  2. The majority of us don't want pvp...at all. So the whole "We will give pvp exclusive features so that people will want play there" is absolutely ridiculous. Would you eat a bowl of poo simply because someone sprinkled some candy on it? The devs seem to think so.
  3. You do know that "fun" is subjective right? Meaning everyone finds Wurm "fun" for their own reasons. Personally I derived alot of my enjoyment from competitively growing my skills with those around me. Who are you to say that my version of fun is wrong.
  4. Change is coming. People want to influence how it changes. Just as you do.
  5. I'm also sick of the pvp exclusive features. Especially due to the reasoning for us not having them. "Pvp exclusive features will bring in more players to the pvp servers" That's really funny because it doesn't seem to have worked: pvp population is still just a fraction of the pve servers....and I highly doubt that ratio will change. Face it, the reason the majority of people aren't playing pvp right this very second is because they find it (The core concept of PVP) boring and silly. No amount of candy and sprinkles will change that.

  9. I really like this idea, but perhaps instead of new creatures we could use existing models and have unique versions of them. Great white buffalo, Giant Black Sheep Kraken (giant octopus) etc As for the reward perhaps they could drop skulls similar to unique skulls along with normal butchered items. Either way more cool things to battle is always good IMO
  10. Cog no longer has giant holes / cannon's anymore. Yay. I am also very much in love with my new large maul...It is beautiful! One small thing I noticed though is the handle doesnt quite line up with my hand when standing idle. All in all, great job!
  11. Exact same thing happened to me on the release hunt. Sounds like an ongoing theme. Wurm - where the best event they can think of consists of chasing arbitrary clues through the wilderness. *slowclap* Maybe one day you guys will come up with some ideas for events that are actually fun for all.

  16. A Simple Poll. Would you continue to play wurm if you could no longer trade silver for real life money?
  17. I wonder how many people in this thread have purchased or sold large amounts of silver? Seems to be a bit of a conflict of interests there. "The money will circulate back." Your really trying to say that when someone withdraws 500 EU cash from wurm that they actually put all of it back into the game? Sure they might buy some premium time putting a small fraction back into the game, but the rest of that potential is gone, off to fill other company's pockets. If you want to justify all the bad that is caused by the money situation in wurm then you might want to come up with a better excuse. I have had MANY people who would be long standing players of wurm today if it wasn't for the GREED that seems to permeate almost every aspect of this game. Makes me sick. EDIT: Eve online allows players to pay for premium time in game without allowing them to withdraw money. It seems to be doing alright.
  18. I do not think he means the resource gold, but rather gold coins. IMO the ability to withdraw money from Wurm in any capacity hurts it more than it helps it. I take this back I has been enlightened.
  19. My thinking is seeing as its taking so long to fix, having something that we can use to find where the monsters are would be pretty helpfull. I live on the very south eastern tip of Xanadu, finding the closest place to hunt animals would be made easy by this map, and ease my suffering quite a bit. I know this would just be a band-aid and wouldn't cure the wound, but after so long... a little treatment would be so very nice.

  22. Alot of good ideas and points made so far. And thanks to everyone for keeping it civil I know these unique threads can often get out of hand. I'm actually starting to think the whole "Dragon drama" stigma has numbed people to suggestions pertaining to uniques. I would wager that many people who do have opinions about uniques and their loot simply don't bother with these threads anymore - and rightfully so. But that begs the question, how do we gauge peoples opinions on a subject when the subject has been so badly stigmatized? Anyways I appreciate it guys/girls!
