  1. Skill threshold and low success rates can both be overcome by senseless spamming.

    There need to be better ways to make fine items difficult to manufacture.

    Perhaps they would require 50 skill and 75+ql materials.

    ie. With a 75ql shaft and a 75ql pickaxe head you have the option

    Create -> Pickaxe xx%

              -> Fine Pickaxe xx%

    Any good?

    This would make them hard to make and would make them difficult to spam. Just an idea thrown up there...

    Would also mean Home Server would have to import fine items (that require at least 75ql metal to make, would not include carpentry items) from the wild server to increase fine items' value and rarity.

    Making things harder isn't going to work anyway. Doing it this way basicly means that bigger towns get more advantage. I'd say every player with high skills should get a fair shot at it.

    My idea explains basicly how to prevent tool spam and having everyone getting even chances.


  2. I've got a very good way to slove this problem.

    You should get a certain chance to recieve "inspiration". With this happening, you get the option, create fine -item-. Once you have succesfully made it, the option dissapears untill you get new inspiration.


  3. Since not everyone has the time to cook meals, I'm suggesting to have the option "eat rock".

    This feature would allow you to consume the rock shard in order to get your food bar filled to 50%. So meaning, it would be an alternate way to get around in your daily wurm lifes.

    Altough, there will be a ristriction. Rocks are only eatable when at ql 70 and higher, and eaten by miners with 70 skill.

    Discuss what you think of this idea.

  4. Yes, this makes me wanna type a story of mine aswell.

    Two weeks after gold 2 was up, a group of Asgardians went for a trip to the WL, consisting of a toast, a sp and an aza. Ofcouse, me having little to almost no experience in pvp, was very excited. We managed to get to the WL in a hour or so. Although, it was swarming with boars. I never seen a hostile kingdom animal before, thus forgat it's aggro range.

    While being a stone throw away from the WL, I got ganked by 2 boars and a tg. Sp and Aza died a horrible gank death aswell, but putted up some fight.

  5. It might be just me but..

    When I first started out, wurm was a much cooler game then it was now, thats just because I didn't knew everything. I figured everything out without the help of a wiki, occasionally asking people in local. Or rather get a rl friend to play this with you and experiment.

    The game gets rather boring if you know everything.


  6. I think gems are way to common to enchant items and weapons permently. Either have it make a temporary effect, or have it's spell effect decrease it dramasticly while using.

    But star rubies should summon red dragons indeed +1.


  7. Can we get a fix on doors? It bugs me that some other person can go though a door that fysicly is closed for me but open for him. Pressing the fact that this is a simulation, I hereby demand it being fixed!

  8. I suggest you all get your alts sorted quickly over the next few days. Yes they can login.

    You better get used to this as when wild is premium only you wont even be able to have an alt deed holder.

    Unless it's a premium alt (think priest)?

    Premium alts are not illigal...

    ..but sure they can be a pain in the butt aswell, certainly considering people paying them just to grief/spy/pm(lol).


  9. You'll survive.

    The old fighting system was "click on this thing, then wait for either you or it to die".

    Anything is better than that.

    I might speak of previous experiance in pvp and other fighting. But I was doing a hell lot more of clicking in the old system then the new.


  10. I rather see a catapult doing more collateral damage on the tile. People still can repair the walls, but with more risk.

    And weapons with rt and fa spells are very common indeed, which would making a seige from very difficult to very easy.
