    Well, here at the impalong site we are just about ready, everything prepared, just a spot of tidying up and last minute finishing touches.

    I have totally enjoyed the past few weeks spending time preparing this area - shaping and reshaping, building/tearing down and rebuilding. However none of this could ever have happened without the help of some of the most amazing wurmians. Some of you have come down and spent time dropping off items, some have mailed items and then some of you have been here as much as I have. Thank you all, youre amazing :)

    For those that almost live here now, I want to give you a personal thank you! You listened to me complaining when things didnt go right, you put up with me going afk on you while you made support beams (wasnt intentional of course ;) ) and you have become my very best friends. I have never laughed as much, youre a crazy bunch, but that's why I love ya!

    Alot of the major construction is now complete. As soon as the bsb's and storage barrels/chests are done we will need to start storing all that shiny ore that will be needed to help the imping crew. So any keen miners out there who might want to spend a day or two here at the impalong site (Festival Cove) filling the bins head on down.

    We plan on trying to help out the priests that will be coming by stock piling some saccy items, donations of these items would be very much appreciated

    Yes its connected to the Freedom Market/Arken Road.

    I am also hoping to get a small coastal path made linking the area to the Freedom Docks for those that prefer to walk from the cave canal. It will take only a few minutes to walk from the impalong to go and visit Santa at Freedom Market (thats if Rolf has forwarded your Santa letters to the big guy) while your tools are being magically improved.

    That's right, it may be the end of August but the area has not been prepared yet and considering most players are busy with their own places, might only be able to spare a small amount of time to help terraforming, housing, bsb's etc.

    I wanted to get the notice out there early so people can start to think about what they would like to help with, or even if they would like to start something up themselves to tag on to this project.. maybe a treasure hunt or competition of some kind?

    Ok if any of you out there have been hiding under a rock and not heard about the Freedom Xmas Implalong here are the details!

    Venue:-

    Festival Cove (which can be found on the community map)

    Date:-

    Starts 20th Dec and will run for a week, maybe beyond if anyone wants to stay over for the New Year too

    This event has been held each year. It is purely player made with alot of time offered by the community to gather around and offer help to each other. Blacksmiths/Weaponsmiths sweat over burning forges, Leatherworkers sew until their hands are covered in blisters and Priests ..well priests stand around and fish ;)

    Even if you cannot offer great skills, just pop down to the site and meet people, have fun taking part in some little competitions we have here too.

    reports of an issue with clear orders staying linked to the previous pet. Still get the message "no longer your pet" but when retamed a new one, it goes aggro again, click clear orders and it clears the orders of the previous pet. Relogging cleared it, but then upon taming another new pet, the same issue came back. Tested and we can replicate the bug exactly.
