  1. Thanks Lisabet, you know I always honor and respect you. Please do read back - at no point did I say anything against the current owner. He or she made a comment about letting him/her know what Sirlaw did. Frankly I probably would have, whether or not it was solicited. I do however put credence in the old "birds of a feather" maxim; and this "seems like it was loraine's fault totally" blame-the-victim thing kind of turns my stomach, but again, just read back, I was NOT hating on the current owner. I don't believe in sweeping bad things under the rug; the game should not allow that kind of action, and a person doing it shouldn't think they can do it scot-free. That is my point, not ever anything against a person buying a toon.
  2. No, just the attitude. And if you do something like that, you have no shame. But I absolutely agree with understanding that when someone buys an account, it is a new person and people should know it changed hands. When I posted first it was partially in fun, but also because I WILL let everyone know, and remind everyone, what that person did. It's a deterrent. But now as the thread has developed, I just see it as proving a point.
  3. TBH, I don't think that the account changed hands at all.
  4. I hadn't originally (or at all) brought up resistance. But I'm glad people did, I didn't know about it. My complaint was about nerfing Heal. Tortoises can kill trolls. People have brought them to rifts and they help but you need to keep an eye on them for heals. Zombie trolls IDK about, do you mean a Mag priest dominating one and bringing it? Ty for explaining another definition of hops. Ty everyone for the definitions of hops.
  5. As far as I knew, it had never changed hands until now. What exactly was it that you DID want people to bring up? Does he have other griefing stories you're more interested in?
  6. There is no support ruling as yet. And there is NEVER any good having secrecy in policy. Not in games, not in life.
  7. From your lips... But thank you. This time is even worse than the last!
  8. What on earth are you talking about? You know, nevermind, you frequently post after me in an unpleasant way with things that are completely unrelated to whatever it was I was saying. I have to imagine you're trying to make me laugh. Thanks for trying.
  9. Whoa, don't even. I did NOT attack OceanRefuge. And I will keep reminding, over and over, whenever someone does something like this. Of course I have more horses, that's not the point. The point is that this kind of thing can happen in this game and nothing has changed. And this kind of thing can happen, and there are people who are fine with it and find it funny. You're all simply proving my point and I thank you for it.
  10. Nah don't get the ponies. I'm going to bring it up every time I'm reminded of him. Because I'm sure while he was doing it and laughing about it with his buddies, he thought it would blow over the next day. Now people considering doing such a thing can see that it might not go away instantly.
  11. What?? Who is talking about rifts or endgames? I'm not talking about group events. I just want heal to completely heal, as it used to when this character became Fo. Also, it's worth it to bring tortoises to fights. Also, what is a hop.
  12. Sure, I'd love to see how to completely heal a newbie or pet in one go with the new nerf. I would totally appreciate it.
  13. Please. This endless tedium and forced annoying actions are not good for the game. The friend of this game's creator made over a billion dollars creating a game that was just fun to play, AFTER this game was started. This game has less and less players. Not everyone has all day to play. The theory that tedium and long actions are great is only good for a small handful of players. And even they are getting less and less. Stop nerfing please. Take away stuff that just wastes time. The grind is bad enough.
  14. At this point, sometimes Heal is not working at all. How do the smaller heals work? Do I have to dig down to a particular wound? Are those smaller heals nerfed too?
  15. Just saying... bear the concept in mind for the next time there's an unfair ruling against your favor. You feel better with discretionary rules instead of clear rules? I tend to favor everything clear and up front. There are always going to be grey areas; it's good to make the cut-and-dry circumstances crystal clear when you can.
  16. I did put in the ticket. I found it necessary to post because I've been surprised by so many rules I never saw anywhere, where highways are concerned. Like the decorative tree in the road voiding the highway, I didn't know about that. Or exactly how all of the "terminus" stuff works, and what does qualify as a terminus. Or how in one place it says you can't put doors or gates on a highway due to lag or other issues, and yet most people say it's ok and even the quote above says it's ok.
  17. No, I'm more unhappy that he ever played the game. And I will bring it up, Hoppy, until my horses are replaced or I feel like not bringing it up. If he had done it in a PvP environment I would have said nice shot. What he did was disgusting and I will let it follow him. Interesting to see that you love anything about that comment about also killing my horses though.
  18. You are correct! Not that I complained about LoF. I complained that Heal stopped working the way it used to work when Fo was chosen in this toon. When I almost killed the crab, I clicked on it, and I did not see a spell called Light of Fo. It wasn't amongst the choices, nor were the lesser type heals (cure light, medium and serious). What would happen if I cast Light of Fo next to the crab? Would it have healed completely? How does the resistance thing work in this situation? Did I have to search for particular wounds and then see cure medium etc. and do them one by one? Are those lesser heals also nerfed? I don't have time for this and I don't enjoy it. Not everyone plays the same way, desiring to be on for hours on end doing busy work, running back and forth saccing and wasting favor. Once again the dull grind to enjoyment ratio has been adjusted toward the monotonous. All the humans on earth who can bear this tedium are already playing. There will not be an influx of new players as the repetition and time wasting increases.
