  1. Nunatak, if I'll be able to make it on time. No other alts.
  2. I'm noting it down here as bug since such behaviour was already reported with Support Request and perhaps puts in danger of loosing trader (access to it or poofing on foreign deed disband) anybody who will follow this scheme. I will probably edit this post later with more info or comment below. Now I just want to make devs and gms aware of the situation as this is not what is expected I believe. The new trader placed in result of solved case has been already recalculated to the deed he's on again. There was no resize or any such action regarding neither of the deeds involved. First hand info as I own both and the alts. Time window is quite short this time. 1. Both deeds are in place. 2. Member of CV deed places trader on CVP area. Examine message shows correctly - "He bears the mark of citizen of CV". Citizenship list displays trader in CV. 3. Something triggers the change - server restart? CVP joining alliance with CV? 4. Examine message shows "He bears the mark of citizen of CVP". Citizenship list displays trader in CVP.
  3. Hello Devs and Inde dwellers! I'm worried about empty traders pockets - after another reset, properly managed. Also the message: 'There are apparently no coins in the coffers at the moment.' appears more often than before. King's poverty is also clearly visible in ton of rare herbs and such instead of coin given occasionally to balance traders draining. Is the economy broken or what? I could notice maybe more deeds disband by owners or by time recently, but some new settlements were started as well. Anyway the deeds that exist hold enough silver to keep the economy alive (at least mine do). Here: http://freedom001.game.wurmonline.com/mrtg/money.html on the other hand the total amount of irons on the server hasn't dropped to level preventing money redistribution. Yearly graph shows nice saw-shaped traders pocket wealth... until some day in December. Is it related to tinkering with traders after wagoners update? I dont dig through WU code, but maybe someone does and knows - why did the coffers dry? I don't know if looking at any other server can give any answer since it appears they dont run the same code. Is there another experiment going on on Inde? I know it is hard to forsee the future, but since devs did intentionally 'fix' things regarding irons flow, is there at least one person sure the model doesn't lead to dead end even with normal players activity? :-)
  4. A horse to bravely run away when heat goes up to quickly is essential. But those get killed sometimes too, so a spare one can be useful as well. And bunch of cotton. For total fight-noobies things might be tough when there is only few participants, otherwise everyone should manage.
  5. +1, I know the thread is old, but since I took time to search for existence of the same idea I wanted to post I think it may be revived. So, still feed bags are something players would like to have. This would be a new tailoring item, requiring for instance one satchel and same leather reins as the bridle needs. This could work with hitched animal or one that doesn't move (stopped cart or wearing saddle andnot allowing to move again until taken off). Such thing would really help with carts stopped on paved areas or horses in pens packing up all tiles.
  6. +1 - I want black night Wurm again, too bright right now.
  7. I have to share this pic, it's there:
  8. Guys, don't forget the deeds info is added on mayors' wish. That's why I never rely on searching for particular place on map since it may be long gone or never placed on the map purposely. If what I entered is on map - good, if not - keep looking around. Also the server size matters in terms of updates possible count/volume. (I know, Xana is bigger than Inde, but then most of the rest servers are smaller, so easier to scan) For years, the community map was always useful and had many improvements. Let it grow steadily. Relying on mapdump itself (especially the one squizing all northern mountain sides to 3 pixels) isn't good idea for maps that should help anybody. I must admit the flat topological Xana view is perfect. We may easily switch to that on Inde map in the future, right?
  9. Stable seems to work now, addicts. ;-)
  10. Same here, same error both on stable and unstable (like in Keegan's post).
  11. I bet this should go into own thread under Bugs, but this happens on startup: ====== CLIENT CRASH ====== Unexpected crash while playing java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException at class.bQecKPCrYb.XwhlvVTrl(SourceFile:2586) at class.bQecKPCrYb.FZOk5L6Gfy(SourceFile:1422) at class.qM27TpeNdB.XwhlvVTrl(SourceFile:615) at class.bQecKPCrYb.FZOk5L6Gfy(SourceFile:257) at com.wurmonline.client.BILF1iey6X.yuix3IabUz(SourceFile:18409) at com.wurmonline.client.BILF1iey6X.run(SourceFile:36671) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) :-(
  12. Too close to miss that one! Hope I'll have time to come.
  13. Let us know where to be in advance enough to come from other servers. I'll try to get there in time. ;-) Sign up Nunatak please.
  14. I'll try to come. Will it be a problem to get a horse on the spot?
  15. Bees

Yes they do. I was looking for them in wild then a hive spawned right within my villlage walls.
  16. Too bad I read the forum so late. :-/ Anyway, beds and sheets (and any other cotton-ware) won't be a problem. :-) Also veggies and utensils for cooking, but I'm afraid what's most interesting will be available only after the update goes live - I would make preparations for such gathering already, but what will I do now with that potatoes and wheat stacked up without nice distiller? :-D
  17. Hey! Bumping here so you don't stop blogging. ;-)
  18. Bumpy bump! We are still recruiting. Check the village recruitment boards, pm Nunatak on Independence or just leave me a message here on forum.
  19. Some animals should still be able to walk steepest hill. Spiders walk the ceiling in real life, cmon. Think about that sea creatures also have specific behaviour. I agree though there could be some adjustments done to how mobs move. They could for instance avoid top of the hill after spending there some time, or finally use some of that secret stamina.
  20. Fence the area you want to use for some time. Safety pens are not that hard to have.
  21. I got the same problem. The point is, somtimes I cannot even start the client as it crashes right after the connection screen shows up. Haven't wait long before next start but due to the bug I can't login into the game.
  22. Books

How about filling the bookshelves with actually written books? I see simple yet challenging and rewarding model: To make "empty" book one would need just a plank, ribbon and... lets say 50 papyrus sheets (could be swapped for pergamin made out of hide?). Then a character with at least 70 points in certain skill could write a treaty about this particular skill. Additional requirement for mind characteristics could also apply here. The writing action would take few minutes and had a cooldown of hours. One action would be necessary for each page. Reading the tome could work similar way - one action per chapter would take few minutes and require few hours break after. The whole book would give about 1/100 of the skill the author had at the end of writing. There could be other kinds of books, with any custom text for instance. This would make really nice royal libraries available, especially for well grown PMKs, and give those bookshelves a purpose.
