  1. 1st question: you have to be a mayor to accomplish it.

2nd, change the kingdom of the gm account your on and then you change the kingdom of the player to match your own.

3rd, don't understand the question, elaborate.

4th, any edits done to the database requires a server restart in most cases, some can be accomplished by the player leaving the server and rejoining,  if its an item in inventory (or anything that reflects the player(best to do player edits while they are offline thou as it can be buggy to edit anything player related when they are online)).

Some more observations.. GM refresh only seems to refresh to 60% nutrition fill your food bar.. nutrition level doesn't seem to change....anyone else notice this? Also, I can't seem to get the GM "weather" bind to9 work that Jberg mentions in his opening post regarding GM abilities.

you need to type "weather" into the console (F1) without quotes. Another window will popup outside of the the game that allows you to adjust time and weather settings.

  3. I did the same thing, I ended up scrapping the map and restarting. Had no idea what you did could have worked but it did later dawn on me I could have probably used the paint terain tool.

paint terrain 3x3 with an ebony wand will fix the hole. (set data on the wand to 3, 3, 5,)

  4. A question I have is... is there a roll back feature? If so is it simular to the event monitor and rollback plugin like coreprotect for bukkit servers?

To globaly and or localy around a GM be able to roll back all or a select type of events for a given amount of time. An example "/rb t:1h10m e:dig r:10" So that it wold rollback all dig events for the last hour and 10 minutes with a 10 tile radius of the Gm executing the command.

If not I am sure this sounds like an attractive feature that you would find useful in the WO servers as well and should be food for thought.

you can setup a windows event, or cron job (linux) for that matter that periodically copies and renames the world files and databases to another directory.

  5. i could imagine that your will spawn altars in gm mode (like something to build up your starter town) and for religion limitations there must be templates. see the new gods in WO.

as far as being able to cast in sp, would be as simple as making your self kingdom leader and using the royal priest titles. this would make all spells half favor.

with mp would be suprised if there wasnt an adjustable variable for spell prices.

  6. So my understanding is that each steam account that purchases WU gets one WU account which means one character? Are there any plans for allowing accounts to have multiple characters? So far this is the only major drawback that I see to WU over WO is that you can't run multiple clients/characters at the same time.

Another question is will settings related to priests be able to be changed? Say I wanted priests to be able to priest but not have the penalties to what they can do (dig, craft farm etc) I know that going into GM mode you could just bypass this but thinking in terms of servers would there be a way to change this for everyone on the server?

While the idea of only one character at a time is limiting it could force people to work together more - but then players playing the priest only are very limited.

just make the priest account a champian of the religion.

Some of my biggest questions are how cloose to this can we get with wurm. Ill spend the time, Ill spend the money, but can wurm support this level of detail.

Highly doubt you could pull anything like that off due to the fact of tile size limitations for showing the detail, you could prolly get the base height map, but not the fine detail such as the water erosion.
