  1. No way that is possible in wurm, you'd drown within a few minutes in game. So to those who love the current realism of drowning, it isn't realistic at all. I'd propose a swimming system like this: 1) add a swimming skill (optional, could easily work without a skill) 2) the speed which with you swim depends on your body strength (and swimming skill) and on the strength and direction of the currents (see 4) 3) the speed at which you lose stamina while swimming depends on your body stamina (and swimming skill) 4) add currents, which both have a direction and speed. Preferably regional, but a copy of the current wind system would work fine. (though of course more detail in both the wind and a currents system would be nice, especially regionally) 5) add the ability to float. The chance of successfully floating depends on the strength of the currents and your body control (and swimming skill). If it fails then you lose some stamina, and depending on how low your stamina was, take a bit of drowning damage. Healing while swimming should be made impossible. 6) While floating you slowly regain stamina (rate depending on body stamina, body control (how good you float) (and swimming skill)), but the currents also make you drift. This way, if the currents were to take you to open see faster then that you could swim back to the shore, you could end up drowning. (depends on the strength of the currents, just like wind strength) I feel that a system like that would be a lot better then the current half assed swimming/drowning system and if the wind system is reused for it then it shouldn't be all complex. With this system you could swim large distances, as long as you are aware of the currents and don't go to far from the shore. The current swimming system has no real logic behind the drowning, it just seems to be in there in order to kill people. Spawning 10 trolls next to somebody, when he is out of stamina, would achieve the exact same thing as drowning does: kill people for no real reason. The slow swimming speed when out of stamina + no stamina regen, already pretty much stops people from swimming large distances, so the current swimming system doesn't benefit in any way from drowning! I am with you implement a swimming skill. We have a climbing skill so why not. make more sense.I drowned just trying to climb out of our harbor. because I did not have enough stamina to climb or swim.

  3. Hi Rolf, I came across an issue the other night which I think would have been easy to know if more information had been available at the deed token. I would like to see when and who made an alliance to my village as well as the date an alliance was broken. Also the person who made the alliance. I don't need to know when every village in wurm gets created or disbanded. Or even when any person adds money to a token. Considering the raiding and stealing going on before I think that would be critical information.

  5. There will be no MR pr Hots there. SO no matter if we look like them. I would however like to not look like a clone, maybe even just change haircolor.
  6. If the skill reset is what the people want then maybe everyone should get theirs skill set to 20 whenever they cross a server. That would be fair to all. Including those who go from JK home to wild and to MR and those from wild and MR to JK home. when you return to your own place skills go back. How would that make everyone feel. Would not make it worth it would it?
  7. I would like o see destroy outside after like 50 decay obvious that no going to be used afte that. Houses decay too fast and useless items never do. It is silly and cluttering the server and the area it is in. Maybe with so much body strength even. and only outside a building
  8. Would love to ee the option to destroy these items as they clutter the game up. SO many have been made and the houses decay. Then stuck with these all over the woods. We can destroy Houses Walls and other things. To me these items are the real problems. Or at least speed decay on items not in houses. We have had a loom outside the pyramid for over 8 months. and it is only 12 ql. Crazy.
  9. I am wondering about the travel between the servers, would be nice to have inter-kingdom trade but if everyone can just go back and forth, then the players that are PVP can come there too. I know they would be punished but not until after they destroy what they came to do, so I may still be out a house or farm that I spend time working on. Maybe trade through mail system. Most of us want to leave and not go back.
  10. Ok I got a silly question. If fences stop the guards, why are they in my fenced in farm at times? I thought they just patrol a certain area fenced or not.

  12. Hey Guys. I had 2 horses in my pen for a while. A male and female. female was pregnant. male vanished. female gave birth to a pony (looked like a bull) I know this is model fix yet. Now Female and pony/cow are missing. HELP
  13. First, I am all for a new server. I think you should be able to go to like you would have had you decided to to go MR or wild or such. WHy should I lose skill. I paid and worked for them. If I were to sail to wild on a boat I could take whatever I could fit with me. I think they should allow one return convert. Because as said some may not like the new server once they get there. the example of those who went to wild and came to home because it was not the game for them. Honestly I don't feel I should be penalized because the game changed in the middle of play. I was quite happy as JK home was once I joined. Skill gain ore cap and the like. So start there and build on it.
  14. I am sure it is all Wild Players are for this update otherwise why would anyone join a non pvp server. If you wanted PVP you would have been on wild to begin with.
  15. I think this is absolutely the stupidestthing that could have been implemented. If i wantet fight playesI would eithe have been a wild playe or played WoW or somthing. And by the way the FS is only dropped 30% so someone with 70 skill still is very high compared to me who has 6. Idid not sign up for PVP.I think it is a very bad idea. Those of us on Home (the majority of players by the way) came because this is the only community based non PVP game out there. Rolf you really need to rethink this. You hd smething cool going don't screw it up. PS for those of you Wild players who find this great its because its free stuff for you to steal. Go play WOWor something. ???
