  1. What server are you on? I have a load of leather armor made while a friend was grinding, if you're mainly interested in grinding yourself. I could give you sleep powders and good hides in trade.
  2. Lazy cat relatives: https://i.imgur.com/0NBfOrS.gifv
  3. This is a vyn priest. Would it be better to sell or auction? Around how much would it sell for now? Path of Love, can enchant grass. Thanks for any feedback.
  4. That's also projecting home-grown kind of feelings onto another culture. Remember the hostage crisis they had in a theater back in 2002? After like three days they said ok, enough of this sh_t and pumped gas into the theater killing whoever including more theater-goers than the total amount of terrorists. Probably in the US there would have been some ruckus if that happened, but there wasn't a big outcry there. Different sentiments, maybe less fear of death.
  5. I don't understand this idea. You can load a forge into a wagon if you're really dying to sell a high quality forge. +1 also because it would make it easier to fix up lamps along a road.
  6. Why do we have to be FORCED to do things? If your deed is paid up, why should it matter if you log in? It's better for lag if you don't. The game should be interesting enough that we want to log in. We shouldn't have to log in for chores. I'm paying to have fun, not be punished.
  7. I wish there were stronger mobs that moved slowly or kind of stayed in one general area when they spawned, and they didn't give chase, so you could spot one, come back with a few friends or whatever you needed to kill it, and the drop would spread evenly among all the fighters. It wouldn't be good if they chased, because they'd be killing everyone all the time, but it would be fun to have something hard to fight where you didn't have to organize for hours and there wasn't the unpleasantness of how loot is distributed now.
  8. Don't forget that each imp/blessing uses up two mailings, one out to the crafter/priest and one back to you.
  9. no fog mod

What?? Is this a WU-only thing? Why?
  10. I've DJed in this streaming fashion before, but usually just the songs, no voice. I have the equipment for voice but never bothered, because I didn't feel like I had a lot to say. But if there were ads to read maybe I could do that. I think I would want to get feedback regarding the songs people wanted to hear. No sense playing the wrong genre to the audience if it could be avoided.
  11. I would try listening to this. It would be fun if the DJ read news reports too. Maybe volunteer to DJ also.
  12. It may indeed be a minority of you who do it, but on the forums, there is an incessant amount of PvP players jumping into threads to rudely say things about "carebears" and "learn to play" and other such things. They are making it clear that they are PvP, and it gives a bad taste. Those PvP players who take part in the forums and aren't being disruptive or rude, there may be dozens, but they're not identifying themselves as specifically PvP. So why wouldn't players come to associate PvP players with rudeness and ignorance? It's our main and sometimes only interaction. The same goes with visitors to freedom. There has been plenty of griefing and nasty action by PvP players visiting freedom. I only personally know of two griefings that were not by PvP players. So where pattern identification is a built-in human trait, what would make a PvE player not associate PvP with a negative vibe? It's not "hurrdurr," it's "ah, so."
  13. I have to assume you're playing. And it's not one or a few. Just look at this thread.
  14. This thread should be pinned for all time. Perfectly typical.
  15. Why don't you send me some cordage so I don't care about how many times I cast? I know full threads can be boring, but I was not fighting with the animal, I hit it by accident. I suppose people who aren't fo certainly WOULD deal with a heal nerf just fine since they can't use it.
  16. Please say more. I use humid drizzle when they are diseased. Are you saying I'd get a full bloody wound heal from humid drizzle??
  17. Absolutely NOT. I'm sorry what I said in fun was not read that way, but please note you were being defensive. Why should I think that the new owner could be anything like him? But I WILL keep bringing it up regarding that guy, and any other person who does something so foul. In this case I knew the whole story without question. There was no grey involved, I didn't even know the guy before he did what he did, and people asked him to stop while he was doing it. I don't think Sirlaw comes to read it; I doubt he bothers with reading forums for a game he stopped playing. I bring it up for anyone else who gets it in their head that such an act could be a good idea. The act is not going to fade away. So you call my thread a rage thread. I asked him to tell us all why he did it. He didn't have the decency to reply. What would you suggest a person do when someone comes to freedom and kills an entire deed of horses? Keep quiet about it so the player who did it can freely carry on and do it more times to other people? Sorry, that's not my way. Sometimes people who are victimized feel shy or afraid to speak out. Who can blame them when so many people feel it's correct to blame the victim? I will speak out on their behalf. Slander is the word you use when you are lying about an act. There is no slander involved with saying what that guy did. I honestly did not think my comment would be misinterpreted. The new owner asked to be told what kind of things Sirlaw had done. I ABSOLUTELY assumed they knew about the freedom slaying; it would have been dishonest to sell the toon without disclosing that, and I hope it effected a large discount. I still think they had to know, it was just too well-known of an incident. So they asked what did the guy do, they knew he killed the horses so I made a joke about it. Then in what I've come to perceive as usual PvP-player fashion, people jumped in rudely and attacked. Sorry to those of you who are genuinely decent PvP players - your brethren who come on over to freedom and grief, or who attack people incessantly on the forums are more active and more memorable than those of you who mind your own business. And they are why most PvE players will NEVER try PvP.
  18. When Fo was chosen, when an animal was that hurt you cast heal and all was well. Cottoning the crab and multiple casts multiplies the time wasted by probably 20-fold, and forces me to use cottons on a toon that doesn't have high first aid skill because it was never needed, and it makes me use up favor that is expensive and takes time to sacrifice. Don't you see that when you tell me to waste my time and money and play some way I don't want to play that it makes me less sensitive to YOUR nerf woes? When I used to complain about stuff in BSBs disappearing from bins on deed, for absolutely no reason loons used to rush in frantically to say oh this rot is needed, the inventory is overloading the server, as if a database saying one amount was more laggy than a database saying another amount. So instead of a legitimate complaint being heard, for ages it was easier to just sit back and watch fanboys leap to the crap rescue and say it was fine as is. This obsession of saying NO, LEAVE THE BORING AND RIDICULOUS ALONE isn't good for the game.
  19. Who wouldn't want that?? But when these damn nerfs happen, instead of both sides being supportive of the issue that it SUCKS to have what small amount of entertainment there is taken away, the sides bicker against each other! And lending support to any nerf just lets the nerfs go on. Instead of bashing on me for complaining that I don't need more of my time wasted and happiness taken away due to the heal nerf, why not support me and say yeah, quit nerfing, we need this on PvP but it wasn't needed on PvE. I think the multi-story issue is sucking for PvP and I wish it was removed. I don't want to tell you to play different or suck it up.
  20. I've said this again and again: nerfs, griefing especially when it's selectively allowed by authorities, and dull grind. If there was a Mac port I'd be gone too. You made a long post saying that someone was ignorant, but you're basically saying the same thing he and I said. The code has to be split, or flags put in to allow or not allow certain actions on each side. I had no idea of the problems that multi-story caused on PvP. But if someone had posted to complain about it, I wouldn't have considered to jump into the thread and say "deal with it" "learn how to play good" and such unhelpful sentiments.
  21. Bingo. I didn't find the road when I was there but supposedly that was the plan. More time to be wasted and QoL down some more.
  22. I don't grind a lot of stuff but I do have animals. If your wife is interested in having some I can give her various kinds (on Deli). I did not post to imply that people should keep their KoS on the new owner. Although I don't agree with the sentiment that it's someone's fault if they open their deed to friends and a visitor of the friends then has access and kills all their entire herd of animals, maybe you could rethink that eh? I wish you luck with it and I think once your wife talks to people they'll know the toon has changed hands.
