  1. -1 Do not remove it. Time consuming? Yes. Difficult to complete an individual rift? No, it's very easy and fun with a group. This is part of the final journal entry for non-priests to complete to earn the coveted cape. Since it can be thought of as an end-game goal, it should not be accomplished in a short timeframe.
  2. Year of 1100

What were the prizes? Congrats to the winners!
  3. Hi Kadmint, You can see the exact number of the "Improve items 100000 times" achievement by hitting "Esc", then click on "Tools", then "More", and then "Achievement Window". Click on the "Name" column to sort alphabetically, then find "Improve".
  4. Once you accept that anything, good or bad, can change in the game, it's much more fun. For me personally, once I accepted the fact that I lost 100's of dollars in fountain pans, marks to switch to Fo then have LoF almost immediately nerfed, lots of money on many trader deeds for draining (though to be fair the long-term investment return was positive, albeit small), my game experience has been much better. It doesn't matter if anyone agrees or disagrees with any changes made. What's done is done and the sooner you accept it, the faster you can get on to enjoying the game. Unless it's enough to make you quit, in which case, thanks for all the fish. Or you can become a dev and be more influential in the changes that you want made.
  5. https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Lurker_in_the_dark Unless anything has changed, gold provides a 10% bonus and the example is wrong. 10% of 100 is 10, not 20. Also, I thought the size of the map affected the range formula. If so, there is no mention of that along with the applicable formula per size.
  6. This month's Marks store skin has basinet helmet as the target item. Do you mean next month, January?
  7. [09:30:51] The items silently disappear from the spirit castle. You expect them to arrive in less than ten minutes. thx post updated
  8. I find it difficult to believe that a new player would start with an initial goal to destroy a game that they know nothing about. More likely, the new player was frustrated with the perceived complexity and was short on patience and gave up.
  9. Hi, This is what I have that I'd be willing to sell. Let me know your offer, if interested. https://gyazo.com/b056363f7fbcb5f6ab0ed1f7bfa9a461
  10. I would prefer to see the battlecamps last longer. Maybe extend from 10 to 20 days to give people more options for capturing.

  12. 30s Selling as a full set, not individual pieces. Each level of rarity adds 3% to damage reduction: Rare: +3% Supreme: +6% https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Armour
  13. The bonus skillgain timer should be like the newbie food and aggro timers, where it's based on the amount of time logged in to the game. That way, it's the same amount of time for everyone no matter when or how much they play. Nevermind, the incentive could be to have as many people log in as possible at the start to be able to report high numbers.
  14. I spammed the keybind to cast nolo on a necklace in case casting failed, and noticed it said "hiding" instead of "casting". So, I hit escape and then pressed the keybind again. Can see the results below when testing to see the word "hiding" when actually casting. [15:30:29] You start to cast 'Nolocate' on a necklace. [15:30:29] After you finish hiding you will start hiding again. [15:30:30] After you finish hiding you will start hiding again. [15:30:36] You stop hiding. 15. It seems like when during the process of logging in an avatar into the game (something like instance creation), a connection object is created that interfaces between the avatar and world interactions. During that process, it seems something can happen to negatively impact that connection object to where the avatar experiences persistent lag for a lengthy period of time. For example, right now I have 2 avatars logged in. One has been logged in for hours and experiences no lag whatsoever. The second one, I logged in about 15 min ago, and there has been constant lag with everything, opening doors, menu, gates, etc. This issue occurs about every other month or so, so not really a big deal. Just curious about the behavior and why it happens. It would be nice to read technical details, instead of "weird Hetzner issues". If it's a server hosting or network issue, wouldn't it impact both avatars?
  16. Disintegrate was included in that same post. 2. make it much easier to remove reinforcements off deed
  17. "We want to reduce the number of priests needed in a fight to be viable, and as such have reduced the spell-spam effects" Before a fight, locate soul provides useful vector information about the enemy. You don't cast dirt on a person in a fight or disintegrate, which sounds pretty cool though. If you literally want to "reduce the number of priests in a fight to be viable", then it shouldn't take so many priests casting multiple times to achieve a goal, which results in a spell spam.
  18. Locate soul is not that important in the list to change. I don't think anyone really has an issue with it. For this one specifically, I'm just going by the perceived stated trend of number of priests needed and spell spam. Yeah, it's easy to cast locate soul, but it could take many casts. How many casts are typical to locate someone? From my experience, there are usually multiple priests simultaneously casting and it takes around 3 attempts or so (it's not exact, but more likely than not, more than one cast each). I would consider this spell spam and according to the recent patch notes, seems like the goal is to reduce the number of priests needed and spell spam. "We want to reduce the number of priests needed in a fight to be viable, and as such have reduced the spell-spam effects"
  19. 1. remove /who 2. make it much easier to remove reinforcements off deed 3. revert the sailing mechanics 4. make the local view distance the same above and below ground 5. casting locate soul is a spell spam and should have increased success rate so that it's cast less often and would require less priests
