  2. If you wanted to make love equal to sotg then make LT heal the biggest wound rather than the most recent lol. What's funny is Rolf said sotg would only give damage reduction in SOME situations when questioned by Wurzel. But it gives damage reductions in all situations so we know its bugged. Unfortusntely Rolf never clarified which situations if should have affected. I've never really used power path so I couldn't comment. The game needs less passive damage bonuses, they should just be activated timed abilities. Passives should be neat utilities
  3. Devs confirmed years ago they had no intention of removing them and understood it was leftover due to a bug and I'm sure was mentioned they were happy there were some items like this around.. would love for someone to find the post
  4. move sotg as an ability that needs to be activated, then move 'Fill' to be some sort of passive ability where Food/water generates when you're inside a cave or some sort of thing like that

  7. you should stay clear from permanent damage bonuses and damage reduction, the game is imbalanced in itself at the moment, adding perm damage bonus means your lower skilled players stand 0 chance in a fight. This game is built in a way it should literally stay away from these bonuses, there are no abilities within the game that allows it to be countered (spells that reduce damage reduction / attack damage for a period of time), it's either you use one (or if a perm damage bonus is put in) or the other. If you're adding these silly passives in game, there needs to be utility to remove it / counter it.

  9. it's a double health bar passive, yes ofc it's op lol, nothing will be done tho. I cba to argue with the 'ur lazy' and the 'anyone can get it' because they are the silliest arguments when it comes to balancing it with other bonuses. If people are suggesting to buff other things to be in line with it, they are agreeing it's OP. As always, the game encourages stacking bonuses because there are very little CAPS, the devs have no idea on how to balance the fighting system so the best thing to do is wait for someone to run a WU server with a custom setup, see how successful it is in pvp before the Devs will realise their system is stupid and adopt the changes.

  12. I don't mean to create a negative post, as I've stuck with the game for forever and always love to see it prosper... I haven't read the rest of the thread, but if this is the case, are you looking to remove the cost of playing Wurm Online if successful? What incentives do you have for the players of Wurm Online to continue paying premium costs to advance in the game and to purchase in game money? From seeing private servers in the past, example - runescape, I've see communities of 300 people on a server, with your ability to link servers together, the ability to tweak things within the game code are you not concerned some creative geniuses create a successful servers which take your player base away from Wurm Online because it's a hell of a lot cheaper? (one off payment) At the moment, I don't see any reason to continue paying a subscription once the one off payment goes live. Unfortunately I fear a larger player base (if 'unlimited' is successful, may not even have a larger player base anymore), centrally hosted servers (I imagine someone who owns the game can do this too), The 'no reset developer trust', and the already in place economy will not be enough to keep people with Online.

  14. I guess it all depends on the situations the devs want to cater for. Those who have the skill to participate effectively; those who want to take part, even if they are unable to do much during the fight, or to also gift priests who assist in battle. Currently, offering blood means anyone who's nearby gets loot which is easily exploited assuming they're premium, it's not a big deal other than devaluing the blood from the drop, I think the whole idea for this initially was to cater for those priests who provide additional utility during the fight. Maybe this can be worked on so if a spell is cast on someone within fighting range of the dragon, it adds a 'link' to the character for a few minutes, if the person deals damage to the dragon they are included on the kill? From the recent update, it seems like the pool of hide/scale has been massively increased, with the fact there's now 4 more dragons and a new colour been included, the likelihood of a dragon/drake spawn has dramatically increased, with the fact there's so many servers and one has an increased chance of spawning every month (and the items can be combined!) It will only be a matter of time before the market will be heavily flooded.
  15. rumour has it you get 0.25? drake/scale if you're over 70 fight skill and rumour is you get even more if you're over 90 skill? is this true? with how often drakes spawn across all servers there is going to be no need for any other armour in the game after 1 year lol, the 'freebie alts' people bring to dragons just for blood will now be skilled to 70 fight skill because it literally takes about 3 days if you lazy focus it to get to 70 skill, I've been able to get 70fs over the course of 2 days half assing it. The loot distribution previously seemed okay considering there are potentially monthly spawns, and it also doesn't matter which dragon colour you kill because the parts are combinable. Would it be wise to sell my scale set now or later ?
  16. Shame the loot changes are not PvP specific, there used to be a day where devs encouraged people to go to pvp servers

  18. yeah I like it, I was concerned about multiple small wounds but remembered by the time theres enough wounds to be effective you'd be dead anyway. Not sure about timer not being capped though.

  21. Very nice Tich. Ontop of this, sorry to try fire pvp at proposed changes - On PvP servers will it show the name of the mine door? Sometimes player will bash enemy mine door and replace them with an 'everyone setting' when setting up a trap. I suppose doesn't really matter anymore now off-deed mine doors open for everyone now but I guess it would remove the ability of a trap ondeed.
