  1. in a mine Cannot Mine SE Corner of a tile with a Reinforced tile to the West and North West
  2. The Server you are using to send these emails appears to be producing "Sender verify failed" errors which suggest some misconfiguration example error log from my email account (identifiable information <removed>) Event: rejected User: -remote- Domain: From Address: bounce+ce1133.cdb2f-<removed>@wurmonline.com Sender: Sent Time: Apr 28, 2019, 1:52:01 AM Sender Host: rs248.mailgun.us Sender IP: 209.61.151.248 Authentication: unauthorized Spam Score: 0 Recipient: <removed> Delivery User: <removed> Delivery Domain: <removed> Delivered To: Router: reject Transport: **rejected** Out Time: Apr 28, 2019, 1:52:01 AM ID: 1hKY3O-000BHh-T7 Delivery Host: rs248.mailgun.us Delivery IP: 209.61.151.248 Size: 0 bytes Result: Sender verify failed it appears to me that your DNS doesnt have MX records configured for rs248.mailgun.us C:\Users\fireblade>nslookup -q=mx wurmonline.com .... Non-authoritative answer: wurmonline.com MX preference = 50, mail exchanger = aspmx3.googlemail.com wurmonline.com MX preference = 40, mail exchanger = aspmx2.googlemail.com wurmonline.com MX preference = 70, mail exchanger = aspmx5.googlemail.com wurmonline.com MX preference = 30, mail exchanger = alt2.aspmx.l.google.com wurmonline.com MX preference = 60, mail exchanger = aspmx4.googlemail.com wurmonline.com MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = aspmx.l.google.com wurmonline.com MX preference = 20, mail exchanger = alt1.aspmx.l.google.com (see https://help.mailgun.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011804533-Sender-Verification-Error) I discovered this when trying to reset my 2FA and and tried a reset password request, which i have since fixed, but the underlying email issue still remains
  3. except it doesnt as you currently cant place any new ones to create the highway in the perimiter only replace an existing one, so you just get a waystone you cant link anything to with the possible exception of the edge of the perimiter in which case you could put the waystone on the first tile outside the perimiter. I think should either should either be able to add and replace in a perimiter or not be able to add or replace (without permissions)
  4. i know but it seems a little inconsistent to be able to replace one with other when cant place new ones, and can see potential anoyance/missuse e.g someone can replace all perimiter catseyes with waystones just to be anoying plus it swaps the two, so whoever does it gets the catseye back when they replace it with a waystone i havent checked but may also be able to remove waystones by replacing with catseye when 2 or fewer links if cant add new ones probably shouldnt be able to tamper with existing ones as a lot of the time couldnt link a new highway as cant place new catseyes
  5. not sure if bug or intended but can replace catseyes with waystones, and vice versa, on in deed perimeters where get "You do not have permission to plant a catseye on (or next to) "Housing For The Poor"." and "You do not have permission to plant a waystone on (or next to) "Housing For The Poor"." when trying to place new ones So far tried on NE corner of "Housing For The Poor" and eastern edge of "Hunting Lodge"
  6. personaly i would think glass beads would make more sense than actual eyes (id eventually like glass windows etc.), basic glass it not too hightech as romans had it and medieval glass would add more possibilities we have basic components already for it sand(silica), marble (limestone) would idealy need a source of alumina without researching actual process, beads would probably be something like ingredients(in a crucible) [heat]-> molten glass -> glass rods/tubes -> glass bead (improve beads ql by griding/polishing)(ql matter for cats eyes?) and there are plenty of other interesting things could do with basic glass (personally for me i would probaly find making simple beads easier than hunting for eyes) some other thoughts could roads have a reinforcement via usage mechanic, as you can track people, is it possible for roads to be harder to remove the more they are used, eyes/waystones count number of passers by (the tracking might be interesting even without the reinforcement, if someone could create a way to graph it) would require some balancing but for rarely used road could be realativly easily altered where as a major route would be a lot harder to alter, especialy if there isn't an alterate route. could have a proportional effort modifier, the bigger the change away from the road "average" the harder it is to do
  7. reasonable but doesn't help against Man in the middle attacks (interception) which https (encryption) protects against the only advice at the moment that will help protect against that is dont use open wifi, or any network where you wouldn't give any user on it your password, when paying for any premium or silver coin
  8. the thing about letsencrypt and ACME protocol it uses is after install its almost completely automatic for anyone with full control of their apache webserver and highly automated for most other cases even done manualy it only takes ~5-10mins every 3 months for each domain the .jnlp are signed so thats less of an issue as java will get upset of some tries to replace with something else without a reliable signature as https doesnt exactly protect downloads in a way that can't be got around
  9. I was just renewing and noticed that the website shop is still lacking a secure connection, which carries a risk, though probably low, of account theft via Man in the middle attacks (paypal details are safe but not game accounts) Searching doesnt reveal exactly who is incharge of website/webserver maintainence but whoever if it is might be interested in https://letsencrypt.org/ it allows you to setup FREE automatic security certificates for allmost any webserver who can prove that they controll the domain name (e.g http://shop.wurmonline.com) and could be used to secure all the sites. Im assuming that there is not a current security certificate due to costs of obtaining one
  10. This may be a bug but it would be nice if there was the option to build low stone walls in Stone arch walls, can currently build most others, not the tall ones obviously, but not low stone for some reason. if there are some non obvious issues like collision/clipping would it be possible to produce an altred duplicate model that works for arches ?
