So obviously its a regional thing then. Can the proud slate/marble vein owners tell the region in which they live ? We could map that a bit then. All i know so far is, that region Crystal Lake has Marble. I'll collect data at the first posting of this thread at best.

prospecting like mad, checking mines, asking neighbours, travelling around..no marble, no slate so far. wondering if those even released. Has someone of you found something already ?

I ran through 2 bigger mines now and did not find a slate/marble vein. Question is, do they only appear when mined out after the patch or are they simply a bit rare ? new edit: 1. They can be found everywhere but they obviously really rare 2. They can be prospected from surface rock Last question is, if Rod of Transmutation can create those veins..but since it just created metal veins up to now, chances are not that big i'd say.

Hey all, since i'm not the only one with some houses on his deed without a roof, the question might occur: What type of roof should i build, what fits good and what would i like ? I find this screenshot is manipulation of the viewer. Rocky underground is the worst background you can have for this fence. Imagine it on grassy tiles and trees around it looks really better, so i voted for new style is better.

mining out my cave actually and there is a trend to getting deeper and deeper when im mine_forward. since im close to waterlevel i often get into the water and have to dig up then and lower the area, to stay above the water. My question is, am i doing wrong something or can i do something to avoid this slowly gettin-deeper ?

Better 1 or few days longer to recover then to miss such an important feature, reasons above. It's not only nice to have, It's one of the cornerstones of wurm crafting.
