    Asked Annuile to make a very specific dye.

     

    After 10 minutes of back and forth with mailing, we found the right color.

    The mechanic that OP suggest is people can choose one items from the five items, that's 100% to get the the glimmersteel cutlass.
    U probably have to work more to get the glimmersteel cutlass under the current mechanic compare to what OP suggested. IDK may be work more to have silvers to trade with others. Or make more alts?
     

     

    But what if I might want a Seryll Cutlass? Imagine you had to, as you say, make a new alt, you've just spent the last 3 weeks gathering up maps and just completed the final step of the last map, you click claim and get....the exact same thing you got last time. Would you be annoyed?

    Did 2 difficult maps and the both had hidden mobs. They really aren't special they are just regular mobs that disappear when they die. 

     

    That's what others found too, but the patch notes specifically say that challenging maps have mob spawns. I know what hidden mobs are, it's the only way I can complete the journal on my priest short of getting 30 toy making to make a chess set.

    I don't know if I've just been extremely unlucky, but I've done somewhere between 10-15 challenging treasure maps, and haven't gotten a single hidden creature spawn. The only maps where I have gotten a spawn has been the one difficult map I have done.

     

    According to patch notes, Challenging maps will have decent sized and not infrequent combat challenges, but from my experience, this has never been the case.
