  1. Bakes weak, sales heavy JK Home Chat Nvr forgetti
  2. I'm not sure that is completely related, I have the issue when I log in and there are like 3 players in local, but it might have to do with all the building and objects around I guess.
  3. Issue: Since about 2 weeks back I've been having an issue almost every time I login to the game, I connect fine and the world loads, but I am unable to move or load menus, because I have seemingly lost contact with the server. I have to wait roughly 15-30 seconds before the world reloads on what seems like a reconnect, and if I am lucky then everything works fine, if I am unlucky I have to wait for another reconnect/reload before everything is fine. Worth noting are a few things: 1. This does not happen completely reliably, meaning once every 5-10 logins I login fine and have no issues. 2. There is nothing unstable or wrong about my internet connection, I have an 8Mbit DSL line and I am running Skype + Steam + Mumble while playing so I would notice these services being unreliable too if there was. 3. Before these issues started I had no issues at all, and the only thing I have changed since then is anti-virus from Avast to AVG. Computer specs: Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz Memory: 4096MB Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4890 Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100618-1621) Im not sure what else to include since I dont get an error or a crash.
  4. There's a typo in your typo
  5. Bear in mind like people said it's a double-edged sword, would make it much easier for goons to pick on newbs. +1
  6. [01:58:46] A weird item belonging on Valrei. Moahahahaha! How many of these are spawned anyway? EDIT: Hmmm, meant to put this in Epic forum, oops.
  7. My stew was actually difficulty 4 for some reason, I'll try to recreate it later (maybe I just remember it wrong)
  8. It's a type of pentacle, or more literally a pentagram encased in a circle. The word pentagram just means five-lined (because a star with five corners consists of five lines), so calling satanist stars pentagrams is completely wrong, not to mention satanist stars have the pentagram upside down (with two edges pointing NNW and NNE to symbolize goat horns).
  9. Apparently onions don't make meals in frying pans anymore, screenshot included.
  10. Today I realized you can't ignore CA's and I think you can guess how. Obviously I'm not an idiot, authorized volunteers such as GMs need to be able to talk to people to do their job, but IMO... CAs dont. I know a lot of CAs prefer PMing people that are disrupting chat before they mute them, but in reality mutewarns show up in the event log, not to mention the "reason" part to a mute that also shows in the event log. I've been muted myself a few times without any PMs, and I don't feel like I've been treated wrong or hurt, a reason is given, and I go on about my business without messing around in kchat for an hour. Some people might think it's a bad idea to mute a CA, because then you definitely won't get a PM before you are muted, so give us a warning then? Instead of "[20:13:31] You may not ignore <CA>" give us something like "Warning: You're attempting to ignore a CA, are you sure you want to go through with this?" And then the next time you type /ignore <CA> you ignore the person in question. Obviously you are shooting yourself in the foot by doing this, but ignoring someone is often a sacrifice, you might miss out on any deals the player in question is offering, or other conversational material you are actually interested in, but the ignore function has always been about giving the player a means to altering their own incoming chat, and if it doesn't disrupt anyone else in any way, I don't see any reason to nullify it.
  11. A few weeks back I noticed the volume negating effect of gift boxes, when I couldn't fit a 64kg lump in a small barrel, but could fit (at least) two gift boxes containing one 64 kg lump each, in a small barrel. I can't find anything about this on the wiki, and I added the advantages it gives to mailing bulk materials to the "Mail" wiki article. I was wondering if there is anyone who has done any testing around how the volume is changed and if they could provide input in this topic. Questions to be answered: Is the volume change dependent on the volume of the initial item? Or is the volume of a gift box specified, and if so what is the volume of a gift box?
  12. Suddenly this morning I can't run the unstable client anymore, but the regular one works fine. When I run the unstable client I immediately get an error message after the Wurm logo shows. At first I thought it was an issue with the authentication to my University ISP (https://netlogon.student.uu.se/) but after rebooting twice and logging in and out of it a few times I now doubt that's the case. I tried removing all the Wurm files, I also tried uninstalling the 64-bit version of Java and reinstalling 32-bit Java. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and using a Radeon HD 4890 graphics card, with no previous issues the last 2 months of play. The details for the error message for unstable are as follows: [Launch File Tab] <html> <head> <title>G? vidare till s?ker inloggning</title> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=https://netlogon.student.uu.se/?url=http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient_unstable.jnlp"> </head> Du ville n? http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient_unstable.jnlp <br> Tryck <a href=&quot;https://netlogon.student.uu.se/?url=http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient_unstable.jnlp">h?r</a> om du inte automatiskt kommer vidare till inloggningssidan </body> </html> [Exception Tab] JNLParseException[ Could not parse launch file.
