  4. One of my favourite things about wurm is that you're rewarded for pretty much every action that you do (with skill gain). There is however one big exception and that is travelling and transporting goods. We have ships of varying sizes to help with this and small and large carts. These help quite a bit, but on the newer maps, much of the map is land-locked so ships really only help you get it a part of the way. The rest of the trip is spent going back and forth between the ship and the deed many many times because you can only fit so much in your cart. To help fix this, I'm proposing an even larger cart that has steeper requirements. Make it require a lot of resources to build, a high skill to build, as many as 10 hitched animals to pull, and maybe even travel slower than a large cart. Thoughts?

  6. Honestly, if you're doing any sort of hunting take a two hander and fight aggressively. I've trained up both longsword/LMS and huge axe and the difference is night and day. You'll kill stuff faster, have more life after, and your armor will take less damage saving you money in the long run.

  8. Yeah, Shindar on release has at least 94 as of a couple weeks ago so probably 95 by now. If you read a little more carefully you'd see the "first" was a question asking if I was the first two to 'Master' titles on the new servers and on one char.

  10. There was some post I read somewhere from one of the dev's saying that they would not release 1.1 until they fixed performance issues (pvp'ers were complaining).

  13. That's going to be tough since this is on a new server and also since they're going to be hell horses and not just regular horses. I guess I'll just try with 3 of each and see how it goes.
  14. Hmmm, so ideally 6 plus whatever I want to breed? So say maybe 10 total?
  15. I've had a lantern in my merchant for about a month now. It started at 0 dmg and has been consistently going up.
  16. How many horses should I be looking at requiring in my horse farm if I want to breed 5-speed horses for myself with maybe 1-2 spare?
  17. Also make sure you only have 1 version of java installed. Usually causes problems when you have an older installation still in the background somewhere.

  19. If I recall correctly, the black dragon's are a lot smaller than that. Still a badass statue though. I'd really wish you could though, just make them ridiculously hard to build, like a colossus. Would add to masonry and the freedom servers and make a career in masonry something viable that isn't just grinding out bricks all day. Imo the game needs some bigger goals that a group of people can work towards, I've seen so many people quit after building their house it's not even funny anymore.
  20. Yeah, there definitely seems to be a bit of a bug with the way missions are showing up. Can go a good 4-5 hours without a missions popping up that everyone else can see. I was logged on basically all day yesterday and had a couple missions showing up finally, then I got DC'd and there was one missing and it didn't show up again when I logged in even though it was still available for others.
  21. I would but your data points for 35ql and 77ql seem off. EDIT: Actually, nvm, looks like some typos on your part but sub-80ql seems to be consistent gains of 1.5ql to ql of the vein. Would be interesting to see if you can get very good ql out of a good ql vein or if it messes up at all. Unfortunately we can't see the true ql values because wurm rounds it to 2 decimals places on the display. Also Excel doesn't do very good with small numbers and the trendlines so I multiplied the bonuses by 1000.   22. Nah, found an aged hell-horse again today and tamed it first try. Honestly, tame easier stuff like horses/dogs. You only gain skill on successful tames.
