  1. I'm not sure what the rest look like, but this is Seryll:
  2. Hello, I am an old Epic player that came over to Freedom to live permanently, about 6-8 months ago. When I arrived I looked up many villages and decided to join Eden Village on Xanadu. Now, all these months later, I am very glad of my initial decision all that time ago. My time in Eden has been fun, I have made many friends, and I love living in this extremely active village that gives its people as much room to grow as they want. Qwizat is a great mayor, and my village-mates are wonderful people and make my Wurm experience so much better. I recommend Eden Village very highly to all players new and old that are looking for an active, fun, kind community of players to join. Check out what I did with my plot! https://imgur.com/a/mhMmEpA https://imgur.com/a/mt44oKM My in-game name is Midgaar (koreal is my priest alt) so feel free to contact me (or Qwizat or anyone in Eden really) if you have any questions or concerns or just want to chat!
  3. This would probably be a lot of work to do properly but, please let us make sleds and go sledding down big hills with good slopes! Obviously a sled can't turn much and would follow the curve of slopes and crash into trees, but it could (hopefully!) pick up massive speed on the right hill! Imagine the projects people could start to make the perfect sledding hill, even in a limited way to facilitate travel! (Quickest way down a mountain!) Let me hop in a supreme oak sled and race my mates down Dragon Fang!
  4. Thank you devs! I've been pelting my villagemates with snowballs ever since I put up my snowmen! I gawk at the beautiful water! I look forward to someday getting into the fishing system, now that it actually sounds interesting! I switched both my priests from Paaweelr and Magranon to Nahjo and Smeagain and am loving the priest update! What a great Wurm Christmas! I also made a supreme seryll butchering knife on christmas day! I want to live in Wurm forever! How much money would it take to bribe devs into making wurm VR-compatible??? Anyway thanks again guys! Happy Holidays!
  5. Not being able to imp stuff at my forge because there's an animal penned five stories below me seems pretty certainly a bug. I don't see how you can believe it is intended behavior.
  6. My entire area built at extreme effort and expense was designed for this. I was not expecting the bugs. Whatever conditional they used to prevent combat through the floor, please add targeting to it, so no targeting occurs through the floor. That would solve this entirely.
  7. Bump. This is still driving me bonkers! I'd love to be able to stand at my forge and imp stuff!
  8. I want your 3 Seryll lumps Would you take 90c each? If so COD to Midgaar please. Thank you
  9. hello, if you are still selling it I will buy all of your seryll. If so please COD to Midgaar
  10. Personally I see two major problems I have with the Wurm end-game: Population Sparsity and the previously mentioned Maintenance Mode. For the first, I'd love to see some changes that encourage people to live together in bigger deeds. There will always be hermits, but as a former hermit I discovered to my surprise that living in a densely populated deed in a densely populated area is much more fun, even for me. I didn't know this until it happened, and it only happened because I took a long break from Wurm and my hermit-ville decayed to dust. I didn't feel like recreating an entire deed from scratch so I joined an existing village and lived within, and the experience taught me that being a hermit is not nearly as fun or interesting. This wont prove true for everyone, so I'm not suggesting hermit-living be restricted or impaired, only suggesting encouragements for higher-population deeds. Deed bonuses are great, but way, way too mild. If there could be skill-based bonuses that would be awesome. For example, every active member of the deed with 70+ blacksmithing increases a passive deed bonus to blacksmithing, say +2% skillgain and +1% rare chance on blacksmithing items per member or something. Perhaps this could even encourage specialized deeds. Tons of high skilled weaponsmiths, and players who wish to learn/grind weaponsmithing, live at a deed dedicated to weaponsmiths to maximize the bonus. Or even better, super large metropolis deeds can be made that have enough players gathered together to add a great bonus to almost everything. This would work in the other direction too. If I live in a general deed with no special focus, and I'm the only cloth tailor around, hitting 70 cloth tailoring skill directly improves the deed. Anyone that wants to make a meditation rug is grateful that I'm there. The other issue is what to do. I see new players leave all the time because grinding isn't fun. I agree, I've been playing Wurm for many, many years but I never grind and thus my highest skill is only 82. Personally I manage to find other enjoyable things to do to occupy my time, but that's not true for everyone. To that end I like the ideas presented, especially hunting areas/dungeons and minigames. Hell just adding the ability to make a deck of cards and play some poker would be amazing. Especially if playing said minigames increases mind logic or mind speed or something. I also think things should be added that are fun to do and have no skill requirements. Mini-games would do this, but other things can do it too. on-going horse racing, a fighting arena where players can duel for prestige and reward or fight piles of monsters, etc etc etc. Think of how much fun the side-games at an impalong are, and imagine a metropolis size deed with dozens and dozens of people online at any given time, full of these fun distractions. Like a permanent impalong with live-in residents. I don't want to just play Wurm, I want to live there! Also I've seen things like Epic, and WU, go the other direction and spread Wurm's relatively small playerbase wider, and every time it's happened, Wurm felt a little more dead. If it were up to me, the entire population would be consolidated on to just a few servers, but I can understand the reaction such a thing would provoke.
  11. Hello, I live in a multistory building that contains lots of animal pens with aggressive animals inside and the bugs are driving me insane. First, animals several floors down can cause me to target them through the floors, even bringing up the combat window. There's no actual combat, but it prevents me from queuing up actions. I cannot stand at my forge and imp things comfortably without constantly walking to the other side of the roof to clear the combat. This also prevents my stamina from regenerating properly. Second, animals will eat meat and such from the pens several floors below theirs. If I drop meat into the croc pens on the first floor, i'll catch the bears and wolves on the third floor eating that meat right through the floor. Finally, on rare occasions if I have a monster tame in his pen, he will occasionally warp to a pen below or above his and fight the monster in that pen. Please fix this! Especially the first one, it's endlessly frustrating that I can't queue up actions in my work area because of my pets several floors down, who can't even attack me but force me to target them and can prevent me from getting things done. Thank you. Koreal

  16. Remove

Sorry, I made a mistake and am wrong. Please remove this post.
  17. I play a lot on my TV from my couch. When I do, the text is very tiny and hard to read, so I often don't bother reading text, just play. This can cause me to appear to be ignoring people. I don't do it on purpose but it can really look that way.
