  1. Getting to be pretty regular that at the same time each day, connection to the server gets continuously worse, until DC's start.   2. The story: I had two Fo priests linked to do some LT casts, and had a foal born in pen beside them. Upon checking it out, it had two bad traits. Priest A was receiving favor from linked priest B, and did a genesis cast to remove one of the bad traits. This left priest B with insufficient favor to do a genesis cast on his own, so broke the link and reformed it the opposite way around, so that now priest B was using favor from priest A. Upon attempting to cast genesis on the foal from priest B, who was not on cooldown, nothing happened, and no message in event tab. Upon checking event tab on priest A, I discovered that he was getting the cooldown message each time priest B was attempting to cast genesis, despite the fact that he was not casting, just providing the favor. Seemed odd, so I logged out, waited a full minute and logged back in and tried again, but the result was the same, the priest not on cooldown could still not cast when linked, and the error message went to the screen of the linked priest. By this time priest B now had enough favor to cast on his own, but was unable to do so until he the link was broken so that no favor was coming from the other priest that was on cooldown. Not sure if this is working as intended, but does not seem to make any sense to me.
  3. I really hope the leading changes are not meant to go to the PvE servers as well. On Xanadu it's already a complete pain to buy and sell horses with the limited stock available, If you make it so we can only lead 4 horses by walking, you make it pretty much impossible to do so. I cannot see people wanting to walk 8k on foot to buy horses, knowing that if they get attacked and need to mount up to escape or fight they stand a good chance of losing the others they are leading. In case you haven't noticed where the majority of your player base currently resides, pretty sure the backlash against this will let you know if it is implemented.
  4. New stock in to refill pens and ages of horses updated. A number of horses in pens are now at breeding age - grab some of these males to cross with wild females to kickstart your own breeding lines

  7. Update. 11 horses sold in just a few hours today so turnover is pretty brisk. Some new stock in and more to come in the next few hours, but if your intending to travel a fair distance to buy or browse, I'd advise to attempt a PM to me in game to see how up to date the post is as it can change fairly fast. I also have a fair supply of other bred horses which are traited but only 1 or 2 speed + other non negative traits, and while I won't be posting these here, if you are interested can message in game, or talk to me when visiting if your interested in buying some at 30c each.   8. Update and clarification: The self serve setup is a merchant with keys to pens for sale. You can simply turn up and peruse the horses and buy the key to their pen to purchase (leading on deed is enabled to facilitate this). Posting requests for horses to be reserved here may or not work, as they may have been purchased before I get to them or while I am offline. Your best bet is to PM me in game (Delone) and I can check, and keys to pens can be mailed out COD for you to then collect horses when you arrive.   11. As a suggestion, could timber framed windows have the direction of the shutters controlled by which side of the window you are standing on when you build it (if it's not an external wall), so that they can be orientated in the direction the player wants?

Just a short way North of where Garit above is at K8 there is a natural harbour that cuts NE a short way inland (just past the Supreme bsb sitting on coast that as been named to "K8 on ingame map"). I have a freshly built spirit castle just finished at the inland end of said harbour that I would love a cast on. If I'm around at the time will toss you a few gems in thanks, regardless (or possibly even because) of the generosity of your free offer. Was working on stone house and went from doing parapret using a hammer, to continuing on stone walls and forgot to change tool in crafting UI back to being a trowel as shown in the UI as being required. I was able to continue building stone house wall types with either trowel, hammer or mallet, and on further testing was able to continue building with hammer and mallet activated when not using the UI also. With a mallet or hammer in the UI and working with a wall frame, only wood wall types were available, but once a stone wall was started, could then be added to crafting UI and continued using hammer and mallet, or could be continued manually using them.
  15. Chain fences not available as an option on building borders to make balconies with their great visibility, was so hoping this would be available. Chain fences also block movement so you cant walk up to edges to get that real vertigo feeling looking down (you get stopped at about a half metre distance before fence), hope their "width" can be tweaked down a bit as it seems to defeat the purpose of them not blocking view. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but this would make them so much better
  16. Pretty much came here to write exactly what Nsu wrote just above. Had used the old one on quite a few tiles on deed, if it stays like it is now, the whole lot will be ripped up and replaced with something else as the new artwork looks idiotic, especially with the rocks and boulders in it. The suggestion of being able to trim it twice so that it goes from the new texture to the old one on second trimming seems like a good idea to me too.

