M&B is uber. That's all I have to say.

This is one of the many game features that Book printing would indirectly create. In-game literature would become a huge game aspect in itself. It may sound silly, but a lot of players appreciate these kind of things in games. I wouldn't mind reading an ingame written book/novel to kill the time, while doing mind destroying mining labor. Somehow, this would be prefectly fit for Wurm.

Not realy a MMO, but play the Homeworld series if havn't played it before. I've yet to see someone being disappointed in it.

You don't specifically need a credit card inorder to use paypal. I used my bank account to transfer money directly to my paypal account. It needs a one time activation though. If you contact your bank, they can help you with it.

I never got the chance to play Darkfall. But it seemed boring anyway. Ever seen those raid videos? Zzz. This one seems an awesome combination of Mount and Blade and Age of Empires-ish conquest.

Good luck with waiting forever, I could give you a quote from an interview with Rolf where he says that the game will never be truly finished, it will always be changing and evolving. Agreed, and for the same reason: God knows how many nerfs, updates and changes there will be from 1.0 to 1.5? There is a diffrence between having finished the basics of a game, and having updates that adds features without changing these basics. You are confused between these. Right now, we have religion, which still has to undergo a change, fix whatever. Fighting and boats both seems half finished and mounting needs his tweaks aswell. When I speak off 1.0, I speak of that game that has all the features but finished. Ofcourse after 1.0 there will be 1.1, 1.2 and so on. But supposedly, these versions should not alter gameplay basics. Also look at World of Warcraft, and LOTRO for example. They have expantions aswell, but do you see them changing the gameplay. I don't think so. Emerald, you got a point and I'll leave it with that lol.

I can understand that. I'd like see this aswell. But unless you havn't raided a town before, you can't understand how much of a pain this little change can be. 2 Tall walls are easy to knock down. Be it 2 walls of a stone house, it will be SO MUCH HARDER. Yes, harder. Tall walls suck compared to stonewalls of an house.

Right now would be an horrible time to reset. God knows how many nerfs, updates and changes there will be from now to 1.0? And all of those will piss certain people off. Can't be helped, changes arn't fun and specialy when they mess up your skill whom you have spend so many hours grinding in. But they are needed. So people now can just quit. Just like that. Nobody is forced to keep playing. I was told to and I did. Now I'm waiting untill this game is done. I have repeated this so many times, so I'm letting someone else do the talk now. End of discussion.

I doubt Rolf is going to advertise a game to attract massive ammounts of players, only to be chased away by those several whining individuals with huge skills and better experience. If he's 100% certain on making a new start, which is fair for everyone, letting everyone keep thier skills is the last thing he would do. Besides, for the ones who forgat, who plays now will probably recieve trinkets and get thier premium time back. So what's the big issue? I also played/paid for 3 years this "golden" beta. Eventhough the logic might be off, the ones playing now decided to do the same. Which is, playing in a paid beta. So who is stupid, me? Because I wait till the game is actualy finished? Or you, who is paying premium for an unfinished beta. And the paid beta isn't my idea, go talk to Rolf for that.

Actualy, it's pretty hard not playing wurm. Version 1.0 better be comming somewhere this year!
