So easy to spend others money for them isn't it? Last I knew disbanding was a Loss of coin still. IMO deed trashing uniques should not even happen. By all means have uniques if you must, just not at a loss of coin on a deed where there we should somewhat safe.

I tried surfeasy and it didn't work for me. However, I did set up a VPN on my windows XP machine and was able to get the game running. However it IS a bit more laggy and minimally playable. Thanks for your posts on this VPN idea Nacho, as at least I can now play. Is Wurm still deserving of of my cash after all this? That is THE question. Why did no wurm staff mention using a VPN or look into this connection problem beyond what little MaxC did on one day? Seriously Wurm.....You want more players on another and larger server in addition to the exisiting servers? Why not take care of your existing LONG TERM customers better and your current bugs and disconnect issues before you take on even more you can't or won't help? sigh

Indeed. Forced disconnects have made Wurm unplayable for me now. My connection has deteriorated so bad in the past 5 weeks that I can now log in for 2-5 minutes before a forced remote host disconnect. Meanwhile My premium time and deed time is ticking away. Soon my crops will die as well as my livestock. I would like to be part of the crowd just to see the insanity of the land rush for Xanadu. wurmonline.com wurmpedia.com and the game itself are royally inaccessible to me and Several others now. All other sites I visit and other online games we play are working. Please....Fix it, or lose us and our coin. This is not a threat. We are in online chat with our ISP tech support. I may post the results of that chat here...Minus names. Edit update: ISP chat was Not constructive. Basically I/we are stuck unless Wurm goes to a host that our USA Southern/West states can connect to reliably. It's only 10-20 people not being able to connect or play. No big loss as far as numbers go, even if they are premium paying players...right?

You have some very good points above. Why does everything else connect yet not wurmonline.com, wurmpedia.com and the wurm client. We have the same scenario here..... Update, first call with Hughesnet, dropped. Imagine that. Ugh. Sick of handing over good money for rotten service or products.

I too have had many forced disconnects by remote host. (crashes) MaxC helped me track it down to my ISP as the culprit which is Hughesnet. Terrible customer service there. Going to butt heads with them tonight though. Enough is enough. Wurm was doing okay on connections up until about 5 weeks ago. Have had Hughesnet over a year.... Wurm is not really a twitch based game and should not be having these problems. We also play another online game that is not twitch (relies on fast latency) based and no problems with that game. (UWO). I suspect some ISP's may now be throttling connections in new areas now.

More dirt is available. However until my internet connection gets more stable I will not be able to deliver.
