. Whois says servers are in Germany (Hetzner). Granted, I was wrong too. They were in USA before, but that had changed. Anyway, "Inter" in Internet stands for "international". Why would I pay any local tax?
  7. Not that it really matters to me as I quit already, but why would I pay an EU tax if I am not an EU citizen? Wurm servers are not in Europe either. I can be mistaken, but I thought you can easily see the payer's country. We are not paying in cash and PayPal even asks for your address when you pay.
  8. Hmm... What water? If you mean ocean/lake there isn't much choice. I can spend a weekend to help you. Though you can do it yourself tbh (unless you want a lake). Just get any boat.
  9. Noticed it yesterday. On GV you need 5 min to log out in no kingdom land. Near deeds it is still 1 min as it should be. Can't test it on Freedom and haven't tested it on the wild. Is it some ninja update or rather a bug?
  10. I concur. Had the same problem yesterday. With 79 skill I created 238 steep slope I can't get rid of. Can't dig it down and need lots of dirt to drop at the bottom as it will slide down. Very annoying. The real problem is, it rounds up when you flatraise and it rounds down when you try to remove it. Or maybe the check is done AFTER it is too steep already when you flatraise and BEFORE when you try to dig it down.
  11. Hmm... Barrel is too heavy to carry around (I have more important stuff to carry usually). Pottery bowl sounds better. Never knew a rug can fit into it. Good workaround.
