  1. they want to add castles to the game and therefore they have also new doors for castle like structures....wondering when they implement it...

  7. as I said, I don't mind if anyone alters those ideas to the preferred way it's just a "basic" idea, that no one(with the ql) has suggested yet and could be altered in any way

  9. how about making an extra database for "young" animals, seperated from mature ones and above? that means: horses can still give birth, but the young ones won't get any older until the cap is free again... another thing I could imagine is: that breeded ones and wild horses should be handled seperately anyway....so those which are tamed and hold on a deed are not counting as "free non-aggros running around in the world" and so everyone could breed as many as they want and still wouldn't change anything to the overall "wild" population. just in case: i Don't mean the "wild server" with "wild".... I'm sure there are other solutions also....
  10. the difference is, that you can't go through, as won't horses as example. It's a bit difficult to build a stable atm tbh^^
  11. I've never played farmville, neither will I ever play it.... I love wurm, because of it's massive amount of freedom and self-realization, creativity and community. Because we can change our enviroment, together or alone alot more than in any other game. I love it, because this game is fully costumizable in character development AND your enviroment and how you use your enviroment. and ALSO because of it's RPG elements ( and yeah I know there are no quests YET), but still, players are interacting to gain similar things as quests(just look at all those villages, where newbies get the "quest" to help building up the community) there are also monsters, a living enviroment, also influenced by the players. Btw I like the idea of bashing animals and stuff, like they do in real life also, but it should follow some more rules than just "bash everything the come through" not every wall is the same and in real life, animals can crush fences too, but not everyone. Tall stone walls ARE something made to protect us. Anyway....I love this game and I don't believe it will become farmville just because a mobs aren't aggro enough and aren't destroying enough, people have build up.... seriously, before those updates, wurm wasn't less wurm, just because monsters couldn't bash walls or?

  13. we should stop complaining here and start adding suggestions to the other part of the forum. Some already did, and as far as I can see, some nice suggestion are made here too, just for the sake of goodness, please post it somewhere "Structured" and good to read, so rolf can consider doing it. (as you sure know, he won't read every single side of this thread)
  14. could be also interesting to make "walk passages" on freedom market would be only for decoration, but would add a more realistic feel to it, cities would look different also and stables with locked in horses would be nice^^
  15. still there is my own suggestion NOT regarding any guards, what do you guys think about adding ql as an option?.... I still think it should be rewarded to have a high skill in something.
  16. i know someone who used the "kos" system to get rid of some people who destroyed streets and made them unpassable....after talking to them for a dozen times..... there are both side...good and negative, good thing is: kos system can't be used to lure guards away from a deed so animals can break in...and people who were randomly kosing arent able to do that also... negative: you can't get rid of annoying people....-.-
  17. we could add a new tile to the game: cutted or cared grass ----> you have to rightclick a grasstile, with a sickle or scythe activated and cut the grass XD just for the optics and then you can plant flowers with the old texture XD

  19. actually like that the new sand is a bit darker than the old one, but it also looks like the new sand is always "wet", is it possible to make sand shifting appearances, depending on what tiles they are surrounded/bordering with?
  20. you mean like: guards are reacting to the perimeters also? would be a possible way to solve some things, yeah. But still there is the problem, that guards could get distracted by animals...maybe (I don't know how far they follow now) after going out for...say 10 tiles, they are heading back again to the center of the deed?

Regarding to our newest updates, I have a suggestion to make, which maybe helps to stop senseless fence bashing from mobs(because some people have more trolls around than others) make it actually worth it to own a deed AND have a high skill in masonry. I could imagine, that mobs can bash through bad build fences and everything lower than stone walls. So my suggestions are: -tall stone walls can only be bashed by uniques -iron fences can only be bashed when under 20 ql -small stone walls can only be bashed when they have a low quality(maybe between 1-30) -everything else, like wooden fences, can be bashed easily, except wooden fences with an average quality of around 60(?) and for the cave bugs: as someone else mentioned it would be nice if cave bugs had their own "tunnelsystem", so they can invade other mines, but still don't destroy the overall cave structure. They just left little holes into the walls (and maybe reduce whats possible to gain from this source) the other idea would be , to make fences and stuff actually possible in caves, not only to protect yourself from them, but also so some people wont just fall into an unwanted dropshaft..... so my suggestions for this are: -cave bugs make only little holes into walls, don't destroying the current cave sytem by players or -give us fences to protect ourselves from falling into dropshafts, to structure mines and protect us from incoming mobs from other caves
