  1. The weapon and shield skins collectively.
  2. Dwarves

    Diggy Diggy Hole!
  3. As noted somewhat already, the trick would coming up with an equitable, fair means of determining whats "abandoned". There are players who may go months inactive: military, oil rigs, merchant shipping, etc. Let alone players who take long term breaks, or waning interest only to come back eventually. Once that's done, I'm all for salvaging. Hell I'd love a salvage skill, using pliers and/or crowbars, for breaking down items into their immediate components.
  4. I've had "discussions" with GMs off and on on similar topics since Spring 2006. Not banned yet ingame so far.
  5. Can still pick pve, off-deed gates open to maliciously groom people's livestock! Mwahaha Sure, maybe when we ever get NPC chests ingame. Know several people who don't upload any number of skills for any public skill-sharing system, let alone Thievery skills. Stealing is even more antisocial than Lockpicking tbh
  6. Whatever happens, it better be tested THOROUGHLY, and on the live test server. Seen far too many games with far too many AH shenanigans. Sadly AAA titles included... Diablo III, New World, etc.
  7. So we're back to Gold Valley eh? Hopefully we learned from that example.
  8. Chariots

Can definitely see it as a speed tradeoff for cargo hauling. Driver would still get the combat nerf; however, the fighter/passenger would not suffer from such. Still get mounted bonus? Lemmie get my ben hur on!
  9. It would be nice; however, do we have the art devs? Afaik only one is a perm paid one. The last overhaul took a couple years with a far larger group iirc. Granted it was mostly volunteers.
  10. "That wall or fence was down when I got here. No, I know nothing about any nearby siege machinery."
  11. It would be very unusual and unprofessional if there wasn't some kind of documentation required already. The game has a long, long history of volunteer gfx work after all. Granted in US law, even a vocal agreement is still a binding contract.
  12. So long

So long, and thanks for all the fish 😥 Don't forget your towel.
  13. Eh if one doesnt like it, dont buy it. Granted most pmks these days seem to just form for the sake of peddling more pmk art. Don't see the appeal personally; however, there must be buyers for people to bother slapping some together.
  14. There's more than one artist. The two orcas are very different in style and execution, and the crude color editing is actually more visible as a larger image.
  15. Granted pacific northwest tribal orcas use the same basic color scheme, and there's quite a bit of variety among artists. However, the two orcas look like they come from separate artists. Unsure about the background style. This one almost looks like an outright CnP, with one difference around the "eye". https://www.pinterest.com/pin/787355947380659151/ Another CnP with rather... amateurish-edited color filling. Visible white pixel artifacts along the lines https://www.pinterest.com/pin/774124920562418/
  16. Certainly for small areas in such a map, and I would even see that as a bonus. Creating a situation where players have to encourage and build up that infrastructure. Additionally the size of such a map, say a vast gravel and sand desert the size of Xanadu. The sheer scale of it would be daunting, especially if certain features exist. Far, far fewer water spots. Grass doesn't spread on its own, and un-deeded dirt may convert back to sand. Personally always been for extended biomes and more extreme weather dynamics impacting gameplay. Then there's temporary pve maps such as Jackal. Making it more of an alien hellscape, might be a good way to ratchet up its difficulty.
  17. Folding is a smithing technique for improving low quality steel, especially when high in carbon. Overall, this can be implemented to provide usage for all the low ql steel that exists. For balance the process could utilize much higher quantities of low ql to obtain a specific amount of higher QL. Skill wise improves metallurgy along with using smith tools?
  18. Just a small example of how colorful medieval interiors were. ALL THE COLORS!!!
  19. Atm on Xanadu's "Lagville Part Deux" deed where a ship tunnel/canal passes underneath, there are at least three Valrei mission items spawned in that cannot be picked up by non-perm players. Makes it practically impossible for the vast majority of players to complete said missions, as long as the items cannot be picked up by everyone.
  20. Yup. As they say in physics, it's always relative.
