  1. The reason we are posting is because we want to get back to pvp but not until our suggestions are addressed as well, see my earlier post. The changes to pvp since 2016 and other nefarious influences have only succeeded in dropping the pvp population by ~75%. If you want more players to pvp with you need to include us too.
  2. Yes, I always argued to keep SOTG the way it was and we teleported to fight incoming raid parties not to avoid fights, which is pvp. Yes, alts discovering places to put deeds also encouraged pvp because you had to deal with us in your backyard whether it was convenient or not. I am not dense at all, I just see the game very differently than insta-grat kids that only play wurm for a few minutes at a time because they miniscule attention spans. Your entirety of the playerbase is 12 people during peak time as opposed to the hundreds of players that were on Chaos when we were active there. Both karma teleport and twitter alarms promoted pvp, you knew people were at your deed so you could get there to fight them, the epitome of player vs player. It is OK, even though it is not the COD type of gameplay that you lot insist upon imposing on Wurm pvp, which has proven to be an abject failure using server numbers and subscriptions as a measuring stick. There were more active players when both JK and MR were on chaos. Your group, using any means necessary, drove away over 150 active accounts. I know you think you are god's gift to pvp and but outside of your sphere of fanboi-ism we can plainly see how you managed to decimate both the epic and chaos populations by not playing fairly to say the least. Wurm pvp would thrive again if your ilk would go back to playing call of duty. Yes, everyone from JK who was in local of that Checkers raid should have been banned as they were raiding a compromised deed that surely more than 2 people knew about. Of course the JK forums wont show any of this but a transcript of all of your various voice comms would paint a totally different picture if it existed. Teleporting and scouting were legal ways to play the game and we unabashedly played within that framework, overnight changes(one day you can defend your deeds and the next you can not) coupled with your propensity to lead a gang of cheaters gave us no choice but to pack it in. How many of you were punished for dropping into mines and stealing our boats? Boats returned to us by a GM with your names still on them. My point is still valid, all these ill advised rules changes since 2016 have only shown to diminish the pvp playerbase to record low numbers.
  3. You lose items by normal attrition as players leave the server or stop playing, deeds disbanding, smelting etc. If the game ever grows in population again this stock pile you are so concerned with should be doled out to new players too. Not to mention the game already has decay and players will prefer to do be doing other things than repairing and imping gear if they dont have to. You are dwelling on a hypothetical problem instead of working on real ones.
  4. /s Dear Devs, the current pvp community wants you to make wurm into instant gratification COD where everyone is wearing the same armor and all riding the same horses while character development has minimal impact on gameplay, kthxbye /s If you want to increase PvP on Chaos start with reverting every rule change from the Mol Rehan nerf pvp update of 2016 forward. Prohibit staff from participating on Chaos as players in any capacity, gms should be 100% impartial and professional at all times and not pick and choose which tickets they want to answer, when they want to answer them, and how they want to answer them based on their kingdom affiliations or even have the appearance of doing so. Permanently remove players that insist on cheating as a way of gameplay and those that benefit from said cheating. For example, the last raid on Checkers when the mayor account was hijacked, not only should all of the forum hackers been banned, any player that raided Checkers should have been permanently banned too because the mayor was illegally controlled by one of them. I still have evidence left by the OP when he participated in the theft of an account and moonmetals off a freedom deed whose account info was gleaned from the hacking of our private forums. You've had just about 2 years of the cheaters & hackers running chaos and the server numbers don't lie. Before they were given the server by the devs, more often than not there were at least 50+ players on Chaos most of any particular day, as of this minute there are 13 on during peak time in the EU in the middle of the summer. I am sure the number of deeds has dropped by the same percentage and that is lost revenue no matter how you much lipstick you want to put on this pig.
  5. Can't you bash most items to under 10 QL and then pick them up?
  6. They are 18 hours too and using wurm assist to track your cooldowns works wonders. Wonder why the wiki would be wrong considering these timers have been 18 hours since meditation abilities were implemented. I guess being wiki staff is all about having the fancy title.
  7. How about bring back Challenge and/or go play on epic if you enjoy those rules better? It boggles the mind that you move to a server only to beg to have it changed to exactly like the server you came from. Why must the Chaos ruleset, that some of us enjoyed, be mangled so much?
  8. How is Wurm?

There are over 100 players waiting to pvp again and we don't need new content to fix the reasons why we are still waiting.
  9. Will you make it carry over? I mined a star gem when I was trying to get a 99ql gem for the original requirement. Since I have had the goal all along it only makes sense to get credit for achieving it regardless of when it happened.
