  4. I can see that. I think this list looks excellent. Lots of things that should have been addressed a long time ago, in my opinion. For instance certain metals really need something to do with them. Iron is the end all be all and that is unfortunate. Some spells simply suck and need improvements. But I have to ask, what do you think they should be adding? The main thing I can think that would be good for the longevity of the game, is a revamped GUI. It's far better than it used to be, but still quite confusing for new players. Heck I have a friend who didn't know there was a timer option in game and was missing the 20m faith ups. The other thing that would help is fixing or tweaking all the nit picky things that don't make sense or are just plain annoying. For instance, why isn't there a hotkey to repeat a action? If you want to continue to use the rightclick menu then please try and streamline it a bit. I shouldn't have to navigate through a bunch of menus just to meditate. If I right click on grass with no item selection I obviously want to forage or botanize, so why aren't those top level selections? I setup a rather complex set of .txt bindings so I can just switch between different action sets and use "X", "C" for most actions. This isn't a easy or straightforward solution for new people who end up doing these repetitive actions. Another thing that would be nice is being able to craft bricks from shards that aren't in your inventory. It isn't going to break anything to allow this and would save a ton of back and forth movements. Moving from bulk storage to bulk storage should also be faster. All of the new people I have played with have expressed frustration at this mechanic. It is incredibly annoying when you are going around in a large cart collecting into a large crate and you can't easily move that to a BSB elsewhere. In summary, I like the list of things they are doing here. But I think they should spend some time focusing on the learning curve, a lot of which is the obtuse GUI and the annoying time wasting quirks.
  5. Some excellent sounding changes here. If spells are looked at it'd be really nice to have some useful enchant that you can put on jewelry. Something as simple as a body buff, or stamina regen rate or something would be awesome.
  6. I just hit 30 huge axe a few days ago and I thought that was the point at which the first special moves are available. But I'm not seeing any option to use it and the wiki doesn't have a complete listing of moves. There is a full 6 moves right? I'm Freedom kingdom apparently. Is there anyway to see a listing of the moves so I know what to expect as I level?
  7. Well mature is only ~14 RL days. Aged is the longest period at ~63 days. Old is next ~35. Beyond old I think they could die whenever so should be cared for.

Yeah, I'm working on breeding, but was wondering if riding a young horse was less advantageous vs a Old/Venerable as far as capacity/speed go Ok, I wish there was somewhere in the code that I could find this Yup 300 items which makes them super useful (especially for logs), but I was more wondering what the volume of a item was. Large Crates are 1833 I think I read somewhere. But not sure what a Large Chest is. I will look in the ItemCreatorClass library, thanks for that info. The server I'm on doesn't change containers AFAIK.
  9. Does anyone know what the base carry weight of a horse is before they start to slow down? As they age can they carry more or move faster (Venerable are better fighters so)? If so does anyone know these numbers? Is there a way to find the volume and or volume capacity of a item? Specifically a large crate. I've looked and looked and couldn't find the volume of the large crate. And looking at the wiki I can't seem to find the volume for the large cart anymore. I tried looking at the code files, but it was all mush so I figured it is obfuscated.
  10. I've been away from wurm for a while and have since gotten a new computer with a Quad core i5 and a ATI 6870. Before I had a dual core with a 8800gts. Anyway, I have two characters so I run Wurm in windowed mode. Problem is, windowed mode doesn't work right for me. I can login and everything looks good, but I start getting client lag. Every 10-20 seconds the client will stop giving me graphic updates, but anything in game will continue like normal. It usually lasts for about 1-2s. Running the game in fullscreen mode resolves the issue. But I would much rather run in windowed.