  19. Let me know if you feel the urge to kill 70 or so of my horses. The vibration might get to you.
  20. There's a highway straight south from Green Dog that I use. At one point, someone dropped a deed right over it. There is tons of room to the right and left of the highway, but the fences of the deed were covering the highway. I put in a ticket, and GMs came to look. They determined it was not a legal highway because at one point along the long length, there was a decorative tree in the middle of the road, with road on both sides of it. I cut down the tree and paved, and waited for the deed to drop. I knew it would because I knew the person who put it there - he doesn't tend to stick with projects. It was gone in a short time, and I went along the entire length of this highway and made it fatter, added paving in spots where it turned so there was no question that it was at least two lanes along the whole span. I put in a support ticket to ask GMs to inspect it to make sure it was a regulation highway, and they said yes. Now someone once again has dropped a deed over the center of this highway that goes straight south from Green Dog, putting a fenced-in farm pad right on it that people can't pass through. What happens now? Is there any conceivable excuse that can be pulled out of somewhere to justify letting a fenced farm field cover this major highway straight south from Green Dog? There is so much room on both sides of this highway, I just can't comprehend why a person would deed and fence right over this major artery. If someone knows what excuse there can be to let a paddock exist over a main highway please post here, so when I get a PM that says "we have bad news" again I can be prepared for what it could be. I've gotten weird unknown rules before. I wish they were all in one clear place.
  21. It's more like adapt or play a new game and quit paying for 13 deeds. And you're right, it's what I need to do. I just think it's right to give feedback before the end; I prefer customers to do that myself.
  22. I haven't cast LoF. I don't know how nerfed that is now. I was talking about Heal straight up. And now it doesn't work. More dissatisfaction and more of my time wasted.
  23. Seriously, why. Why did the priest I invested in have to be nerfed? How about making a priest where the healing abilities are chained to their channeling, and then the people who just love grinding so much can pick that priest and play that way? I have no desire to fight as a group. I don't have time for it, for one thing. So far the group fights I've been involved in have taken hours. It also appears that some fights are scheduled at certain times, which means my life would have to revolve around being in a game at a certain time. Also, group things are laggy. The game is laggy when I'm alone in one spot; when a mob of people come together, I crash a lot. Also I have not found the risk-to-reward ratio to be satisfying. Both times I went to a uniques event, the things spawned in my living room. The dragon killed me before I even realized it was in the house. The troll king killed a champ dog. Both of them did massive damage to my deed, which I fixed alone. People who were on my KoS list for griefing the area flocked back to freedom and whined to be taken off KoS so they could get loot. Then there were "rolls." I saw myself win at least one, but I got nothing. For all the death and needing to rebuild, I think I got some drops of blood or something. I'm just really not interested. If there were smaller more frequent mobs that you could discover and with a few friends decide to go kill it, and everyone got a reward, then it might be worth my time and interest. I don't get a kick out of a laggy event including people who've griefed players out of the game, risking my slowly-achieved skills to get a blood droplet. This is a sandbox. I don't have to play how you or anyone else plays. That's the point of it.
  24. Yes. (edited so it wasn't an answer like I get at work - "Should I do this or this?" "Correct.")
  25. Thank you for the kindness. But notice that I don't give a rat's a_s about these comments because they are imbecile in nature. This is a SANDBOX. There is no specific way anyone should play. There are only rules in games when there is a competition at stake, and things have to be fair across the board. I'm not competing with anyone. The only thing the devs or anyone can hope for is if I find the game amusing enough to pay for it one more time. To say "learn to play the game" or "take off your training wheels" just makes me feel sad for the person saying it. To me that says the person gauges their self-worth in how they compare to others, and that's a recipe for unhappiness. And it can lead to impaired judgment, like when a person thinks "well I've been trading many more hours of my life pressing these buttons than you have, and I'm going to show you who's boss." And then they bully newbies or smaller crowds so hard and in such an unsportsmanlike manner that the other people quit the game in disgust. And then all that's left to do is complain how there's no one to play with. I am giving feedback to people I presume are trying to run a business. Free feedback, they didn't have to hire a consulting firm to investigate why most of the workers in the company have to volunteer. I saw a comment in this thread about people taking an excuse not to play anymore. No one needs an excuse. What is being observed is the straw that broke the camel's back, and the person just finally said ok I'm done.
