  1. I do not see your problem to be honest. The bridge decay is probably based on the same things as house decay. On deed: no decay if upkeep is above 1 month. Off-deed: slow decay if player is active, fast decay if player is inactive. It doesn't matter who builds a house on a deed or who doesn't. The deed upkeep and activity of the player matter. So long as your bridge builder (main account in your case), keeps logging in every 4-6 weeks or so if I remember correctly you shouldn't have any super decay issues.
  2. A while ago I checked my Armour Smith title vs. the Platesmith / Shieldsmith title and it was clearly having no effect. I am sure most people know that quote above from the /titles window. Now, I am not sure if overall Armour Smithing titles not having an effect on the subskills is intended, but I think considering how hard it is to get the overall ones they may as well provide the bonus. If it's intended... Then I guess lock this.
  3. -1 If chickens, hens and roosters had an actual use, then maybe.. but currently they're more like a decoration in the forest. They simply take up numbers for other useful creatures to spawn. At least that is my point of view. Yours may differ.

  5. These nice whetstones here are left-overs from a free give away within MR. I thought before I'll just leave them to rot... I can give them away to people who need them! So.... the next 9 people bumping this thread with some nice words will receive a whetstone (COD). Rules: 1 per person only. Note that you might need an alt to receive it, if you have been on Chaos and are not MR.
  6. Memory leaks from traveling are bad. Like really bad. After traveling a certain distance my client starts to freeze when I move around, it starts happening like every 2-3 tiles, then it can get so bad that I cannot even move a single tile anymore.
  7. Bare with me, as I am not trying to take sides here. I've lately had the chance to play a bit with the sceptre of ascension and scale of libila. So I'll try to give some non biased information. As far as I can be non biased. This is partly true - the artifacts are fantastic, but aren't higher QL. They're still 90.00, unless you meant the effective QL due to being fantastic. The sceptre deals some nice damage, I can't deny that fact. However, it is not unique in the amount of damage it deals. It can be compared to a high quality huge axe with a nice damage enchant (FB, FA, RT - make your pick). Thus it's nothing special so far - however - being one handed so you can still wield a shield and protect yourself is a benefit over other weapons. If I was to rate the sceptre on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 underpowered, 10 overpowered) I'd probably go with a 4. It would be nice if the 'Use' function on the sceptre wasn't bugged and cast aggressive phantasms on yourself though. The scale, a 90 Ql fantastic medium metal shield. It doesn't need buffing at all if you ask me. It's just nice. The drawback here is that it is a medium shield and barely anyone skills that one up, but that is a player choice and no reason to change it to large shield or anything. If someone wants to make use of the scale in pvp he'll have to skill it up.
  8. Title seems misleading to me. +1 to the actual topic of being able to load crates from any position in the boat if you can examine them. Though as I said the topic was misleading. I thought you wanted like a 3 tiles range to grab any items from and i'd think that would encourage theft and also be a stupid thing for pvp servers.

  11. As Gary said - being priest sucks. You may think they are OP in the PvP field - well that's why they've those nice spells. On the other hand, they are nerfed on the fields of crafting etc. If there is no pvp a priest usually sits around, they've 1 (or in Libs case 2) gathering skills and thats about it. Just think about it.... do you want to be mining, cutting wood or digging all of your wurm life? On top of that - priest gain characteristics even slower than non priest accounts. Personally, I am fine with SotG as well. I don't see the issue. And NO I am not on the path of insanity. I'm lvl 12 on knowledge. I see it as fair game that SotG players have a 50% dmg reduction while they are fighting me. On the other hand, I've 25% increased skill gain. Always. In my eyes that is far more profitable - to me at least - as I live on Chaos but join the pvp front only now and then. It may vary for other players, but for myself I could never fight enough to make up the loss of that 25% increased skillgain. And in the end... everyone is free to get SotG or priest... or even both.
  12. You should consider 15 active players your absolute minimum anyways. You will need that much to get your deed built, secured and possibly defended. If you have 15 active players, you will likely have 20-25 premium accounts anyway as many players have (priest) alts with them. If you want to be sure on the ingame mechanics regarding this, I'd suggest you browse the game release notes on the wurm wiki.
  13. That is a nice offer. I am happy with my towns ship builder though. Don't be afraid of coming over to Chaos though, if someone takes you up on it. Check it out yourself and ignore the horror stories that rotate on Freedom. Leaving your most precious items at home, is a good idea nonetheless.

  18. I encountered some weird bug. It appears that when a building is set to "allow citizens to enter" any citizen can add walls and build them up, for instance, plain stone walls. However, to build any 'fences' such as stone parapets the person needs to be added to the writ. I believe any person not added to a writ shouldn't be able to build anything.

  21. The template kingdoms do not truly exist though. So right now it is: MR, JK, BL, Ebo and HOTS. That would make up to 15 champs, which indeed seems a lot. But like mentioned above, it will usually still be a 3 vs 3 fight. But of course that number would be open to change if more PMKs were to find their way onto Chaos. At the end you still need players who want to be a Champ of, though! An alternative could be that each PMK would have a minimum of 2 champs and the 3rd slot would only become available if the player numbers have a fair ratio. How that formula would be calculated is hard to say. So I am just throwing this idea in here as it is. But for instance, if there were 10 kingdoms and one kingdom would alone take up 30% of the player numbers that would only leave 7.7% for each other kingdom if distributed equally. This is just a theoretical scenario, but in that case the superior kingdom shouldn't be allowed a 3rd champ slot. However, it is very hard to determine this as there are much more factors that come into account here (average skills and equipment for instance).
