  1. This is the unfortunate line of thinking that's common in a situation like this. You feel voilated and hurt and pbeing told it's your fault doesn't help even if it's true. You need to stop, take a break and come back fresh. Don't bite back at people that are good players and claim that they aren't good people for telling you the way the game works. What might help is looking at it from the prespective of a season player. This may not have been done with malicious intent. Deeds disband and new players quit all the time, often leaving behind a wealth of items that will otherwise just sit and decay. Most players, good, friendly people, will take advantage of this. There's no reason not to, why let something sit and rot when it can be put to use or given to newbie villagers. Most try and be certian that there is no activity in the area. If your building looked abandoned then it's easy to see why someone would have thought it was and took what was useful. I was going to offer to replace what was taken but unfortunatly you are on Release.
  2. In the same vein, I accidently ended up on the second floor of a building, wagon and horses, by selecting embark rather than unload. Climbing down to the first floor and embarking again thankfully returned the wagon to the first floor.
  3. They're nice for marking out the relative locations of reasources for alliance newbies but other than that not incredibly useful for all the reasons stated here.
  4. That's wonderful to hear, thank you for the program and keep up the good work!
  5. AGAIN?

There was heavy lag that was steadily getting worse on Cele for a few minutes, it's slightly better now but still lagging.
  6. Yeah that seems to be the case, did some more testing with weight and other items, limited dirt and sand but allowed me to transfer bulk crops from the fsb, didn't hit my body weight limit before it said "There is not enough room for anymore items." So it's not weight based. I imagine if the item limit was changed it would work with just dropping items from your inventory into it as well.
  7. Apologize if this is known/not an issue, I did not find any info on it. I have noticed that I'm able to exceed the 100 item limit in backpacks when dragging items out of bsbs and fsbs directly into backpacks. While using the backpacks to store crops as I was harvesting my fields, the 100 item limit remained for potatoes and corn. While testing this bug I was not able to add items from piles on the floor.
  8. The argument that you can't afford to play when you have the time to do so is nonsense, this game gives you so much more leeway than most games on the market. Let me give you my situation for comparison. I've gone through two major money draining and stressful life events since October, for two months I had neither the time nor the money to play. I was then and still am living off of $400 a month from my parents to feed and clothe as well as pay for internet and gas for my sister and I. There is zero financial wiggle room. We do not have the ability to go, our only source of entertainment coming from the internet. I'm back to being unemployed at the moment so I have the time but obviously not the money. You know how I pay for wurm? I farm, it requires only an hour of my time everyday and I make enough silver to afford two premium accounts a month. I've also made bulk planks bricks and mortar, putting in four hours of effort to make either 4k planks or 2k B&M, either way making plenty of silver in a very very sort amount of time and I'm pushing myself to get things done and out of the way for my own projects, you can take your time. Point is, The game can basically be F2P, making silver is very easy and with basic skills and equipment, fast. You're on Cele, so am I, the economy here for these things is great so you will never be lacking for customers. I feel like you've been given an inch and are asking for a mile.
  9. It's okay sweetie, you can say butt on the internet. You can also stop punctuating sentences with "lol", unlock the caps of fury and act like the grown man in your avatar, which I sorely hope isn't you given your childish posts. No one's happy the game is down, least of all the team that worked their butts off to get the patch out only to have what should have been fun day for them and us dashed by a troll. The last thing either the team or the players want right now is another troll on the forums. Take a chill pill. There's bigger and better things to rage about in life.
  10. Laughed so hard at the title of the thread and even harder at the gif, thank you! That gif is a perfect reenactment of the stress test that new baby hamster is about to get.
  11. This has been talked about to death each time a DDoS happens. Several posters pulled up great examples that I sadly can not find at the moment about the cost the kind of protection you're speaking of runs. Centers that offer protection for the level of attacks Wurm has suffered from and companies that do nothing but offer DDoS protection services, all on top of server expenses, can become incredibly costly. I'm sure most hosting centers have some level of protection, but I guessing a basic $300 a month for coverage against a 2gb/per second attack isn't going to help here. (numbers pulled from first google result.) Edit: Found it http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showpost.php?s=ad5faf3c73b1e3db71a4ae09b5145ef8&p=7320181&postcount=8
  12. Thanks for the update, I'm really glad you took this opportunity to transfer hosting. Why have more downtime than necessary when you can nip it in the rear now. As far as the speculation that this DDoS is the result of someone wanting SB for wagon's goes, while I wouldn't doubt someone would be silly enough to do that because they might miss the chance to have it day one (Inspite of the fact that the 40 FC requirement has been public knowledge since at least December and if you can't get 40 skill in that amount of time you're doing something wrong.). I'm of the mindset that it's just a troll getting their jollies at depraving people of their patch day fun.
