Sounds about right, however not all the east coast is safe, and much of it especially along the southern edge of the east coast is steep cliff/hillside. the middle of the eastcoast is home to several wilders (aka Myself, Shyana, Tosti, Ramoth, Wildeyedstorm, etc) and we won't tolerate anyone annoying us. the northern edge of the east coast is for the most part empty or abandoned, and less hilly.. it'd be easily adaptable for living. I wouldn't expect the people to be as annoying as you might expect, Freedomers that will come in are mostly curious on how Wild is. The only thing that might really bother wild people is that Freedomers enjoy making roads, canals and setteling at small areas inbetween bigger places. Fair enough. Although, those things would annoy me as the scenery here is wonderful... I'd hate them to ruin that.

Forgive me if I missed something here, but what about [name] Council as a representative of Wild. Where's Wild's council to debate and add to the decision making process for IT"S server? The Chaos Council consisted of only Wild players until Othob joined, it was created with the purpose of deciding on how to improve Wild. Neat, thanks as I had not ever heard of this council til the other day.

I'm for a mix of everyone's suggestions thus far, except I'm not liking any map reset suggestions. We founded a deed month or so ago, and would like to keep it.

So that everyone and their alts can have a deed. Then the game will turn into PvST (Player vs Spirit Templar). ^

Do you even play on wild? WIld doesn't need a map reset in the least... It's a huge map, and most of what you will see are non touched lands. Also, think of all the abandoend deeds that have decayed... they are pre-flattened areas with good resources nearby.. perfect for new people to move in and adapt. Why reset that? Free upkeep for size 10 deed... wtf, wow I'll just resize mine and with it being freedom, I don't ever have to pay rolf a dime! that just defies any sane logic. It's also not the BLer's that are the issue, it's the MR as they were the last added kingdom... It was meant to be JK vs BL from the start.

No. That is not viable. The Wild situation has reached a critical point, and has to be addressed now or the server will bleed out with massive discontent. Not that that scenario bothers me that much, as I want Wild to shut down, but there are real people holding those old-time characters and properties over there and they deserve to know what's actually going to happen, no matter what that ends up being. Just curious but do you play on Wild? Either way, why do you personally want it shut down? I ask cause a lot of people are saying they want Wild shutdown yet most do not say why they want it.

Agreed, I am sorry I do come across as it being for the sole of just me. I do hold resentment against Epic I suppose as that is what started this fiasco. Wild worked before hand. Suppose I do not like change

If someone sets a deed beside me and annoys me, I want the darned right to war with them, whether or not they consent. Wild being a pvp server, cannot just change to freedoms policies. Which is why Rolf is and will need to find a delicate balance for this new hybrid. Pvp zones, what a waste of time. I can already see people camping the edge of them. And as soon as one player starts winning a fight, the loser can just step out of the ring so to speak.... these will need considerable thought put behind them, such as once you enter you cannot leave for 1 minute. Some sort of constraints to avoid abuse.

You do realize that most players on freedom have zero...ZERO.... desire to make Wild a freedom server right? we already have three Freedom servers. The only people pushing for it are former Wild players that want out with their items, people that are afraid that Wild might be reset (and their towns destroyed), a small group of Wild merchants that want the border open so they can export a pile of enchanted goods and drake, and Rolf (who promised to try to keep it running but doesn't want to watch it continue to be outright empty). And the idea is only being floated because the Wild players involved in the "save wild" discussion can't put aside their petty squabbles to come up with anything better than "Let us move to Freedom" Versions 1 through 19. Seriously...the stupid trolling of the Freedom community by a handful of ignorant children is getting really old. Really tbh It's hard for me to see what majority wants wild one way or the next, every thread about it is pretty much jacked to hell. I just want wild the exact way it is now with open routes to freedom, let the freedomers come but if they annoy me I want to kill them, not have to KOS them. Soon (wow can't say p*issed, how stupid), when we wilders are freedomers we can no longer catapult our neighbors, or steal from them if we choose.... I don't like the idea of pvp zones, I have the HoTS nearby, I'd rather kill them then travel to a designated pvp zone that people will no doubtfully camp the edge of. A pvp zone that soon as I get the upper hand on a player, they will just step out of, ending our fight. A pvp zone that only a select few will that love pvp will live in, making sieges and raids a thing of the past. it's taking the wild out of wild. I feel as though Wild should be renamed to Tame after the change. On the other hand, a lot of people do have good ideas, however they are lost it seems in the, as you put it very well, ignorant children blabbering on every thread. Thanks to that there isn't much hope of the community's tongue being heard or for that matter taken seriously. I suppose I am sorry if I come off as a troll, I'm just tired of Rolf's decisions lacking the required foresight and then later affecting us, as is now. Anyway, back on topic it'll be interesting to see where this poll ends ^^