If the legal enclosure rule is to go, I believe that either: Perimeter enclosures should remain protected by the current rules, as many paying customers have done a great deal of work and spent a substantial amount of money in building and maintaining structures in these areas without abusing the rules. Having had to pay for the tiles whether they wanted to or not (via the 5 tile minimum setup) and having to continue to pay for upkeep on these tiles there should be some benefit for them. Previous changes to deed mechanics and the introduction of ratios meant many people were forced into the choice of making legal enclosures in their perimeter or having to cull off months of breeding work. Now we are being told that it will be open slather for folks to knock down walls and take animals / items from them as they are no longer protected by rules (Yes, that is exactly how some people will see this as being intended), or will again be faced with the prospect of having to cull off our animals. Or Before this is implemented, zero perimeter deeds be allowed at the same time that a mechanic that allows deeds to be extended in individual compass directions ( ie I can extend my deed just south by 1 tile extra) is implemented, so that people have the opportunity to extend their deeds to cover the areas that were previously protected by this rule set. Perhaps the enclosure rule does not need to be removed, but rather redefined to stop the abuse - set a maximum amount of tiles that is allowed to be claimed off deed/perimeter, and introduce marker flags that are made and placed (perhaps a new kind of combined lamp/sign) at the corners of a claimed legal enclosure to define it, and have them show the full signature of the maker. Enforce that these "claims" must have a minimum 2 tile border between any other claim to be valid so they can't be adjoined to enclose larger areas. Any account caught claiming multiple areas faces banning. Have these claims protected, not by any form of coding, but by code of conduct and potential banning of griefing accounts. As someone who has spent $100's of dollars on this game, and with a deed that is over 100 tiles long on one axis, it is costing me a decent amount of money for the 1500 odd tiles of perimeter I am forced to pay for, even though I have only about 200 of those tiles in use for what are currently legal enclosures, one of which is used for breeding Hellhorses without having to turn off my 2 Templars which provide protection for both me and the public roads and tunnels that I have built through my deed (Templars that have been very well used by the new players that have come and gone over the time, several of them settling in to also become paying customers). You have happily taken my money, and I have played within both the rules and (afaik) the intent of those rules, but the ground lately seems to be shifting under my feet way too often. Perhaps it is time for me to check out some of the other sandbox games that are appearing, as I find myself beginning to get very wary about investing more time and money here.
  19. No other wall causes that level of damage to the mauls that destroy them? If I hit a 47ql stone wall for enough times to take 20 damage off it with large maul of similar quality and 45.15 body strength, by the time the wall was at 10% damage I had lost 0.75ql off the maul and it had taken 27 x 30 second actions - as a rough extrapolation to compare to Moogien with the Large axe doing 20 damage to hedge in 1 action for 1.19 to axe, I was looking at 42 actions for 20 damage, doing 1.5 damage to the maul. That equates to 21 minutes of work compared to 30 seconds, and with more damage to the item being used, so you're correct when you say hedges don't do the same damage as other walls, in this case its less. I say it again. Hedges are easy to destroy as is, without having to resort to a catapult, do less comparative damage to the item being used (it seems more because the damage done is so much higher per action) and the time taken to destroy them is a mere fraction of other walls and fences in game. With a Catapult, they go down the same rate as other walls. The argument that they are too easy to create is negated in my opinion by the very fact that the QL of them is totally random. I can build a quaranteed 75 ql low stone wall in 18 seconds and get the rock shards to do in less time than it would take me to go and find 5 sprouts. Hedges do NOT need to be made easier to destroy. The problem is that they do not decay, thus causing more need to destroy them in some (unusual) circumstances. +1 for Hedge requiring maintenance (even if it requires no mats, simply a "maintain" action with sickle). A very strong -1 for making them any easier to remove.
