  1. +1 since we have linden without any use other than "wood"
  2. Thanks!

I'm sad seeing you step down but also understanding what you are saying. Thank you for all your work! ^^
  3. where do you guys even see teammembers leaving???
  4. add an item count at top of inventory and an "expand folder/container" for subcategories in inventories. Sometimes I only want to see all the items within specific containers and currently we only have the option to either expand everything inside the inventory/parent container or to manually click the + icons.
  5. embellishment with gems sounds generally like a great idea!
  6. I love the idea of having to provide for them! ❤️ I could even see this as possible expansions on skills we currently have, like changing animal husbandry to husbandry or to add new skills (honestly, why are taming, husbandry, milking not part of the same category?)
  7. Pretty sure we still don't have those.... they are big and impressive and pretty much a luxury item, so why don't we have them in marble yet?
  8. I think, so far all the type of humanoid NPCs we have, have very specific functions that would look weird if there wasn't a person behind it, but I think when it comes to decorative, I would rather see something like "enslaving goblins" whom could perform some of the really low effort but tedious tasks on deed. either visually to fuel and light lamps as example or with an actual function like making certain bulk items very slowly. I do feel wurm is missing out on some potential uses for taming/dominating and humanoids in general...we can "capture" horses and such and breed them, but not humanoids.
  9. I would like to see a system implemented where we could make our own Icons for alliances to proudly display with Banners, on shields and flags and wagons etc. Either as custom designs (more work for quality control) or to give us a set amount of designs to choose from, which would be dyeable aswell. Please make this happen ^^ p.s.: please also give us plain wagons without any design.
  10. ravenous hell bunnies? Hell cows which can be milked for tar? (or extra spicy milk) sheep that could eat your soul?? Maybe also some firebreathing chicken Hell yeah! XD
  11. if it's done the same way as with wagoner, that it would take the appropriate amount of time similar to as if someone sailed themselves and costs coins regarding to distance and amount (or both), I don't see why not.
  12. considering we also have some humanoids which seem to display some sort of culture and crafting skills, I would also welcome getting things tied to specific creatures. Like have goblins carry occasionally piece of cloth, crude tools and unidentified papers (scribbled notes) have trolls carry pieces from animals they hunted (bone necklaces?) or a leg they just munched on. Also tools and similar to goblins. It should make sense in my opinion, but would love to see more immersive friendly content in that direction ^^
  13. it's just, some people might not want that kind of excitement, but we aren't given a choice about that, because it's in pretty much everything you do in wurm. and i don't care if only the visual and audio cue are an option for me, as long as i don't have to get that jolt of anxiety anymore. (excitement and anxiety are quite close together)
  14. It should have been at "Mags Scar Brewery", cared for by Farelle and it does have a nickname: "Broodmother" and is fully black, not sure if it had a rare trait, but I know it had atleast 4 speed traits.
  15. that only works for branded animals. Since my deed fell due to inactivity, it's not branded anymore.
  16. I'm only looking for Lightningkim now, have uncared for the rest ^^ cause it has some sentimental value for me.
  17. Could you please add "To The Sleeping Hellhound" at 49Y 27X?
  18. I have been noticing that for some reason distant terrain is not rendering as it should when I'm using modern renderer and it always looks like there is massive fog in the distance. It seems to be worse the higher in altitude I'm at. Not sure if this is specifically a problem on my side, but I have been told that others don't see it this way. As comparison modern renderer: legacy renderer: every settings is identical between those 2 images except for switching between legacy and modern renderer...
  19. going out of your way to quote peoples post from a different thread, calling them a "possible" liar IS targeting, no matter how much you try to wiggle your way out of that. My post about keeping the game close to it's original, was also including adding features and extensions to games in the same spirit of the old game. And btw. even if you keep repeating that this suggestion would be akin to GPS it doesn't make it true. GPS would be like a constantly updating minimap on the side of your screen, not a vague estimate, which you can get from using a skill once in a while while travelling, probably even needing to stand still for it to work, similar to compasses. The way you formulate your argument (and not in spirit of the post you quoted from me) makes it sound as if ANY change to the game should be abolished, especially if YOU personally disagree with it being in the spirit of the game.
  20. what the hell man, way to cherry pick what you want to read/interpret into someones post. If you don't like a suggestion someone made, just say so and leave it at that, don't go after people who are disagreeing with your opinion.
  21. +1 if we can estimate treasure locations like this, I don't see why we shouldn't get this for cartography aswell. Would possibly help newer players or those who are more directionally challenged without being a literal minimap with player marker.
  22. when not having a horse or other mount to fight from: getting above an enemy through slopes, is giving the same kind of advantage in combat (visible in combat window on the bottom icons) others mentioned the training dummy, but they didn't mention: if you make one of those, i think skillgain was limited to up to 20 fighting skill and you need to equip a shaft or something similar non weaponry, so the training dummy doesn't get as much damage. cutting down trees with certain weapons can give you skill in those weapons (can only confirm 100% for longswords though) generally it would be good to familiarize yourself with using wurmpedia, to know which creatures you can or can't fight and take the creatures skill level suggestions without any modifiers, aka aged, old, venerable, fierce, slow etc. are all modifiers that make creatures stronger (young, mature etc. are "normal" strength)
  23. yeah and there are a few other offenders too...wurm has quite a mismatch in terms of sound volume
  24. I would like to have a setting to turn those off, because I find them frustrating when it fails and jarring because of the sudden noise. alternatively I would like to have drumrolls only after a successful roll, but as mentioned in another thread, not everyone would agree with that.