  10. Still works that way in my clients. There was a previous client months ago that retained the position in the list. If the last character you logged into started with M when you scrolled down it wouldn't go up to A like it does now.
  11. Update, a mad suggestion was actually implemented and another partially. New suggestions this week. 1. Vastly increase the number of rift resources per rift node. With the addition of the electrum rune of fo and other similar ones where you can easily use 20-30 in no time, coupled with the poor creation and use chances for the average player, more resources per rift per player is necessary. 2. Add Skeletons and wraiths to the list of creatures that spawn in caves. 3. Automatically lead animals when removing them from crates, you lead them in already.
  12. Victory : New: You can now use a knife cut a 2kg portion of larger weight prepared foods.
  13. A better fix would have been to revert the knee-jerk GM change that created this problem to begin with. Imagine if you could just dig them up there again, terraforming in a game based on terraforming, hmm what a novel idea. All because some players were too lazy to catapult a 1 by 1 building and chose to complain to a sympathetic GM.
  14. QFT A couple years ago there was a similar discussion about how poor the creativity is when it comes to anniversary gifts and obviously it fell on deaf ears. If the gifts were even somewhat interesting some of us would prem-up dozens of accounts to get them but alas another revenue opportunity squandered. Keep up the good work!
  15. This week's suggestions added.
  16. So your horse was in the tunnel with you and out of no where it popped to the surface? The lava tile was still lava in the tunnel too?
  17. If you enter a cave and immediately run your cart into either cave wall at the entrance you will force your horse to the surface. Slow down when you enter caves and when you don't see all of your horses on your vehicle back out and try to come in straighter. If it still happening you might be de-synced so you will want to dismount and type /stuck to re-center yourself and then try again. Practice makes perfect. There is no reason to change any other mechanics unless they want to fix the running into the entrance tile cave walls.
  18. First thing Wurm needs is a proper business manager who has the ability to: Successfully manage an advertising budget & expand worldwide recognition, how many minecraft players that are becoming adults now would love to discover another game Notch worked on? I know when I mention Notch made the game I play to minecraft players they immediately want to know more. Enhance the player experience by making both new and existing players feel welcome and valued as opposed to treating them/us with this endless snark that we have been forced to endure since Rolf disappeared Realize that they are in the entertainment business and people are paying to have fun, make them happy - don't tell them to be happy Devise fun incentives for players to invite new players to the game and shine a positive light Maintain a high standard of professionalism, fairness, and consistency Give the game a positive direction and inspire creative thought and fun problem solving If Wurm had 10,000 players most of the MMO problems people complain about would diminish. Pvp servers would be thriving and kingdoms would once again be the proper size, not 5 buddies with 25 alts to game the system only to complain that its too hard to go against a proper kingdom of 100+. The economy would be booming with all strata of players buying, selling and trading as opposed to this tiny pond where everyone focuses on the best of the best endgame wares. We probably still have enough open land to accommodate 10,000 when you consider how large and empty Independence and Xanadu are, not to mention the smaller servers that usually have 10-30 players on at any given time. Rolf, if you are reading this, we have tried the nepotism and bury your head in the sand routine long enough, its time to find a professional to take Wurm to the next level. Just think of how much better your vacations will be if you have 4 times as many Wurmians.
  19. This week's suggestions posted. As far as mentor villages go, the key word is Mentor. The mentors will be veteran players that can sort out the mess newbs create as they learn how to play. The whole point is to make the first few days a very interactive MMO experience so new players actually give the game a chance. The mentor's will be the human portal from the tutorial to the rest of the servers, even go so far as have their villages linked. No reason to overthink this and try to make it automated, that has already been proven to defeat the purpose.
  20. Typical, you still didn't answer the question, I think you are just making it up when you say rock must be harder to terraform.
  21. What are you basing this assumption off of? If it was true they would not have made surface mining easier while back. That would be a good point but they fell short when implementing this feature, you get 3 ash total per cleaning if a forge etc. is lit for 30 min or more. It would have been better if the ash accumulated every 30 mins while a forge etc is lit regardless of re-lights between cleanings.
  22. New suggestions added to OP.
  23. Why do you disagree with how they were done originally? When the cast was available and you had enough linked priests you casted, first come first serve. Just because one group of players found this inconvenient and wanted to plan out when the casts were done shouldn't mean the rest of the entire playerbase should have to wait up to 500+ days for a cast. They had the exact same opportunity to cast it. Don't forget Wurm is a 24/7 live virtual world with players in probably everytime zone, events are going to be inconvenient to you sometime.