  11. just guesing it might be some thing to do with the server not binding on ipv6 and ipv4 simultaniously if i remember right 0.0.0.0 bind to any ipv4 address :: binds to any ipv6 address (and in java all addresses see http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/technotes/guides/net/ipv6_guide/index.html#dual) ill try binding to :: later and see what happens i might be able to force ipv4 with java.net.preferIPv4Stack (-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true) but will need to investigate that i have a feeling that its not using the specified ip address directly but "processing" somehow first
  12. ive been trying to get a headless server on ubuntu server 14.4 LTS i have tried configuting the wurmlogin.db ip addresses setup as 192.168.1.9 or 0.0.0.0 but the server insists on binding as ipv6 only $ sudo netstat -a -p | grep LIST tcp 0 0 *:ssh *:* LISTEN 9958/sshd tcp6 0 0 [::]:7221 [::]:* LISTEN 4769/WurmServerLaun tcp6 0 0 [::]:ssh [::]:* LISTEN 9958/sshd tcp6 0 0 gserver.corp.fire:48010 [::]:* LISTEN 4769/WurmServerLaun tcp6 0 0 gserver.corp.fire:3724 [::]:* LISTEN 4769/WurmServerLaun anyone have any suggestions? ive also had issues with windows where the client appears to be trying to communicate via a vmware virtual network adapter for no obvious reason if i run the server locally rather than the interface withe the default gateway even when the defined server has an ip (192.168.1.39) in the same subnet as the default gateway e.g it uses 192.168.74.1 (VMware Network Adapter VMnet1) rather than 192.168.1.39 (Default Gateway: 192.168.1.100) this might also be something to do with server binding as if i change its external ip address to 0.0.0.0 the client can connect im just guessing but it appears that the server is not binding to the specifically defined ip address atleast in some cases
  13. havent checked all lamps i appear to have the option again now on some of ones that didn't yesterday
  14. i am unable to move or turn some of the lamps on my deed there is no obvious difference between the lamps. i get "Sorry, but you are not allowed to turn that." error on these lamps when try to turn them and the move option is missing so far all lamps have issue with are iron lamps all are outside of buildings issue remains after taking and planting again can take and plant lamps without the bug and so far none have developed it so far silver lamps inside house have not had issue recently finished bridge and first two lamps were under the bridge but others were not and one lamp under bridge does not have bug
  15. id like to know about this too, from trying some things on test it seems currently (8 tile gap, between heights 37 and 64): flat bridges (brick/marble) require min height of 80 at both ends flat bridges (wooden) require min height of 60 at both ends arched bridges (wooden) require min height of 60 at both ends arched (brick/marble) bridges work rope works there is somewhere id like to be able build a flat bridge between height 32 and height 86 that is nine tiles long and currently looks impossible id like to know if any specific reason for these minimums while im trying stuff, if i have time i can try making a bridge like that, and see if it works currently, but i think there may be an absolute minimum height of something like 5-10 above water level
