  1. [21:47:14] <Salacia> adaen... aosp can't be cast on jewelry. [21:47:43] <Shamank> but what if a troll hits you in your jewels?
  2. <Spacy> Pants are always optional
  3. Lunalong 2021

Discord link seems to have expired.
  4. There are bigger issues that Devs should be spending there time on. This is a minor annoyance on the PvP server that is meaningless compared to how OP religion has become in the game.
  5. More on this, downgrading to X.org from Wayland solves it. Wurm regular client runs when booting to X.org.
  6. /WurmLauncher -c isn't working for me, I get the same SIGSEGV error. Using the debug client gives a bit more info: ~/download/wurm-launcher> ./WurmLauncher -c Runtime path: /home/USER/download/wurm-launcher/linux64/runtime/lib/amd64/server/libjvm.so Working Directory: /home/USER/download/wurm-launcher Number of options: 10 Native libs: -Djava.library.path=/home/USER/download/wurm-launcher:/home/USER/download/wurm-launcher/jcef-natives:/home/USER/download/wurm-launcher/linux64/runtime/lib/amd64Create java VM! java.library.path: /home/USER/download/wurm-launcher:/home/agd/download/wurm-launcher/jcef-natives:/home/USER/download/wurm-launcher/linux64/runtime/lib/amd64 java.class.path: /home/USER/download/wurm-launcher/client_live_-_debug.jar sun.java.command:null OS: Linux [LWJGL] Version: 3.2.3 1.2.0 [LWJGL] OS: Linux v5.12.4-2-default [LWJGL] JRE: 1.8.0_211 amd64 [LWJGL] JVM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM v25.211-b12 by Oracle Corporation [LWJGL] Loading JNI library: lwjgl [LWJGL] Module: org.lwjgl [LWJGL] Loaded from org.lwjgl.librarypath: /tmp/lwjglagd/3.2.3-1.2.0/liblwjgl.so [LWJGL] Loading library: glfw [LWJGL] Module: org.lwjgl.glfw [LWJGL] Loaded from org.lwjgl.librarypath: /tmp/lwjglagd/3.2.3-1.2.0/libglfw.so (WurmLauncher:29775): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 19:14:08.204: gdk_x11_display_set_window_scale: assertion 'GDK_IS_X11_DISPLAY (display)' failed # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007f29469bcb2c, pid=29775, tid=0x00007f286011f640 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (8.0_211-b12) (build 1.8.0_211-b12) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (25.211-b12 mixed mode linux-amd64 compressed oops) # Problematic frame: # C [libX11.so.6+0x31b2c] XInternAtom+0x3c # # Core dump written. I run a dual-monitor setup, wondering if the other folks who don't get the old-UI version to work have the same?
  7. Tried this on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. It runs the installer, fetches the JRE and dependences, then dies trying to create the sandbox. 0526/201742.728287:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(374)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process. Bumped for returning old player
  9. Sad news, and I share the sentiments that so many colleagues have so aptly stated. Duce was the only guy I know of who tried breeding dragons back when Kyara had captured both the Black and White. He didn't succeed, but the screenshots were epic! I hope your wish came true, my oddball friend.
  10. This is as it should be. What you are describing as a "raid" is actually a "siege". Attacking a capital city that has been fortified over the past 4 years should not be possible as a "fun afternoon jaunt." It should take a week of continual, grinding and boring effort. Raids are for small, undefended deeds. Sieges are a test of will between the attacking group and the crafting ability of the defenders. Wurm has always been a balance between crafters and warriors, and the dirtwall/longhouse is the ultimate protection the crafter can make. Nerfing longhouses so warriors can have a leisurely afternoon sacking of a major city is just wrong.
  11. -1 The only reason the first Wild server got reset was (um) backups
  12. I dragged a cart to the 2nd floor of a building, stopped dragging and embark the cart as commander. Then loaded a bed. The cart disappeared and none of the ground tiles (building's second floor) had a disembark option. I had to log out and log back in to drag the cart.
  13. Thanks for this! I've installed the MS fonts and will need to hunt down the font causing the problem. Just installing the package isn't enough to get things working.
  14. Not running Windows, so most of that thread doesn't apply. Disabling the AI doesn't make any difference.
  15. I just installed the newest version of Oracle java (1.7.0_55) and I get the same result.
