  1. You can no-longer use level to place dirt on rock in order to raise it, neither from standing on flat rock and selecting level on the next tile, nor selecting level on the boarder. This can be overcome by dropping dirt on a corner changing the tile your trying to modify to dirt (even if standing on a rock) it will now work (it used to work without having to do that)
  2. Starting java through control panel and clearing the cache / deleting the temporary files has solved the issue, Thank you guys for the quick response.
  3. Can I also add, this is happening on both of the PCs i play Wurm on (both windows 7 64 bit 8gb ram boring PCs)
  4. The latest patch seems to be invalid, Everything was working as expected before I logged off for the update last night and now can't start the launcher. Anyone else having this issue and any tips on how to address it?   5. We need to be able to lower the grind, distribute the funds, give skilling bonuses.... Make a sleep powder converter, if you add 2 sleep powders you get an enriched powder, this both increases skill chance/tick AND shortens the timer, buy maybe 20% Make two enriched powders into an advanced powder, this increases ticks x 4 and timer by 1/2 etc etc

The biggest issue I see with shipping bulk goods is that item decay, you think your buying 300(x) but it sits in the mail for 5 days and you only see 270(x) then the buyer blames the seller etc... sound like a fight starter. That said, if the decay was reset on mailing it would help, but say the buyer never picks it up, by the time you get it back there might be only 240 left, this would suck... IF the timer was stalled during transit and it was too cheap people may post stuff to themselves for the purpose of stopping decay - say the crate has glimmer in it, saving decay on that would be awesome. Those issues aside, it's not such a bad idea.
  7. Every game that tries that ends up having a market establish itself elsewhere anyway, so there is no point in this. Keeping in the forums makes it much easier to see who is selling, how much & how often, it also helps track potential scammers. MUCH safer to keep it local.
  8. +1 This would make sense, also why not allow a kingdom to fields it's champs from any of it's deities, no need to limit some kingdoms to 2 and others to 3.

Something that you really need to consider is that 1) Although the curve levels you faster in the beginning it's slower at the end, so to get a 100 in a skill on epic is significantly harder than on freedom. 2) Body stats don't appear to be on the curve and so are easier to level on freedom than epic 3) Stamina in particular is Significantly more difficult to level on Epic than freedom Allowing a character to level on Freedom would give it quite an advantage over those that start on epic, this would also need to be considered in such a proposal and the skills reduced as appropriate.

There are serious issues with the mission structure the way it is now, and these portals would make that worse, people popping between servers in seconds to cherry pick the easy missions and leave the hard ones for everyone else, shouldn't those that do the hard ones get a slight benefit when the easy ones come up? Leaving it how it is now you have the option of living on the coast and sailing across, you have the option of having pens near the starter deeds to house your horses if you desire. -1 there are much more important things to fix first.

I think what we really need is a better ticketing system 1) where those on home servers don't get an advantage 2) where those with lots of tickets don't get a disadvantage What we need is a sliding scale, first ticket is 300 points and each subsequent one is 5% more points, this way there is still a chance for low points players to win, and those with lots of points still have a chance rather than being excluded.
  12. Given you can only level so few times a day, it really would make sense to gain a tick every time (much like prayer), but keep all other existing requirements.
  13. **sigh** one day one of these posts is going to be the end of the sleep bonus bonus, I just hope this is not the one on balance sometimes you will get it sometimes you won't, it's not a free for all.
  14. If you make the machine so complicated it's awful there's no point having it, if you make it any easier than now then it takes the job away from those who fund their game with bulk goods. I see no benefit to changing either of those situations, a big -1

  16. The biggest issue is that the floors that only take half the mats are also half the QL. you will need the other 5 planks to bring it up to the same ql as the floor.

This is the fantastic thing about wurm, if you want to solo you can, if you don't you can make as many group activities as you like, impalongs, cart races, hide & seek, the options are endless We don't need to go down the WoW 50 man raid path, it's all here already and much much more open if your open to it.
  18. Perhaps you need to find a village that more suits your needs. For example, in our village we have group hunting trips so we can all level FS, or maybe 1 member wants to level butchering. have group brick making / building making days, when someone wants an extension or we just want a new building in town. have group wood cutting excursions, we grab a wagon and all go fill it with logs sometimes we have big mining projects and get everyone on board to come make some cavern or tunnel and there are many other things, these are just a few examples, it all comes down to how many are in your village, how many are on at the same time, and for someone to just organise it / make the suggestion.

  20. +1 also for planting deeds, you can deed a tile next to a house or not depending which boarder the house wall is on.

    looks like you found some real tools there, perhaps remind them that they should have deeded said tunnel if they wanted to own it... Or even easier, add them to your ignore list and move on, no point stressing yourself over a few ignorant fools.

  23. This would be great, but might need to be tied to drag not lead, since you can lead 4 things, imagine leading 4 wagons with 9 creates of stuff, cool but probably too much.
  24. There was a change to opening mines & it created a defect where you could not open a mine next to a house... this fix was done last night and is very much appreciated. What I am suggesting as a bug is that you can not use the left or right tile boarders to place the mine door, this seems changed to me.