I'm not sure I get why everyone is so worried about the "market"... I've play almost 8 months on Wild from the start, I've never bought anything from a merchant. Although I have a merchant I sell from. But tbh, I've never needed to buy anything. Maybe I'm just an exception. I dunno. Edit: After thought, but I suppose it helps when you are able to raid abandoned deeds for enchanted tools... something we soon can't do thanks to you freedumbers and Rolf's listening to you. Me bitter? noooo.....

So wild should get 3x skill gain, to make it just as or more appealing then epic, as an example... wouldn't epic then get abandoned in favor of this? And if new players had any sense, they'd realize that, just like any other game, Wild has people that are willing to help them and give them the tools to succeed. I lived at the Landing for over 4 months and in that time I can't count how many tools, advice, and help I have given them. Heck, I am living at Port Benden with 2 of those examples now. Saying 2x skill gain is a reason to go to another server and shut wild down is complete rubbish.

No. Wild is my home, I like it just the way it is. sure open the sea routes and let anyone prem from freedom sail to wild, but I do not want to see non-prem toons around my village. We moved from the landing to be rid of the people coming from freedom.... now we're subjected to them all over again. I will KOS anyone coming around if they annoy us.

I for one am not one of those few, Wild is my home. Had a lot of us that have stuck with Wild left for epic or freedom, this whole thread would never have been started as the player base would have been low enough to shut it down. So I suppose everyone that wants wild to be shut down can thank me for making their wurm life difficult. ;D

Your entitled to your opinion, albeit unfortunately, but some of us on wild still enjoy it and like it the way it is now.

You know, for those of us wilders that did not leave and love wild the way it is now... we should get a freebie item. Something to pacify us during your wild > freedom change. I'll propose a spyglass/bag of keeping or something equally frivolous.

So my acquisitions business will fail, as I assume on freedom servers you cannot catapult another's village? And again, why not allow a new type of dueling ring that sets up pvp zones, by players, for players... want a war, setup a warzone yourself by your neighbor/enemy. They don't like it? They can break it down. It'd allow pvp anywhere as it is now, but is stilll limiting as the players have to manually set them up. Allow looting bodies from within these new type of dueling ring things. I for one would find setting up my own pvp zone around my village fun. Our village doesn't like trespassers >

Just a thought, but why not modify dueling rings or add something in it's likeness... and let US the players decide where the pvp zones would be... you know that'd be interesting lol. People can make their arenas, they could even go to other settlements and declare wars using them to setup warzones near settlements... forcing the opposing village to break them down. Just sounds interesting.

Bleeding players huh, well I for one intend to stay... better not freakin put a pvp zone in our deed, we just started it 1 month ago >< I'd be ok with it added to freedom as long as I am allowed to kill the annoying people that will unavoidably sail past me... Annoying people, aka many kids that can't afford prem... main reason I chose wild... thanks a freakin lot Rolf.

Personally, I could care less about epic. Doesn't suit how I'd like to play. I'm just here as I'm interested in the statistics of your poll.
