  1. Yes and yes But only if the server has the same abilities as Wurm Online. To my understanding many WU servers dont have pmk options.
  2. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you have never finished the objectives for your mentor and you have never had someone finish for you. Rewards should not be full scale sets where everyone would then just make an alt and mentor themselves... Rewards should be something new possibly something useful but not to the point where you as a player would pay premium on a new account and skill it for a few months till you can make bank. Mentorship should not be a 1 week ordeal it needs to be where just like entropia you literally have to take a player under your wing of you want to see them succeed. It could be a great system of some thought would go into it, and something else vets can do to break up the same old same old wurm has become. Many of us want to and like to help players... Many of us want to see 5k subscriptions once again. It doesn't hurt to try something that cant hurt anymore then things are right now.
  3. As I was reading this thread the mentor system that entropia universe has came to mind. That being another hard game to get into mainly because of not understanding the real cash value to do anything and where to start. Mentors took you under their wing for a small prize at the end which was worthless to the game value wise but to the economy some of those items gained value through time. A mentor system in wurm would be great.. Give objectives just like entropia where as a new player they have to meet so many objectives like one being premium, and like building a house, teaching certain skill levels and at the very end a small gift for the mentor and the new player for sticking around.
  4. I've been saying we need more variations of mob strengths for years... My suggestion to it is that humanoid mobs should have AI that allows them to group up as a team creating humanoid camps where they somewhat spawn or protect a semi king or leader.. And like rifts allowing loot drop but not specific to moon metals only. I would love to see a mob of sorts drop a random armor piece made of random material at a random quality... Not only armor but any useable item the game already has. The sense of adventure would be much more real and fun. +1

  6. Since its not full Scale bit harder to price, not sure how much interest there is yet in mixed suits, people are still used to uniform sets... My PC on it would be 245s at a minimum to upwards of 275s. Prices based on current market hide prices and consideration of rarity.

  9. Thinking of trying pvp? Come try with a group looking to get back out there.. Come give it try you won't regret it. Help with gear and weapons is provided. Loot is split 2 ways depending on what's voted for on the spot, which is split based in need or roll for choice of items. Hota win moonmetals are split based on participants.
  10. Id say right around 200euro has pretty good stats, some good crafting, pretty decent meditation, pretty good fighting skill just needs some more attention to weapon and shield skill. It's a solid base for a toon. I would say 150 is a bit low. Lowest I would say and if you are in a rush to sell would be 175.. With a Mac of 250 but probably more along the lines of 200 to 225euro.   11. I didn't want to get to deep and wanted to just bring up what seems to be a pretty good suggestion for balance for plate armor and chain armor which are the 2 that affect speed the most. They are good armors in terms of protections for the most part but because of very limiting ability to move (chain being much better then plate so it is not as affected by speed penalty) they fall real short in the food chain when in pvp vs drake/scale users and as Niki points out in pve as well for abilities to get away from mobs. Its currently like a death sentence, and while using moonmetals to make a plate set it just is a prolonged death sentence. it seems the Wurm team like smaller type suggestions that can be implemented quickly if its favored by many. if we could manage to find a simple balance fix such as listed that many find favorable as a balance perhaps we can see implementation and we can tackle the next issue. I do feel this ability would help a lot though and offers more options.
  12. Its been debated many times that there are/have been some issues with Armor types and pros vs cons... With the conversations always ended up to a point of which players find devaluing something for balance reasons is not the best way to go and understandably so, after some great convo today about pvp and ideas on possibly changes a good point of view was presented to me which I believe would not only retain values of all armors but quite possibly even add some slight value to others. Plate armor (Steel) being the only real viable option for newer groups or perhaps just players who may not have a bank roll is far inferior to the meta armors Drake and Scale. Although DR is similar vs Drake, the protections more importantly Vulnerability is the highest/worst in 2 categories vs other armors even such as chain, which is the reason why Glimmer/Seryll chain seem to be even superior then plate armor. But the biggest draw back to Plate armor in general is its speed. Now before we go ahead into just speed it up! The great conversation was the talk about how to maintain the value level of other armors namely drake as its competitor, as it would be unfair for those that have these armors would lose value due to a possible balance change. Well the comment came up where perhaps only Plate made from moonmetals were to not only gain the DR the metals give but also some bit of speed bonus to go with it. The speed bonus is not to match the speed of Drake, but only to add a bit more of a benefit to using it. Currently even though Seryll plate armor would have more DR vs Drake, in a land fight you are still pretty much a sitting duck. The slight increase to speed for moonmetal made armors would give them a bit more of an added benefit and in turn would do 2 things. 1 probably one of the most important, is just simply not affect value of drake and scale which is a big deal, and 2nd it could potentially slightly increase the value of moonmetal armors because of yet another ability. Keep in mind the affect here is to try to balance without creating a favorable META, at the same time not affect the economy or value of affected/related items in a negative way but possibly in a positive way instead. Any thoughts or further suggestions? Or if you grasp the idea brought forth by "Person to name themselves" and would like to add on to strengthen its approval please do so.
  13. You bring it to a mechanic who actually cares about fixing cars and money Will come in because of it.. He tells you you need to leave the car with him for a few days and that he will take it out for a few drives in between other cars... That mechanic actually finds the issue because he cared to spend some time to actually look. Or do you like using the mechanic that asks you well what do you think is wrong with the car? Do you know how to fix it as well? Tell me how and I'll charge you full price like I would if I actually did my job.
