  1. Chaos suggestion

I like this drastically more! This allows for noobs to prepare for the war rather than being forced into it. ..However, a number closer to 20 seems more reasonable?
  2. i5 > i7 for gaming. i7 is for hyperthreading, which is unused in gaming. Until the i7 offers a more processing power, it is an absolute waste of money for gaming. i7 is around a 2% increase in processing power for gaming yet drastically more expensive. Stick with an i5 for gaming. 8gb of ram is enough, the lower CAS latency the better. A 120gb SSD is the way to go; load times are almost non-existant. A cooler is unneeded, assuming you get the right case. Assuming you do not go over around 4.4ghz, any sort of cooling is not needed. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=22110007 This is a very secure and well built gaming PC, which I personally use. Easily runs BF3 on maximum . I chose the parts based on reviews, power, power, and % increase / decrease versus the next step up. If you want to make it more powerful, get another 570 gpu, rather than the 580, as you will see more increase per $. The same for the 590, which is 2 580s stacked ontop of each other. If you do choose to get this, it does require a bit of setup as the SSD I am using requires a firmware update. This SSD is the absolute fastest on the market (at the 120gb level). http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2072259 http://www.ocztechnology.com/ssd_tools/ (you must flash it BEFORE installing the OS) THe beauty with the MSI mobo is that it is made for overclocking; there is even an interface that helps you with all of the steps (or it can do it for you - not recommended to use turboboost, as manual numbers will run a cooler PC at the same speed). As I told you to not overclock past 4.4ghz, you will not need any cooling and it is very stable. I run my case at about 25% fan speed and it keeps all of my cores under 50c under a medium load. Avoid overclocking the RAM, but the CAS7 timings should already be applied, as there tend to be stability issues (experts only!!)
  3. Eggi - Not my name, is the name of an old character in Wurm who I simply took over. Artibaton - The name of a friend in Runescape. He was awesome, had 99 in every skill... (First name) A**Pirate - The name my brother used for many games. His goal was to be as inappropriate as possible. , I never took it over as it was force name changed by Inventor map 4. Lardman - http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/Lard+man/ Nuff said.
  4. When I was a noob, I stole from the Bovine Labs. Unforgiven hated me with a passion, and Xplict, Commcd, and Kinoss were almost my friends. On a more serious note, when I was a noob, I once AQed up 400 mining actions, thinking that was the way you were supposed to play the game.
  5. Silly Dizzy Did you not read my stories at all?? I bumped the page with one of my alts haha. I am perma banned, after all . Just have to say though... I truly do miss this game. The stories I have... Damn interesting. These stories suck and are boring; you have been warned There is one exception at the end Quick post this time, as this is honestly too far back to remember clearly, mainly updates and fixes.. Somehow, I managed to pick up 200kg of water. Pure water. One of our large barrels decayed which was full of water. I decided to place the water into a pile of items, by dropping more items, to make it easier to drink. The pile was a 1pixel thick blue slate, rather hard to click really. Discovering that did not work, I made several more piles of water (by pouring out bowls? Something like that), and placing another item into the pile; hence making it the Pile of Items. Realizing I could "take all", I did. All of the water got into me. I had a single blob of 200kg, and a few smaller ones. I quickly drank up the smaller ones, but realized I had 200kg of water on me... Having fun for a few moments, gawking at the bug I found, I decided it was unbearable having 200kg of undroppable substance on your body. It was too unrealistic to drink all 200kg, and removing it was not possible. Dragging it into containers or "filling" stated that "I cannot do that" or that "You cannot carry that much". There was no drop option, only drink and examine. I requested some assistance via GM, but I was told suicide seemed to be the likely fix. I believe Rolf helped me the first time, as I dragged him off of IRC to see what I had done. All he did was gawk at my corpse, stunned as to how I was holding water... He left soon after, chatting us up of course. My town had a lot of Rolf visits... Later, I decided to pick up my corpse. Why? There is something wrong with me. Seeing as I could not remove the water from my corpse, as it was deemed the container holding it, I was now holding a corpse AND my water. My corpse, could not be dropped for unknown reasons - something to do with that bugged water. I re-summoned a GM, this time Unforgiven. He decided I was an idiot, and should kill myself. Rather than losing my precious 0.25 skill MORE on top of my already high 0.25. I demanded at minimum he wizkill me and summon me back to my corpse, as it was a bug that killed me. Filled with hatred and pure annoyance at how frequently I bothered him (im going to say, daily basis), he said I had to walk back... He told me I was not allowed to pick up my corpse again, or he would ban me for exploits . So, once my corpses (there were 2 now!) finally decayed, we had a giant puddle in the middle of town . ... On a side note, prior to TehLeetPie (climbing introduction map), We learned of a planned map reset, but items and money carry over. Everybody flocked to NewTown to use the trader, selling everything of worth. Somehow, there were around 30-40 carts filled with bricks, ore, etc. There were laws in NT that forbid looting from carts, or something stupid like that. Grabbing an alt, I pillaged every damn cart there. Selling all of the loot for minor profit, I somehow ended up with nearly 25 silver (this was A LOT back then). Corpses of me were piling up everywhere, and the local chat was incredibly confused as to why I was dying every 3 seconds... I took my silver attempted to rejoin Zarniwhoop, but I guess what I did was against the town rules... Then my days of Kyara were upon me! Why not mention why I was banned, right? A more boring story them the rest. I did have some fairly reputable skills, I believe Gavin was slightly above me with 95 or so (I was at 93) mining. Sharing my account with some friends while I was away for a few days. I couldnt do this often, as I was a CM and had to get Oracle to revoke my title. Anyways, one of my friends decided to use that NoTrees hacked client... I didnt even get a chance to appeal This is the (semi)interesting part Finally! On my adventures to collect chickens for my farm, I met a stranger. A man with the name of Glue. This man, had the strange fascination with NOT collecting chickens, but rather kill them for measly weapon skill! What a waste I said! I instead, brought him to a Green Goblin spawner. In return, he promised to not kill any chickens nearby, and let me collect the ones that those damn goblins were protecting. He actually helped me collect some chickens and pheasants, and we talked for a while, like true men!... Little did that silly man know... He helped break the game for a few weeks. That silly man, later revealed to me Glue was just an alt, he had a main character. Barakus. Or, as most of you know him now, Oracle. Not my most entertaining stories, but hey... At least its something? I also figured I might as well say hi .
